Comments on "On the Street.... Starting the Transition"
Noooo! Not to the outfit, but to the transition!
The only good thing about leaving Summer is all the beautiful layers and scarves.
Love how he plays with colors. I want to go out and buy socks in every color!
I love his checked shirt, great look!!!
That is Jerrel from Comme des Garcons. As nice as he is good looking!

That shirt is so fresh...
I love the little peep of red sock. Very sassy.
Thanks doll,
The Glamorous Housewife
he is sexy!!!
The red gingham shirt with the chinos and blue sneakers is perfect. The socks set it off.
One must be careful with bright color gingham, if the check is too small, it will make people dizzy. I think this one is the right size. The front vertical seam on the pants make them look precious when this could be such a simple outfit. Totally agree with a previous post on the colorful socks. The best thing about bright socks? They always go on sale and you can stock up! I am wearing red argyle ones today!!!! Jorge from WPB
Between this post and well-suited, Florence, I'm in bright socks heaven!
Deja vu: boys walking down the street after school dressed this way.
But, they were not "flipping the bird" to hold their paper unless angry.
I live in Georgia. It gets so freaking hot down here, plus the humidity is so bad its hard to breath. I'm ready for the transition.
To me, best thing about this outfit is the way the khakis and the shoes look together.
love that this pic could be found anywhere in the country, nay the world. good sartorialist! Olwyn
London Fashion Rocks
Whoa! Check out the seam on the pant legs! I like... Emma Howard is right, previous post, he sort of is flipping the camera off. Ha!
Can anyone identify the shoes he is wearing?
I would give anything for that jacket..
Nice look for last days of summer!
Wow, he's really hot...from head to toe;)
How i love the "trad" look is getting updated.
Playful yet masculine and authoritative.
The best thing is each item need not be the exact brand one might see in pictures, but one can substitute with others perhaps less expensive or just slightly different. For example the sneakers here can be, let's say Sperrys, but one can wear Vans just as well.
On other note, I'm so glad this guy is holding a building plan in his hand instead of a cell phone like most other pictures you see in fashion blogs.
thats working
He looks very common to me. I mean, he is presentable and I like the elements of his outfit separately (particularly the red and white plaid shirt), but there is nothing extraordinary about this look to me. I wish I could see what is so inspiring.
Great balance of colour; and also the cut of the pants and jacket. I really like the tone on tone.
Neat looking, but too hot for the summer. Like the checks a lot. And the navy with the forest green. Nice.
yeah he's hot.... love the outfit too
is he giving you the finger?
I love transition times of the year! I can't wait to change over my closet, especially since I've seen the new fall fashion issues. He looks right on!
Love the red shoes she wore!
great
All the clothes are by Junya Watanabe, including the shoes, which were a limited summer release. They just look like vans but have a gingham insole I think.
It is a really nice look, unforced, unfussy and suits the wearer.
everything perfect! love the blue shoes and the hint of red sock.
This is rad.
Handsome brute, dressed (casually) to the nines. Bravo,& great shot, Sart!
so very clean
Very nice. Perfectly executed. If anyone's noticed, more and more skateboarders are dressing like this.

the outfit is plain but he's do damn hot!!!
this is great
nothing wrong with plain, either. i think the the look connotes a casual friendliness, i'm glad to see it here!
That's a great checkered shirt and I love it paired with the pants. red socks, and blue sneaks. I can already sense the weather beginning to shift slightly.
what bold combination! looks great!

the blog that no one knows about
those who wear layers in the summer heat should be send to hell to enjoy them, because i don't see any other reason why to dress like that in august,oh i forgot some of them wear scarves too,oh my oh my...
Love Vans + vichy!
very good looking, i like the outfit as well
cant wait for the fall. you get more choice in dress because you are not thinking too much about which outfits WONT make you sweat when you walk =)
he looks fantastic!
Definitlely my favorite since some time! (even if I am not that much into button-down collars) - that shade of green kills me!
M.
omg he was some hot chocolate
Please no matchy socks!
Perhaps a drabbed out contrasting color would have been more intriguing as a balance to all that super saturated primary color.
Do love the check.
Anonymous- the shoes are Vans Era/Authentics
D.K.- I believe that proper way to word that statement would be, "more people are dressing like skateboarders". Grab any skateboard magazine from 3-4 years ago and you will see the vans/any vulcanized soled shoe with Wayfarer shades, dark, fitted denim and flannel/plaid button downs. Skaters have always been trend setters.
Normally, I don't care what people do, as long as it doesn't affect me
however,
seeing someone in a jacket, on a hot summer day irritates me.
I'm in NYC, and I can't imagine an August day worthy of a jacket. It's not unusual for it to be 80 degrees at 7am in August.
