Congratulations. Looks like a lovely night.

The book is a lot of fun. I had saved a lot of my favorite pictures from the blog, but having them all in a book is a much more elegant solution. [Can the NEXT book be larger, though?!]

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:17 PM) :

Thanks for introducing me to Garance - I've bookmarked her English site.

Who knew kisses were so fashionable - maybe you'll start new trend!

Anonymous Kate G. said ... (12:51 PM) :

Now for something slightly less glamourous. While Mr. S was signing at The Griffin, I was in the checkout line at Anthropologie San Francisco with his new tome in hand. No crystal flute for me. I did have some Napa red in a jelly jar later.

I've shelved The Sartorialist next to a new copy of Frank's The Americans, just a few volumes down from a dogeared copy of Disfarmer. Great shooters of culture belong together.

Blogger miMo said ... (12:53 PM) :

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:01 AM) :

Sart, I know you have an immaculate sense of style...But somehow, I have an urge to mess you up a tad. Don't get me wrong, I love your sense of style(Otherwise I wont be following ur blog:p)but I think the whole picture perfectness (well groomed hair, brillantly white starched shirt and ceaseless trousers) looked contrived. Thoughts, anyone?

Anonymous tammy said ... (6:48 PM) :

Congrats! The shots are amazing and you look so happy!
Can't wait til you make it to Los Angeles!

Blogger Jack Daniel said ... (7:46 PM) :

So, the last picture of the series in this blogpost really convinced me you and 'her' are a true couple.

Anyway...great series of pictures.

Anonymous desertwind said ... (8:39 PM) :

Aw. Now you have a chance to let your hair down!

Many congrats, Sart. And thanks for taking us along for the ride.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:51 PM) :

I have always liked this blog. However, these personal touches you give it now w/ more conversation about your vision (i.e. why you chose this particular concept for your book) has made me come to love it. I'm about to graduate high school this year and am quite excited for what is to come. I'll keep an eye out for when you're next doing an event in New York; now I would very much like to meet the person behind these pictures (hopefully Garance will be there too :))
