Ha haa. In this pic I'm just checking out the lingerie in the window. They are pretty.

But it's a beautiful butterfly in a beautiful dress.

i see nothing special in this

Anonymous Emma Howard said ... (1:35 PM) :

"The fluttering of a butterfly's wings can effect climate changes on the other side of the planet."Paul Erlich

I applaud the artist who created this simple motif for the back of this t shirt dress.

Butterflies always signal "transformation" to me when I see them fluttering in my line of vision.I'm counting this picture as my symbol of a very good day ahead!

Blogger cami falcão said ... (1:37 PM) :

Blogger Lieutenant Glahn said ... (6:54 PM) :

The store: Le Boudoir de Chantal Thomass (or La Boutique Chantal Thomass)

211 rue Saint Honoré, Paris

Blogger Unknown said ... (7:03 PM) :

The dress is unique and what i love about it is that it has a settle amaount of the 'butterfuly motif' trend. http://meghanfabulous.com/store/ has a lot of nice trend with the butterfly motif

Anonymous Cindy M said ... (7:18 PM) :

She's the butterfly ;)...

Anonymous Cecilia said ... (7:56 PM) :

Do I see VPL??? Maybe is my imagination, or maybe I should just focus on the wings, too....

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:37 PM) :

She's an angel....
A beautiful angel.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:08 PM) :

i find this a little too cute for something a grown woman would wear, but that's just MO.

Blogger Kelly said ... (10:19 PM) :

Love it even though it's simple. Butterflies are hard to go wrong with when it comes to dresses.

Blogger masuat said ... (10:58 PM) :

I think the Sartorialist may in fact be hinting that she's an angel (angel wings).

Anonymous Bombshell Kitten said ... (11:04 PM) :

Dress has cute shape, great belt.

Blogger Celia said ... (1:15 AM) :

That dress shouldn't work on a girl over 12, but it does!

Anonymous Beata said ... (1:29 AM) :

rather common ... nothing ground breaking.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:40 AM) :

Chantal Thomass attracts a butterfly, thats for sure !!!It attracts me too thousands of milles away...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:01 AM) :

I think vpl is sexy and cool, because it seems more demure. if we saw no vpl, we'd be thinking "thong," or "no panties." Right? That's dangerous under a short dress!
She looks sweet and comfy.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:32 AM) :

That's a Zadig&Voltaire butterfly dress, unfortunately for a simple dress, it costs 315 euros... Love it anyway

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:32 AM) :

Soooooooooooooo cute.

Blogger Shadan said ... (9:15 AM) :

what a G.R.E.A.T. shot!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:02 AM) :

the dress definitely looks like it's from Zadig & Voltaire...

Blogger kayang said ... (11:14 AM) :

I'm sorry, but I don't really like this outfit!

I think it might just be disturbing some sad memories of what I wore in my childhood. lol

Blogger ani said ... (1:28 PM) :

Mariposa, it would have looked even lovelier if it were wings...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:17 PM) :

this is zadig & voltaire

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:58 PM) :

nice belt

Blogger noelakadjtambour said ... (9:35 PM) :

nice summer look and an even nicer summer photo

Blogger Kaonashi said ... (4:43 AM) :

The shoes are cute; the dress isn't.

She also looks too much like the young lady with the fantastic Galliano handbag from a week ago.

Blogger Sulistiono said ... (5:19 AM) :

very inspired... simple n nice

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:57 AM) :

simplicity is so beautiful...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:46 PM) :

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:28 PM) :

Hair = great. Stance = Yumm. sandals = erfect. Dress = chic/effortless. Mystery of back view = timeless. Lovely reminder of looking at girls at high school - from the back - 30 years ago. Ahh well...

Anonymous evqua said ... (8:49 PM) :

butterfly :)

Anonymous Kathryn said ... (5:55 AM) :

What an awesome shot.!! That dress is fabulous.. I am in love with that.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:50 AM) :

most definitely zadig and voltaire but everrry time i go in there, i can never find anything at all...annoying, and might i also add 'overpriced'?

she looks nice though

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:35 PM) :

Blogger Joy Mars said ... (5:43 PM) :

She has found her avatar and she's wearing it on her back.

Anonymous ines said ... (6:29 PM) :

Not one of the most simple+cute summer dresses honestly ... :/

Anonymous Lucy said ... (8:02 AM) :

It is cute enough but a bit blah. The wings are kinda naff.

Blogger Sarah Engel said ... (1:03 PM) :

i like it, it looks casual and comfy.

Anonymous Mehrasax said ... (2:33 PM) :

Lovely...the fact that she catches your attention from behind!

Blogger Julie K said ... (5:02 PM) :

She looks absolutely amazing - but straight outta the mall. Wouldn't be surprised to see similar at Forever 21 or Aerie

Blogger TKTK/Glynnis Mapp said ... (5:16 PM) :

Smooth line (^_^)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:06 AM) :

Anonymous Brett said ... (9:46 AM) :

She's hot!

Blogger Sidney Rhule said ... (11:46 AM) :

This is just Natural beauty, simplicity of line and form.
This is european elegance and style.
The butterfly wings just give it a finishing touch of chic.
