What a gracious, friendly evening you hosted. So lovely to meet Garance Dore as well. Smiles all around, democratic and embracing of everyday chic folks... that is what fashion, retail and magazines should be all about. Elitism does not inspire people outside the fashion world to shop and put on their best..but you do. The success of your launch and the following you have are well deserved. Let's keep spreading the word.
We love you - Darby and Solange

Blogger UESman said ... (4:55 PM) :

Just looking back at that photo of Lino, and I noticed something interesting....his hands.

I've been figure drawing since I was 7 and I rarely see hands that interesting and intricate looking. They're calloused looking, wiry and brutish. And the way they clasp that stemware offsets their nature beautifully.

Lots of interesting body language going on!

Thats why I think he's so damn cool, its because you can tell he's done many things in life other than just run a clothing store.

I just love it when a person's body language and clothes reflect their real personality. You can tell Lino and others in these photos are extremely comfortable walking around in what they wore.
