I WANT THAT COAT!! Can anyone tell me what it is?

Shoes are fab too, although I'm not feeling the sox. Love the blk/wht composition along with the stripe in the road.

Blogger Kokutouchichi said ... (12:07 AM) :

Her shoes are rad...

Her face is angry...

Angry fashion! I luv it!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:12 AM) :

do you need to clean your sensor, or is that rain?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:13 AM) :

Was her hair deliberately like that, or just a snapshot with the wind blowing?

Also, the "cow" socks add a nice flair.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:17 AM) :

the hair kills it

Blogger hayleysherie said ... (12:29 AM) :

ew. i am not a big fan of the trash bag look.

Anonymous Cecylia said ... (12:35 AM) :

Anonymous Elizabeth Wedel said ... (12:39 AM) :

Isn't that a Henriik Vibskov oversized jumper?

Anonymous The Photodiarist said ... (12:40 AM) :

The shoes are wicked.

Blogger Soren Lorensen said ... (1:11 AM) :

Anonymous street peeper phil said ... (2:24 AM) :

Yeah, pretty sure its a Henrik Vibskov poncho thing. I have one too. The shoes are Acne I think?

Blogger Jennifer Camp Forbes said ... (2:24 AM) :

OMG, lol. I was just on the same train as her on saturday night and she was wearing that coat and those shoes. I commented to my boyfriend how i like her shoes and coat.

Her friend on the train had an awesome haircut.

This cracks me up. What are the odds?

Blogger thwany said ... (3:02 AM) :

wow---great shot.

Blogger Shay said ... (3:11 AM) :

Lovely, she looks like a samurai. Very strong.

Anonymous Katherine said ... (3:19 AM) :

A modern take on the kimono profile? With bulky clothing/loose sleeves tapering from her shoulders and flaring at hip-level and tottering platform shoes with socks. Hair pulled back in a high bun.

Blogger Unknown said ... (3:27 AM) :

There is a narrative of high-low here. The high fashion footwear is nicely contrasted with the humble tote bag and side-bun hairstyle. The free form coat adds drama.

Blogger sofiasophie said ... (3:32 AM) :

isn't it a CDG coat?

She is not angry, she is just thinking very hard on all the things she has to do during her day....

Blogger Marta R. Gustems said ... (4:46 AM) :

I really like these kind of looks, more personal and independent.
I have a blog with stylish people drawings. I hope you like it!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:56 AM) :

"Do you read me" bag from Berlin. Great store.

Blogger Hanna Persson said ... (5:06 AM) :

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:36 AM) :

JAPANESEEE STYLE!

Anonymous Katy McDevitt said ... (7:31 AM) :

I'm diggin' the style. The grouchitude makes me laugh, too.

Anonymous Stéphanie said ... (7:44 AM) :

Beautiful !

Blogger thingswedreamof said ... (9:49 AM) :

Anonymous Holly said ... (9:54 AM) :

Great way to wear white sandels after labor day!!!

Blogger Nick Leonard said ... (10:51 AM) :

I like the shoes!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:17 AM) :

It's like she's taking the streets by storm--what a strong picture

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:15 PM) :

looks liek she just woke up and was in a hurry. still she can pull it off.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:56 PM) :

socks and open toe shoes? it's the high heel equivalent to socks and sandals.

Blogger dash said ... (11:51 PM) :

this has nothing to do with her style. it just cracks me up that people are busting out the fall clothes in nyc cause they're just dying to wear them. it's still quite warm here. looking at this photo makes me sweat.

Blogger Vernalene said ... (12:36 AM) :

Love Love LOVE the shoes, but IMO the rest of the look is just a messs.....

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:30 AM) :

This is wonderful. So different from anything you'd expect to see in NY. Think the people seeing the Japanese reference are spot on: both in the form of a kimono/geisha look, but also in terms of CDG and Yohji. Unexpectedly love this!

Fashion victim. Sorry, Sart, sometimes I can't go there with you.

Blogger The Clever Pup said ... (8:08 AM) :

I'll get you and your little dog too!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:07 AM) :

Just get rid of the socks and smile with the knowledge you own such fierce shoes!

Di from San Francisco

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:18 PM) :

the socks & shoes make this whole outfit look Japanese martial artsy...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:34 AM) :

The whole look is quite scandinavian, the acne shoes, the Vibskov sweatshirt and the hair bun.
she looks great.
