so pretty:)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:33 AM) :

that skirt is freaking amazing!!

Blogger Oh Dear Charlotte said ... (10:36 AM) :

i really like how this top is so sheer that it almost looks like the pinkey purple colour is part of it

Anonymous Gabrielle the Nerdling said ... (10:45 AM) :

hehe, she looks so cute. she's got that smirk, like she's hiding a secret.

i love her outfit, probably because i almost never wear colour or anything resembling florals or patterns for that matter.

i need to get on that.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:46 AM) :

Fort Greene has really changed! Wow!

Anonymous vvn said ... (11:30 AM) :

the colour palette is lovely, but i'm not really feeling the outfit; i think it would be better with a different pair of shoes

Anonymous Hannah said ... (11:33 AM) :

Very sweet and joyful. I really like her skirt.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:00 PM) :

I like the colours on her, and also the pale mint green window frame behind her. It nicely compliments the fuchsia skirt and lilaish top. Her shoes make her younger and look comfortable! I would like to see her running!

Anonymous Lo said ... (12:22 PM) :

I love it when you post about women who don't seem to work in the fashion industry ; I feel closer to them.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:56 PM) :

Not bad at all! The color palette is nice. I live in Brooklyn. It's nice to see this low key look, as opposed to the desperate for attention, cookie cutter trendy, look-at-me Williamsburg approach.

Blogger d. said ... (1:07 PM) :

she's gorgeous...

Blogger Hadley Makes said ... (1:50 PM) :

Very strange but very nice.

Blogger Shadan said ... (1:50 PM) :

kool shoes... keds?

Anonymous hollah said ... (2:02 PM) :

Love it; floral, lace, kicks. sweet.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:11 PM) :

Love this outfit.
It's still too cold in Toronto for summer clothes --wahhhhh!

Blogger Lily said ... (2:13 PM) :

love the colors. so classy.

A nice comfortable look without TTH (trying to hard)! You need to spend more time in Brooklyn.

cool... print sheer top and textured skirt. I see about the shoes not matching the girlish ensemble but then again, it works... kinda a relaxed staying cool in the summer feeling... ^^

Blogger Unknown said ... (3:03 PM) :

Not crazy about this outfit although I do like the "laundry day" feel to it. As for the photo the lines draw my eye to the left a lot. Kind of distracting. Love you loads though sart!

Blogger Rita said ... (3:10 PM) :

So delicate and feminine! And wearing sneakers! I really like her, and I love to see pictures from the other boroughs sooo much!

Blogger Nadine said ... (3:10 PM) :

I love this. Great colours, and the lace makes it.

Blogger Mary said ... (3:13 PM) :

this is lovely. :) I like the brooklyn pictures.

Blogger hc said ... (3:22 PM) :

ahh the spread of billyburgh into east brooklyn..

great street

Blogger Angeles Almuna said ... (3:41 PM) :

She looks so lovely and that berry lace skirt is delightful!!! :)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:15 PM) :

to me, it looks like the top was put over a dress? which just made it work double - great as always ~

gretchen

Blogger José Cabral said ... (4:22 PM) :

simplicity and tenderness..

Blogger Mai said ... (4:29 PM) :

she is very pretty and that blouse.. AMAZING.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:51 PM) :

She frames her great figure in a frilly fantastic casual look built for comfort with just enough fashion to keep her crisp through lunch. Great subject--I am not surprised by the fantastic perspective and lighting. Just like you, Sart.

Blogger Brigadeiro said ... (5:30 PM) :

So romantic & pretty, but love the sneakers to bring the look back to earth :)
xx

Blogger dispenserofsoap said ... (5:37 PM) :

really???????????? i don't understand.

Anonymous Charlotte K said ... (7:12 PM) :

Pretty! J'adore le sneaks!

Blogger sdfljslkdj said ... (7:44 PM) :

How chic! I like how her converse/jack rogers almost look like saddle shoes from way back when.

Blogger Laura Gerencser said ... (7:57 PM) :

Absolutely love that skirt!!!!!

Blogger doingtheunstuck said ... (8:00 PM) :

what a lovely face...

Not so keen on her outfit from the ankles down. I just hate it when girls pair that style shoe w/ girlie garments.

Anonymous m.edwin said ... (11:27 PM) :

nice. i like her sense of calm. i'd like to randomly happen across this combination of color and self-assuredness. fan of the shoes too.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:14 AM) :

this color palette is one of my favorites, and it just looks great on her, I like the color on her shoes. the whole picture is awesome!

Blogger Emily said ... (2:50 AM) :

hey I KNOW HER! haha wow she really does photograph well. She's this gorgeous in person too.

What a wonderfully fresh take on style she has too.

Brooklyn represent.

Blogger Anita Puksic said ... (5:20 AM) :

Beautiful !

Blogger mybeautyaffair said ... (8:49 AM) :

oh my god...
i really fall in love with her chiffon top one.
Hoepfully she let it go to me :))

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:56 AM) :

As a Pratt grad I love images from this neighborhood! She looks great too!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:54 PM) :

beautiful face, but i think the sneakers-with-dress look comes off as a little affected.

Blogger elm479 said ... (8:15 PM) :

She's adorable and the look is so imperfect that it works perfectly. As someone else mentioned, she completely pulled off a nonchalant effortless look without looking the Williamsburg crowd.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:41 AM) :

yay! my beautiful love! what a fun surprise to see one of my dear friends on one of my favorite sites. sweet and joyful sums her up perfectly. this girl is effortless and fearless.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:49 AM) :

These shots of non-fashion industry people in Brooklyn are such a breath of fresh air! I love how she wears sneakers with the lacy skirt and sheer top, instead of some god-awful fashion gladiators.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:34 AM) :

LOVE THIS OUTFIT! Especially the lace skirt.

OMG! My Baby! Lookin damn fine. Psht as always!

Anonymous BrooklynBen said ... (2:03 PM) :

She is wearing those sneaks because she probably marched down to this Slavic mecca (Yay Catherine's Caffe!) from 5 miles down Dekalb on a lovely day. Or she came from a picnic at Ft Greene or Prospect Parks and needed to fuel up on some Czech pastry.

Anonymous my special gift said ... (9:18 PM) :

very simple but it's look's so beautiful

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:56 PM) :

Come to Brooklyn more, Sart!

We love you!

xo

Blogger dnqcnn said ... (3:34 PM) :

Everything is great about Brooklyn... and so is this picture. Love how the shoes are so different in style than her outfit, yet... it matches perfectly!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:51 AM) :

I love her sneakers with the dress.

Anonymous Ashley said ... (1:54 PM) :

Ah, she's cute! I love the lace skirt. The shoes are American Eagle. I have them, but I've cut off the tags, but she hasn't.

Blogger Jules, London said ... (9:26 AM) :

A very serene look. I like the way the top and skirt layer perfectly. I thought at first it was a dress. I like the fact that the footwear gives it an edge and stops it from being too girlie. The shoes ground it somewhat. Studied yet relaxed style.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:11 PM) :

i love the combintion of textures, the girly skirt and top and the more relaxed vibe. AMAZING! :)
