Uulalaa! I love this. Nude shade is one of my favorite colour in the world. And it looks so comfortable. I would prefer maybe a little bit more feminine structure fot the upper part of the dress.

beautiful dress and expression, so serene. but, i wonder if there is some other shoe/sandal that would have worked for this instead of a gladiator sandal? i was just wondering how not to be too themish.

so perfect !

Blogger Adriana said ... (6:13 AM) :

Lovely!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:33 AM) :

I think the dress is really nice, but she had to war high shoes. With those sandals her legs seem to short especially because of the displaced waistline.

Blogger H said ... (10:10 AM) :

Very inspiring! Your photo captures something so quintessentially classic and atmospheric, I can't help but fall in love with it.
The hints of gold on her wrist and feet makes this subtly regal.

Blogger gabrielazeanadal@hotmail.com said ... (10:43 AM) :

Wonderful picture! I kind of agree with Soren Lorensen though. I love that romantic allure, the dress looks like it is by Forte Forte, does anyone know for sure?

PS. To Zay, 8:58 am, long dresses are great and can be really fresh/cool too. Also not everyone has legs to be desplayed daily, specially in the city.

Elegance is about finding what highlights the great parts of you and hides those that, oh well, are less great, don't you think?

Blogger E said ... (10:52 AM) :

i'd die if i saw people dressed like her on my street..

Anonymous The Stylist said ... (2:36 PM) :

She is fabulous, that dress is gorgeous!

Anonymous Sara Lua said ... (4:17 PM) :

A vision. Esp against the cobble-stoned street and aged walls. I wish more Americans would dress with intention instead of following trashy LA magazines.

Blogger Sophie said ... (4:20 PM) :

what a great picture!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:05 PM) :

Gorgeous! AND it looks comfortable! =)

Blogger Clarity said ... (7:51 PM) :

I would wear that, all she needs is the twenties' hat.

Blogger Brigadeiro said ... (1:44 AM) :

So romantic, ethereal, elegant and comfortable looking, SO gorgeous! :)
xx

Anonymous Diana said ... (2:35 AM) :

The colour of Christina's dress in Andrew Wyeth's "Christina's World" coming to live - a dress like the pale sun in the morning mist of a promising summer's day, like rows and flows of angel hair / and ice cream castles in the air / and feather canyons everywhere - a poem

Anonymous LHR said ... (3:15 AM) :

It looks like she just threw this outfit together but looks so gorgeous. I love effortless looks as I struggle to decide what to wear this morning. Inspiration!

Anonymous Sophie, the Barton Girl said ... (4:24 AM) :

atemporal and borderline ethereal... this is romantic style at its best!

Blogger Hanna said ... (6:10 AM) :

I love the street style in Paris - it seems that the air itself in that city gives clothes some special quality, it's buzzing with elegance.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:55 AM) :

She is wearing that dress so well. Nude colors do so well when the wearer is relaxed, and comfortable.

Blogger The Clever Pup said ... (4:59 PM) :

I'd like to know what people's opinions are of the harsh hair and glasses and the chunky watch. In my opinion they take away from the "Nymph-like" appeal of the dress and shoes.

Blogger Unknown said ... (7:23 PM) :

WOW!! This is what summer elegance and beauty is all about, as opposed to flip-flops and grungy shorts.

Blogger eyefordetail said ... (8:58 PM) :

What is that watch?!!! Love love love...

Blogger Suzanne said ... (1:11 PM) :

The best thing about your photographs is that these people look more comfortable in their high fashion clothing than Miss Jane American looks in her Gap t-shirt. It's the embodiment of sweet life with little pretension that you expect on the runway. It makes me want to find the clothing that isn't necessary in style, but that embodies the way I feel.

Blogger Pretty in a Power Suit said ... (4:23 PM) :

How pretty. She makes me think of Daisy and Great Gatsby. Soft and billowy on a summer afternoon.

Blogger Rebecca Shapey said ... (4:59 PM) :

wow that watch/bracelet is stunning, and the dress is absolutely beautiful. i love how well you captured the movement of the skirt

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:27 PM) :

The watch and dark stone ring ground the look. Adding weight and an androgynous touch without distracting from the gossamer.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:52 PM) :

Dios Mio! Imagine this beauty walking down a deserted avenue in the dark hours of the night. I scared myself just thinking about it!

Blogger DENNI said ... (12:46 AM) :

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:40 PM) :

reminds me of Sophia Coppola a little bit...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:57 PM) :

I absolutely love everything she's wearing. Very flowy and loose that still nicely fits her form. The shoes are elegant. The watch sticks out so well in contrast to everything else.

Blogger Katya said ... (5:50 AM) :

Wonderful! So great dress!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:39 PM) :

No it's Anastasia Barbieri

Anonymous simply hue said ... (4:19 PM) :

This is beautiful! I love the light airy look of this dress. Makes me want to go to Paris....NOW! ;)

Anonymous jC (polkadot) said ... (4:11 PM) :

I am so into nude & shell pink this summer. Have been for a while, but esp. now. I expected to see more of it here in London, frankly. Women are still clinging to black, white, or black&white. Or grey. And occasionally, red. But surprisingly little nude/shell pink, which is the most flattering tone.

Love this dress, of course. Great shot. Does anyone have a clue who the designer is? I can't place it. Thanks!

Anonymous Jasmine said ... (11:59 AM) :

The dress looks so effortless and beautiful. The way it lays and looks extremely comfortable.

it looks like roberto cavalli, spring 2008 or 2009.

Anonymous woman said ... (9:01 AM) :

I love this look simple but so great !

Blogger Jules, London said ... (9:17 AM) :

She wears it well. What a beautiful of hue of the palest of pink! Very Grecian and goddess like but the sandals and shades make it even more wearable and street. I think the length of this frock is really interesting. What a feminine find! Very charming.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:31 PM) :

This look is so ethereal and effortless-looking. Love the skirt!
