great style, but a little warm for scarf and blazer, no?
I should go to Italy.
That scarf is amazing! The blazer is also really cool! The length of the blazer is what makes it amazing to me. The lady to the side is also cool too! The marines style jacket with the navy blue and white striped tee shirt is incredible! It's so cool watching the way others dress!
check out my trendy blog!

LOVE the jacket( on the left)!
This the sexiest adrongynous look I've ever seen. Scott - I heard you were just in Toronto (my city). Am heartbroken I couldn't make it out to your book launch - but I WILL buy your book when it's out. I'm a slobbering fan. Hope you found some serious sartorialism worthy of your blog in TO! Congrats on your book and continued success.
Your fan,
Liz Parker
I'm not entirely sure about the clothes themselves, but I like how the scarf reminds me of feathers and that fits the look.
classic!
love. my favorite sartorialiste.
I love black and white. kisses

A definitive chic appeal in black and white...i'll forgive the navy socks and tennies, this time ;)
Francois Hardy wore striped t-shirts like this in early 60s.
Anywhere else in the world the guy wearing the frilly scarf would have been jeered and scoffed at. I know parts of the world where he would have been chased by angry throngs of mediocrity.

black and white has become passe since may, but glad the trend is catching on overseas.
if you were to do it right, i prefer light bottoms and dark top (reverse), but that'll catch on as well.
Very nice.
White blazers are so chic on the right person. Love the look.
I think true fashion is neither IN, OUT, or Passe. I think people who pay attention to trends...and dress accordingly ARE passe. Sure there are bits and pieces that you can take from each season, but when you dress according to what YOU like...this is having true style.
Many people who don't know what true style is pay attention to seasonal trends and act as if they are the 10 commandments.
The Sartorialist does an amazing job of finding individuals that do it right.
the scarf is a Dries van Noten Keffiyeh in navy blue and black silk - I have one
i ♥ italy! i just got a note from amazon today about your book....bravo! your work is fierce!
i'll have to pick it up.
cara mia
just so chic. this is such a great shot too
love.
you shot her (the right one) a few times. I love her, her look is great.
Seeing stripes quite a lot and I love it. Very on-the-moment.
I noticed this androgynous lady has been shot by the sartorialist a number of times.
Does anyone know who she is?
Love the black and white. Awesome shot <3
I like his Mum!
Great look!!!
I'm digging the lady on the left too...she's looking great.
They are so incredibly cool - My style icons in Milan. But who are they?
Is that Ines De La Fressange on the right??
Black and white is always chic. I particularly love the sailor inspired stripes and military-esque blazer.

JouJou, very well stated. Molto bene, très bien.
-Pietro
She is my all time favorite and I'm hoping to see her photos in your book!!
i love that scarf! i wish i could see it better. the sneakers are great, too.
Stylish and relax!
...totally agree with JouJou Loves You.
He looks lady like.....both great style though
Love the classic, classic military jacket on the left. Perfect with the striped shirt - sailor v. general in two different time periods.
love the look, real fashion (as opposed to impractical).
everyone, please ease up on the criticism of people not wearing high heels! they might look good, but they are quite dangerous to the health of your feet and back. not everyone can wear them (and when they get older, some will be sorry they did).
Done with the stupid scarf!!!!! EVERYONE is plopping it over EVERYTHING! Make it stop!
Simple, nice.
Love this!
Perry Farrell would like his style back, please.
they look like an old version of Jamie Hince and Kate Moss..Guess who is who :)
