I love the combination of very traditional (black) elements with the fur, and to top it all, the pink booties to rock the outfit to life! Jorge from WPB

Those boooots!!!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:04 AM) :

Wow, the girl in the upper photo got some extremely challenging proportions *just right*; she looks incredible!! And I love the shoes. (Wish the fur wasn't real, though, both pics... )-: )

Anonymous holierthannow said ... (9:05 AM) :

i think next fall this kind of voluminous coat thing is going to be it. for all the vintage hunters out there ...

it's kind of like 20's orientalist to me this outerwear silhouette

Blogger miss sophie said ... (9:05 AM) :

the color of the fur coats is quite nice, though fur in general is not my thing. i do love both women's accessories - the vintagey-looking belt in the first pic, and the woman's awesome studded ankle boots in the second.

Anonymous Alyss said ... (9:06 AM) :

I love, love, love the shoes in the second pic.

Anonymous Mer said ... (9:10 AM) :

exactly the same combination of colours but personalized...fantastic

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:19 AM) :

Dig that bottom pick the best...that coat is luxurious. Those boots are what makes the outfit pop! Sart, boss shots, man!

Blogger MARCA REGISTRADA said ... (9:20 AM) :

remember the tons of comments 'bout smoking many posts ago, sart? multiply them by a million! "teddy bear" is really an 'agent provocateur'. im gonna get my pop corn and watch... lol. great pics, by the way.

Blogger Pearl said ... (9:25 AM) :

I like the second look (with the red boots) much better.

Blogger Patricia S. said ... (9:49 AM) :

Completely love the top photo! She has a whole lot of style. I particularly like what her hair/scarf/make-up/earrings bring to the look and i adore old fur coats; falling apart, a bit ratty, they have a fin de siecle moribund romance that appeals... the Marchesa Casati in her penurious old age!

Blogger marichuka said ... (11:17 AM) :

beautiful pieces! specially the fur coat and the Loubies!
x

Blogger kellywinonaoxford said ... (11:47 AM) :

Loub would be proud!

Blogger Sana said ... (12:06 PM) :

i love them!!on the 2nd pic the boots are great

Blogger Maria said ... (12:17 PM) :

to me everything that the first woman did wrong, the second one did right - from the hair and make-up down to the shoes.

Blogger Kristina said ... (12:20 PM) :

wow! what ingenuity up top. I am so impressed!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:24 PM) :

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:43 PM) :

The upper photo is so Little Edie - Grey Gardens - Beale!! Fantastically retro, love the shoes!

Blogger Maria said ... (1:44 PM) :

Damn why those CLs look so good?

Blogger Jake Money said ... (3:36 PM) :

I really do love fur when it's done in a tasteful way. Good to see some examples popping up here.

BOOTS

Blogger mani said ... (5:40 PM) :

the BOOTS!
oh myy those boots make my heart sing
and while im not a fan of fur,
the big on top small on bottom proportions work really nicely here, though they're probably balanced out by the personality of the BOOTS!

Blogger Jack Daniel said ... (5:49 PM) :

Oh wow, these ladies are very cuddleble.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:53 PM) :

Retro candy boots are adorable...I love them with the coat.

Blogger Ruhvana and Flanelli said ... (5:40 AM) :

These are just beautiful pictures! boheme-chic...et quelle shoes those red ones in the second picture!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:57 AM) :

I absolutely love the first outfit and the way the woman is wearing it: so 20 or 50's retro chic... Scarf, earings, fur, vintage belt, shoes...match perfectely well together. No need of trade mark, Loub or any else.

Blogger Monique said ... (8:24 AM) :

Should I get my grandmother's vintage mink now and beat the trend? Love the Louboutins

Blogger Han said ... (8:33 AM) :

I love the first picture, she manages to balance the proportions just right. I also love her vintage belt. all together the outfit looks amazing!

Blogger ROXY MARJ said ... (8:47 AM) :

pretty clothes, pretty colors....but oh please oh please warm weather come soon!!! I am sooo ready for light weight fabrics and sunshine!!! :)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:35 AM) :

I had a coat like that, but my husband hates this kind of clothes. So I trashed it because of him.

Isn´t this a very very sad story?

Best regards,
Fran Rosa.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:14 AM) :

Blogger May Kasahara said ... (11:17 AM) :

she is so stunning.

Blogger janine said ... (1:42 PM) :

The woman in the first photo really knows how to put it together - she looks a little "whatever", but really knows what she's doing - the casually rolled up trousers, the dark nails, hair slightly "not done, I'll wear a scarf" - wow. I love it.

Anonymous Gisela said ... (5:39 PM) :

God I wish I hadn't passed on those studded loboutins!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:26 PM) :

Love LOVE the first one. SO fab. The second one I like too, but I just love the first one.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:39 PM) :

Oh god, the first one is simply fabulous....so 30s, so classy!
LOVE IT!

I really don't get all this enthusiasm for the second look, though I like it too.

Blogger Unknown said ... (5:40 PM) :

I love the color of these boots w/ the color of the fur. This woman has a great reasonable color contrast going on. That is how it should be. She does stand out without looking desperate for attention.

I do not like the design of the boot. I don't care whose name is on it.

Louboutin doesn't mean perfection. However, the way she pulls her look together makes those boots interesting to me.

Anonymous Katie J said ... (9:03 AM) :

I actually love the first photo she looks like a little urban gypsy...love the headscarf, the rolled up pants and quirky shoes and tights. It's a look that not many could get away with but she pulls off so well! While I love the boots in the second pic the coat is so big it seems to be eating her up! I love how the coat in the first look seems well-worn and comfy yet doesn't dominate the look!

Anonymous Martine said ... (4:27 PM) :

oh, wow!
love the outfit!
