Comments on "On the Street......Dots or Spots, Milano"
the only time i've ever seen spots look quite so dignified, perhaps the person more than the garment itself. How fun.
very chic and cool....love her hair
She's like an Italian Suze Orman!
With better clothes.
Love her hair and the whole look!
lovee the dots!!! i like how big and close together they are it looks very new. and that necklace is great!
xox.
The Voguette
Love the Marni aesthetic of this woman. I mention this only because she makes me think of Suze Orman in Marni! Now that's a fashion moment!
I really like the structure of her top/jacket. Very nice. It's also nice to see someone embrace the gray hair. There's no need to worship at the altar of youth. Your own or someone else's.
the spirit of the sixties is back!!
a beautiful lady with a awesome haircut!
I love that you picture personalities!!! Great shots!
She's gorgeous in Marni.
Her hair is really so beautiful...i love the all grey look, i've been trying to talk my friends who are all grey to just go for it! what great inspiration... Dolly Varden
She looks amazing!!! :)
Marimekko and very Harvard Sq cerca 1967
very Merimekko.....great shape - top and hair
I love everything she's wearing --- except the purse.
I've seen bags like this one before on this site and always thought their poofy silhouette wrecked every outfit they were paired with.
An angular purse as a contrasting geometry with the op art circles motif and her hair would have been perfect.
In my opinion. But would Sart see it as too Nordstrom?
She strikes such an elegant pose..love this look!
adore
i like this lady.
Can she even afford any of this?
she looks like she's having fun with it - nice.
wonderful hair, grey at its best

Fabulous, love the combination of the necklace/spotty top - really shouldn't work but it does.
And look at that smile...she knows she looks FABULOUS! I REALLY want the spotted blouse/jacket! It’s divine.
Im in love with the bag she is holding! How cute!!

love this... looks like a marni style necklace
This is such a beautiful coat!
Love seeing this fifties moderne circle print on clothing. She wears it well, and how does she get her hair to DO that?
She´s bold!! Love the print, love the necklace, love the bag... All great!
style adores her. love it

Wow!! I love how she styled her hair!! What caught my attention almost instantly though i how her handbag isnt small like most women have...its actually pretty big and she carries it like carrying a carry-on at the airport!!

Where to start?!? Love the pattern in the jacket/top. I just saw a Rex Ray exhibit so the oval cutouts remind me of that. The bold necklace is perfect and I do like the softness of the bag. Now, the hair. The cut is great, the style dramatic and the color works on her. I would love it if I looked good in what is now my natural color, but my hairdresser and I think not. Because my skin is very fair and I have blue eyes with light brows I would fade away like Casper the little ghost. That's why not everyone can/or will go grey even though they might want to. Sometimes a statement just isn't worth it.
Such a chic modern day Mrs. Robinson!
love the watch, actually.
I just love how you constantly photograph people who look happy, and full of vigor. It's a nice addition to my morning, thanks sart!
It's very "era specific"!
I almost feel like there's a matching skirt and go-go boots somewhere close by.
However she wears it well and is in great shape, as the large dots might not work on a larger frame.
Love the natural grey hair-wish more women would allow their own to go.
Hah:) I thought the jacket looked very Marimekko-like. Glad someboby else verified this.
chic!
i love your blog

It is refreshing to see that fashion has no age. Like it!

amaazing photo. theres something about your work that always portrays movement. Its great :)
Beautiful! I love it when women let their hair go natural and in such a stylish way
For a minute, I thought it was Suze Orman!
cool and chic: i love it!
I love it .
it makes me want to cry.

Dots. "Spots" has a negative connotation.
love the bag, actually.
wonderful picture!
elegance!
Beautiful. Love when you photograph older women who age gracefully. Her hair is gorgeous.
Looking good!
Her outfit bores me.
Elegant yet very fashion forward older woman. Gorgeous. Her hair's amazing, too!
Love her grey hair and big smile!
Circles are so in right now. As is that semi-flock of seagulls hair.
Everything just matches! The color of her hair with the clothes and even the wether on the backgound
Me encanta su chaqueta
Felicitaciones
love dots, this lady especially makes them look chic instead of cute
It's a certain look for a certain person, but it works
I love the necklace,..she is wearing
Love it. Her hair is amazing ;)
Yeah, I absolutely love the hair! Her kids would be proud to have such a cool mum.
She looks amazing!
wonderful photo :)
i love her necklace...

love love her hair!
letting the hair how it really has given a hole fresh style for this outfit. for shure, a cool mum.
i debated that bag awhile back -- it's the softest leather, so you have to clutch it like that so all its contents don't completely weigh it down like a bowling ball!
Is that Marimekko shirt?
I don't want to be afraid of gray, like her!
Ok, THIS is what I want to be when I grow up!
like Jenny said, love the hair. I like seeing women keep their natural hair colour. Who says grey and white can't be sexy?
THIS IS GREAT.
it's a marni jacket. and i agree with previous commenters, she is the spitting image of suze orman! suze's look works for suze, i think, but this is an option she could perhaps try? i hope one of her handlers or assistants reads the sart and sends her a link. love the hair on this lady, too. she's so quintessentially italian. elegant, refined, even with the marni quirkiness.
Strange as it might sound....she kinda looks like Suzy Orman..

Stunning! [Suze Orman...lol. Yes.]
i was looking at your first photos..maybe now you are more interested in fashion or is only a kind of personal growth?
bye
elegant, natural and comfortable in her own skin
she is vibrant, confident, elegant. A wonderful moment.
As for her sense of fashion - right on the mark: I noticed the person first, and the clothing second. The clothing only enhances the beautiful person wearing it, does not overpower her.
what a great look.
This is SO cute! I totally thought of Suze Orman saying 'my little puppies.....the best jackets, can be found..in Milan!'
She looks beautiful! Just everything works, wonderful.

Dots! No, no... spots! No... Oh, I give up! Either way she looks amazing. Love the necklace - I'm surprised no one's commented on it yet.
the sexiest look is honesty. just wear your attitude. seek ye first the right attitude for you, and wear it. and all these things would be added unto you.
You pictured this lady before, also in Marni last year. (Mar 08)she looked as happy and confortable with her clothes as she does now... love it.
Thank You

Love this dress!
so stylish! Love when ladies go grey!
I love her hair. Really cool
You shot her last March.
I was looking for inspiration and did a search of Marni here and voila.
She is consistent in her taste!
I pray that this is me in my better years! What a foxy lady.
When I grow up I want to look just like her!!!!
Love her!!!
I thought she was Suze Orman for a second..
Nice jacket/blouse. And she looks good in the haircut. However...the bag might be practical but it wasnt my cup of tea... (I also would have used a scarf instead of the necklace...) -but thats me! ;-)
Suze Orman never looked better!
reminds me of 101 dalmatians ;p glenn close
Aah, how delightful to see a woman of a certain age so stylish and relaxed about life. Love the fact she has her natural grey hair. Love her! Thanks Sart...
a esto llamo yo tener estilo :D muy glam
she' s a great woman and she isn't afraid to show it! ever had a great style... Anna, mi farebbe piacere rivederti! io sono sempre al solito "posto" :-)

Very nice
wonderful photo :)
Nice looking and good dress to u.
Marimekko again! Well, it is the perfect time to wear our lovely cotton Marimekko tops and dresses! I wish more Americans owned and wore Marimekko clothing in addition to just purchasing the fabric. Their cotton clothing and knits are luxurious.
I love this ladies selection of a darker palate with this print, even though white pants would have been wonderful, especially with her choice of bold necklaces.
Her lovely kid leather clutch and dark pants are a perfect monochromatic match with her layered haircut and color.
Great background and lovely photograph Scott.
