Perfect!
:-)

Blogger Oh Dear Charlotte said ... (9:45 AM) :

love this! homme chic!

Blogger miss sophie said ... (9:46 AM) :

the lighting is divine. and the texture of her pants is intriguing - is it suede?

Anonymous the mouse said ... (9:47 AM) :

What beautiful light! I love the cropped pants with the boots and the long jacket - again great proportion.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:52 AM) :

Amazing pants especialy paired with those shoes!

Blogger La chica said ... (9:52 AM) :

so beauty and carefree...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:53 AM) :

Hey, Garance had some shots of her last month. I remember because I thought the pants had a really weird fabric, and Garance wrote about how they were grey leather, which seemed so strange for such a drapey effect.
Anyway, no fair if we don't get MORE pictures from you!

Anonymous Esmoquin room said ... (9:56 AM) :

I love those pants!!!!!

Blogger Alice Olive said ... (9:57 AM) :

Look at the light!

Blogger crowsfeet said ... (10:00 AM) :

Top to toe lovely; colors, line and proportion of the clothes and boots as well as the composition of the photo.

I'd like to take a moment to welcome the subject of this photo to The Crowsfeet Damp Towel List. She is a beautiful young woman regardless of her attire.

Anonymous anna said ... (10:02 AM) :

OMG! The boots are amazing! Love them!

Blogger Jack Daniel said ... (10:04 AM) :

Outstanding outfit!

Blogger Alison Rowe said ... (10:06 AM) :

Gorgeous--sexy without being cheap, over-sized without being sloppy. Bravo!

Anonymous Ana said ... (10:08 AM) :

These are insanely good trousers. The light in this picture is very dreamy also.

Blogger stephanie-sarah said ... (10:13 AM) :

Everything is structured yet.. so unstructured? They sit perfectly on her thin frame! Those boots can't be unnoted either. Although theyre such a macho design, her soft facial features help the viewer understand that she can still bring forth great feminity when she chooses :) - stephanie

Blogger liana said ... (10:17 AM) :

pants+shoes=perfect!

Anonymous Miss Nahn said ... (10:29 AM) :

Beautiful picture, I love the light.
These pants look amazing, what are they made of?

Enjoy your stay in Australia

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:31 AM) :

Is that the Swedish label Minimarket's boots? Cool!

Blogger Oni said ... (10:38 AM) :

Confident. So simple and chic.

Blogger Lucy said ... (1:43 PM) :

This is just perfect.

Anonymous betsy and iya said ... (1:43 PM) :

so many styles wrapped into one. completely chic, but unassuming. The shoes take it to another level...the beautiful woman behind it---takes it off the charts. The pants are ...perfect in all of their imperfection.

Anonymous Ophelia said ... (1:58 PM) :

Breathtaking, just amazing. One of the most beautiful women I have ever seen - and with great style!

Anonymous Kyveli Sophia said ... (2:01 PM) :

Those pants fit her beautifully, and I love how she's styled them with the long coat, those fantastic boots, and her free hair. Very intriguing texture, yes--another thing that perfectly suits the pants to the boots, their juxtaposed colors and textures. Lovely as always!

Anonymous suzanne nelson said ... (2:08 PM) :

this is so great! those shoes! and i agree with Alice Olive, the light in which you have photographd her is breath-taking.

Blogger Allen - East Hampton said ... (2:39 PM) :

I'm always drawn to these girls who can pull together a few simple, smart choices and hit the bulls-eye. And - for me - it's the walking status-symbols who completely miss the mark.
Pretty lady & great shot.

Blogger Cassaundra said ... (3:02 PM) :

what an incredible woman!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:44 PM) :

I think you've photographed this lady in Stockholm a couple of times - always looks good.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:47 PM) :

wow, this is an ensemble that is so hard to define..it's so inspiring. easy but never done before. her face and hair is also gorgeous..some ppl would have all the luck.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:51 PM) :

amazing. how how howwwww did she pull those pants off???? (no bad pun intended!)if i ever saw those i would have quickly put them back..i guess just a little thought and style gives her the glory.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:03 PM) :

Anonymous Adriana. said ... (8:50 PM) :

She is beautiful.

Blogger mette said ... (10:11 PM) :

What a beautiful picture. I love the ease of her clothing and the way she carries it all.The shoes, although they are a bit odd to my taste, seem to belong here.

Blogger Brigadeiro said ... (10:12 PM) :

Wow, the lighting, that amazing outfit & 'look'...incredible!

Does anyone know who this lady is? We have all seen quite a few pics of her, but I have no idea who she is :)
xx

Anonymous Anna said ... (10:34 PM) :

This is amazingly gorgeous and put together!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:55 PM) :

On every level this is perfection: the hair, the coat, the trousers, the boots, the walk, the lighting and, above all, that gorgeous face and the knowing but nice expression on it. Lovely...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:55 PM) :

Eh...I don't know...a bit contrived?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:56 PM) :

I think the outfit might mesh a bit better with a different haircut.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:56 PM) :

Hmm.. Where is her body in this outfit, it's overwhelming? Or maybe she is hiding it?

Blogger Connie said ... (12:22 AM) :

Beautiful girl and beautiful picture.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:34 AM) :

Gorgeous photo, gorgeous girl, and from one of my favorite places in Paris! But even this won't convert me to wear short baggy pants with pleats.

Blogger mi said ... (12:47 AM) :

Anonymous tj said ... (8:59 AM) :

If you mix equal parts of The Matrix (coat), Indiana Jones (pants and boots), and a good sense of style then this is the result. Nice.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:20 AM) :

Wow! PErfect style!

xo xo

Blogger The Clever Pup said ... (11:42 AM) :

Beautiful and 95% sensible.

Blogger Andrew said ... (1:38 PM) :

She looks like one of the children of the mall circa 1988 - minus the heavy eyeliner and big hair. She's cute, but I can't get into this return to the eighties.

Blogger Barbara said ... (1:41 PM) :

I like the shape!

Blogger Christy said ... (2:39 PM) :

Gorgeous. She reminds me of Christy Turlington. I gravitate towards menswear-inspired pieces with a feminine edge, and this is just right.

Blogger Salóme said ... (3:49 PM) :

Oh yummy!
those shoes
those pants
gimme !

Blogger Jen said ... (5:47 PM) :

I am 98% sure that she's the Swedish buyer Elinor, or at least that's what I know she used to work as. For Swedish clothes stores Weekday. She is always a Stockholm inspiration, and also incredibly sweet. The boots are last season's Minimarket. The rest of the outfit I'm not really sure, she works with the best of the Swedish fashion labels! :o)

Blogger lauren baluyo said ... (6:19 PM) :

What a truly gorgeous young woman! And the natural light really enhances her "angelic features" paired with her rather masculine, chic style. Awesome combo!

Blogger Carmen Gloria said ... (6:25 PM) :

Divine is in everthing!!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:41 PM) :

Nice shoes:)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:02 PM) :

"Gorgeous. She reminds me of Christy Turlington."
Yes-- that's it! Turlington was, and remains the most beautiful and elegant of all the supermodels, made even more beautiful with her generous spirit and kind heart.

This portrait is sensational, like a modern-day angel with a golden halo around her. A perfect follow-up to a heartfelt tribute to your father Scott!

Blogger the sophisticat said ... (7:10 AM) :

The pieces all seem so beautiful.

Such a great shot. Everything works so well.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:55 AM) :

Elinor!

Blogger Dhppy said ... (8:32 PM) :

Well, she looks fabulous, but no one can sell me on high waisted pleated pants. The boots (and her casual elan) are the real stars of this fashion show. I agree with the above poster who mentioned they have an updated Victorian feel.

Anonymous Karl Klingspor said ... (6:56 AM) :

I'd say I love just about everything in this picture...

Blogger Craig Ellis said ... (8:47 AM) :

grrr...hot as a volcano

Blogger junglesiren said ... (5:04 PM) :

This is a great example of chic, modern, comfort. Although I would never wear pants at this length homegirl rocks it perfectly. But me thinks she could rock a fuzzy sweater and stonewashed jeans and still look heavenly. She's just gorgeous.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:12 PM) :

Stunning. This woman could make a burlap sack work.

Blogger Cassie Jo - Tofuscloset said ... (11:51 PM) :

Beautiful! I really must say that I love all the Sartorialist photographs. The photographs are just fantastic, with the background and the great clothes. They also show different personalities, and different minds. These people are so inspiring, and make clothing a more interesting thing! Super! Greetings from a big fan in Norway!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:04 AM) :

It´s interesting how everyone in this blog LOVES absolutely EVERYTHING. Almost never any critical comments. Why is that? For instance, these shoes look absolutely horrible, although the rest of her outfit is very elegant.
