Sweet and funky. How this girl can walk with her thin heels and not get stuck between the cracks amazes me. So does her style.

Thats a very pretty dress! Ilike the overall theme of blue, and those shoes are incredibly gorgeous... There's something about t-bar shoes that have a great retro appeal.

Blogger SOMETHING PICASSO said ... (11:02 AM) :

Pretty light dress with heavier necklace? Mmm now that's a thought.

Anonymous LHR said ... (11:12 AM) :

The blue sandals with stacked heels are fabulous. I rarely see blue shoes these days. Does anyone know what brand these shoes might be?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:27 AM) :

it would make sense that that round thing on her neck is a necklace but my brain couldn't process that until i looked closer. it's the only part i didnt like. i find it too foreign to go well with her outfit. everything else is FAB. want that dress!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:28 AM) :

Isn't she inviting? Yes~!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:37 AM) :

Very pretty shoes & dress, but don't like them together at all.

Blogger kahartland said ... (11:56 AM) :

i like the printed dress, the necklace is a bit odd, but it works i think... love the shoes ;)

Blogger Brian said ... (12:23 PM) :

Another object lesson on the aesthetic value of heels v. sandals...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:26 PM) :

Anyone know who the dress is? Interesting neck piece. Beautiful composition and photo!

Blogger Unknown said ... (12:43 PM) :

Lovely shoes with that dress.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:58 PM) :

this shoes are fab

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:00 PM) :

i love the contrsast between the airy dress and the very heavy necklace. the bag, however, throws things a bit off kilter

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:18 PM) :

the dress is wonderful, but like a previous commenter, i'd pair it w/ flats. the necklace looks like it's some kind of device for repelling bugs/ emitting cooling mist/ playing music [???]....

Anonymous Bombshell Kitten said ... (1:50 PM) :

This color palette is really gorgeous for the season.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:53 PM) :

Are we sure it is a necklace and not some type of MP3 player. I think on the left I see ear plugs that are not in use.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:54 PM) :

Her outfit is really simple but her shoes really give it a BANG.

Anonymous La Dauphine said ... (2:07 PM) :

Love this pic! Beautiful shoes!

Blogger Marilyn Eve said ... (2:07 PM) :

the shoes? Someone must know...

Anonymous Sophie, the Barton Girl said ... (2:40 PM) :

This photo perfectly illustrate my motto: "'tis impossible to go wrong in Marni".

Anonymous Manganolia said ... (3:32 PM) :

hmm...not that simple! this quite well planned...

Blogger brittany sterling said ... (4:22 PM) :

those shoes!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:43 PM) :

Who walks with their arms crossed? She looks too self conscious to be comfortable. At least she is dressed well. Not too sure about the bag, though. The young lady behind her looks interesting too(an airy goth look?--dark toenails even!). Nice shot!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:59 PM) :

Hi Scott, nice to meet you in Toronto, take a look at our post about the event. You look cute!

Blogger Barbara said ... (6:36 PM) :

this is one of my favorite. The whole look is just beautiful. I want that dress!

Blogger Brigadeiro said ... (7:55 PM) :

Absolutely stunning! The easy breezy floaty dress, the incredibly funky necklace (love it!), Marni bag & vertiginous heels...GORGEOUS!
xx

Blogger SallyO said ... (9:04 PM) :

So, are "weird" necklaces taking the place of "statement" necklaces now?

Blogger lenmeister said ... (9:07 PM) :

I think Anon 1:53 is right, it may not be an actual necklace she has on but some type of mp3 player pouch? ( earphones popping out slightly to her right mayb ?). Still a textbook "sartorialist ensemble", depicts her personality of the day, love every bit of it! easy and chic. Just red an article stating that the dandiest and snazziest of outfits shouldn't take 10mns to b pulled out of the closet, bet it took her 5!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:16 PM) :

The bag is MARNI. And i believe the dress is too.

Blogger DENNI said ... (11:43 PM) :

simple. but chic. love it and her great shoes.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:23 AM) :

Beautiful.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:25 AM) :

and BOOM goes the dynamite

Anonymous Emma said ... (8:21 AM) :

All the elements are amazing--necklace, dress, bag shoes--but I'm not sure they all work together. Those heels want a slightly longer hem, fuller skirt and darker coloring...the necklace wants a slightly more open neck...and the strap on the bag is a little too long.

The dress and the sunglasses, with a smaller bag and some shoes better suited for the day time would have been perfect.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:29 AM) :

What brand those shoes are? pls help, i want em!

Blogger Caroline said ... (5:53 PM) :

Oh those shoes are lovely!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:05 PM) :

If only her bra strap was not hanging under her sleeve, this would look perfectly put together

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:10 AM) :

She makes me smile. :) Really beautiful and stylish.

Anonymous Sophie said ... (9:25 AM) :

The shoes are this seasons YSL Tribute sandals. Gorgeous and ridiculously comfy for 5" heels! I have them in black, now regretting not getting the blue ones...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:04 PM) :
