What a face! The cuteness, squared.

Really nice to see a child dressed like a child and not a miniature rock star ...

Blogger Caroline said ... (11:14 AM) :

That skirt is wonderful -- all the bright colors on a sophisticated, neutral background makes it look like a small version of an adult's garment.

Blogger marlenedesigner said ... (11:14 AM) :

My daughter has the same sandals. Cute skirt!

Blogger DS said ... (11:21 AM) :

Lovely - I too appreciate seeing children who are not styled like mini adults. She looks colourful, comfy and unselfconscious (and her parents obviously have great taste).

I love the pointed toe pose!

Blogger Unknown said ... (11:50 AM) :

What a sweet little doll! I love the hat, of course! She is simply adorable!:-)))

Blogger loca said ... (11:51 AM) :

I think the best part of this photo is her pose, how she bends her right leg. Adds much character.

Pageant mommies take note; there is no improving the beauty of a child.

Awwwww! So cute! Is that a beanie? I love the knit beanie! Her skirt is adorable! Her shoes and shirt to match. I honestly want to know where she got her bracelets!

great smile and colors. however, clothes seem new.

prefer broken in threads on children.

it assumes physical play in dirt/concrete, and an unapologetic freedom.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:29 PM) :

God bless.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:31 PM) :

That's right! Only kids are able to pose with cute foot gestures and look natural. Supermodels and fashionistas doing the same look ridiculous. Nice shot.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:53 PM) :

That's what being a child is all about.
Candy colours AND smart accessories? That girly girl (and Mama) has taste!

Anonymous susan e said ... (2:54 PM) :

cutie patootie! i agree, post more toddler/child photos. nice to break things up a bit. and plus, everyone loves a cute kid. except, you know, those people who don't.

Anonymous Stephen said ... (3:32 PM) :

What I want to know is: Did she choose the outfit or was it chosen for her?

Blogger The Clever Pup said ... (6:27 PM) :

She is a child and very cute but you do know there is a difference in the definition of childish vs child-like.

Anonymous Nitpicky said ... (10:29 PM) :

What a great look! But I'm skeptical of your tag, "Childish Color." She looks put together and comfy amid the brights and rumply neutral of the skirt. To me, that's truly sophisticated--nothing childish about it!

I think the tag doesn't match the way the photo conveys her.

How about "Kid Color" or "Childhood Charm"? Or something better...ideas?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:32 AM) :

Ever sweet!

Anonymous Diana said ... (2:34 AM) :

She's absolutely cute in these happy-go-lucky colours. And I love the thought that literal you have to kneel down in the face of beauty to make this pic ;-)

Blogger webidentity said ... (4:15 AM) :

Do the parents know their kid is on the net?

Blogger Stephon said ... (5:15 AM) :

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:28 PM) :

It's really cool how the backround seems to be in incessant motion and the little girl is the only stable still object.

Blogger Joy Mars said ... (5:05 PM) :

Candy colors. She must LOVE those sandals. Someone has great taste, literally and figuratively!

Anonymous Caitlin Siddall said ... (6:34 PM) :

She's fantastic, and so are those sandals! I'm secretly a little jealous they dont come in my size. The braclet is just great too.

Anonymous leticia said ... (11:34 AM) :

love the sandals!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:58 AM) :

Such a cutie.....

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:06 PM) :

I think those sandals are from Target! She is so adorable:)

Anonymous Kenneth Cole Shoes said ... (10:40 AM) :

Really cute shoes :)

Blogger monstergirlee said ... (12:28 PM) :

My daughter has those sandals - I love them with so many of her summer outfits. Nice to see a child here. And yes, they're from Target.

Anonymous xo said ... (2:15 PM) :

with the barrage of fashion blogs flooding the internet, one sometimes gets a bit fatigued with fashion snaps that start to look too much like the next photo.

Your blog is different, and it's photos like this one, and your willingness to use kids as subjects that keeps things fresh.

Blogger Tim McFarlane said ... (12:36 AM) :

She looks like a comfortably happy little girl, very cute!

Blogger Hayley said ... (4:22 PM) :

so so so cute!

Blogger NYC Tidbits said ... (5:40 PM) :

what a little cutie pie!! love her colorful strappy sandals and most of all, her adorable smile :)

http://nyctidbits.blogspot.com/

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:37 PM) :

unless they are the "original version", the sandals might be from payless shoes:
http://www.payless.com/store/product/detail.jsp?productId=65213&catId=cat10090&lotId=069688&selectedSegment=Infant

my daughter has them and at 12.99 they are a steal.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:53 PM) :

what a cutie! love the splash of colors! cant leave out the young ones!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:55 AM) :
