That first outfit is absolutely adorable and so chic! The dark colors make it so understated while still having a big splash of sex appeal.

Anonymous Tatel said ... (9:11 AM) :

hey i can see my hair behind her right shoulder in the first shot.

I also shot her, she is so elegant!

Blogger Odin's Maven said ... (9:13 AM) :

Lovely - gamine *and* sophisticated. The jacket is perfect. And oh for such tidy pins! I'm really interested to see opaque hose paired with peeptoes and sandals more and more...once this would have been a very bad idea? And maybe still is, unless you the perfect combo of great shoes, expensive hosiery, killer legs and the right attitude!

Anonymous Ashley said ... (9:16 AM) :

i love their bangs, their bags and their shoes

Blogger Zarna said ... (9:17 AM) :

Anonymous suzanne nelson said ... (9:19 AM) :

Interesting. Can't decide whether this is an edgy pared down or if she mistakenly grabbed her dad's shirt instead of her Lanvin shift when she got dressed and rushed out the door...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:21 AM) :

beautiful legs!!!!

Blogger David said ... (9:22 AM) :

I like the way the legs and shadows of the top picture are reflected/ mirrored in the branches of the tree in the bottom pic

Anonymous Chloe said ... (9:25 AM) :

Wow, does anyone know who she is?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:26 AM) :

lvoe the elegance of the first pic, powerful stripes and the coolness and simple look of the second. Tellement beau!!!

Blogger Shaynuh said ... (9:26 AM) :

She looks very edgy in the first pic and a bit more casual in the second. The only thing I would change is the t-strap sandals to ankle boots. I think it would execute both looks better ;)

Blogger Jorge from W Palm Beach said ... (9:27 AM) :

If there's anything to be said about platform heels, is that they do wonders in making legs look longer. I wonder if this woman works for YSL, since both her purses are from there? Great outfits, very basic! The image of Carrie Bradshaw leaving Big's apartment wearing nothing but a crisp starched white shirt and an H belt is burned in my brain- the second photo brought it back. Jorge from WPB

Anonymous Erwan said ... (9:28 AM) :

The second look is fresh and simple. I like taht. And she have beautiful legs.

Blogger miss sophie said ... (9:31 AM) :

i LOVE the cut of her oversized shirt/tunic/dress. she definitely owns the look. and the first look is so chic and sexy!

Blogger stephanie-sarah said ... (9:32 AM) :

she's gorgeous! a good pair of black stockings and heels are indispensible!

Anonymous Bri said ... (9:32 AM) :

That is so beautifull. I love her sandals.

Blogger The Concrete Commentator said ... (9:38 AM) :

very simple style. I love her bags, and the over sized shirt she is wearing looks great on her. And she look so comfortable in both photos. Nice shots.

Blogger Amy M. Bowers said ... (9:39 AM) :

Love the second image. The masculinity of the top juxtaposed with the femininity of the bottom with the opaque tights. The volume on top with the thinness of her limbs. Such a clever outfit.

Blogger Christine said ... (9:39 AM) :

I love that stripet dress and the dress jacket over it!!!!

Blogger Unknown said ... (9:41 AM) :

Beautiful, you're right! Besides, she always looks terrific!

Clean and classy!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:01 AM) :

I love everything about the first picture: the stripes, the Ysl bag,the jacket, the shoes, the gym-chic allure of the mini. It's the French je ne sais quoi reloaded in a cuttin'edge super sexy look!

Blogger diane said ... (10:10 AM) :

I'm not going to disect these looks, they work, pure and simple.

Blogger JULES said ... (10:11 AM) :

i love black/blue. wish it could last forever (or until i get tired of it again)...

this woman has style. xo.

Blogger Fruchtzwerg said ... (10:30 AM) :

I might be totally wrong but she looks like Chi-Young Bang, an editor of the German Glamour. I could swear that I have seen her face there some time ago.

Anyway, I adore her outfits!

Blogger CW said ... (10:36 AM) :

The top look is great. However, the big untucked tunic/shirt in the second photo makes her look as if she forgot her skirt, or her pants.

Blogger Nikki - - Monomestile - - said ... (10:37 AM) :

This is absoloutely the kind of thing I find sexy. I mean, the balance and contrast of size and shape is just really beautiful.

Blogger Leoona said ... (10:43 AM) :

I love her bag! <3

Blogger Tristan said ... (10:43 AM) :

That 2nd pic is good, its like those lazy sundays in, when a girl is content to walk around in your shirt

Anonymous A chicette in Paris said ... (10:56 AM) :

Great looks, love blues and navy styling.

Kisses from Paris!

Blogger Brian said ... (11:07 AM) :

If that second pic was taken outside your apartment and that was your shirt she was wearing that morning, you would be a very luck man. She makes the "walk of shame" look positively stylish...

Blogger Patricia S. said ... (11:07 AM) :

Love the first look. Simply amazing! :)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:09 AM) :

Back from Paris a few days ago and her look was everywhere but she looks better than most.
By the way, at the airport, I picked up a copy of Madame Air France, and there was a wonderful, full page photo of you wearing a blue scarf.

Blogger Unknown said ... (11:10 AM) :

WOW!
i LOVE her style and her hair!
OMG it was so perfect!

Anonymous monalisa said ... (12:59 PM) :

1st photo - perfect.

Blogger - said ... (1:09 PM) :

love the heels xx

Blogger J. Cochran said ... (1:11 PM) :

A over-sized men's shirt is so sexy, and in this case, stylish.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:17 PM) :

I love this; so chic and the perfect amount of sexy.

What I couldn't help envying though is someone who gets to go to work showing so much leg. It must be a female dominated environment. I can't show a lot of leg, even in 100% opaque hosiery and with a loose jacket on top as she has in the top photo, without the men getting all twitchy and starey, things I avoid in a business environment.

I long for a job where this type of look is encouraged!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:02 PM) :

Her legs are really something, but im not too sure about the skirt in the first photo. I think it should be black. The second photo is great in my opinion!!

http://www.iloveleatherjackets.com

Blogger The Comet said ... (2:05 PM) :

This is the new way for women to dress.. effortless, clean, strong, graphic, masculine.. but it shows a bit of leg..

xxo HH

Anonymous Joy said ... (2:12 PM) :

Absolutely a YSL girl. Love the Tributes, the Muse and the Downtown. I would absolutely wear both of these outfits...LOVE HER!

Blogger Gaia said ... (2:41 PM) :

Blogger Shadan said ... (3:33 PM) :

i love the bf's shirt with the big bag!!!

go bold!

Anonymous suzanne nelson (again!) said ... (3:40 PM) :

It's informative reading all these comments. I think Anon. 1.17pm raises a good point about the second outfit, where this lady going? Is she going to meet some friends or her boyfriend? is she going to work? in a design studio? will she go to a meeting in this outfit? I think this lady is cool and stylish (great hair!) and the big bag is a perfect accessory for this look, i still can't help feeling she looks a little under-dressed. Help me someone! - am I OLD ?! (i've been 35 for 5 years now) I am too conservative? (small c, nothing political here...) am i hopelessly out of date ?? I'll even admit my mother is convinced i was a Duchess in a former life on account of my sartorial style... Sart, do you have any demographics on who reads your blog? i would be interested simply from a personal point of view. i like this blog because i feel i learn a lot both from Sart's photos and everyones' 2cents.

Blogger Kay said ... (3:56 PM) :

Wowww. I especially like the first outfit, I've never seen a woman wear an exposed zip skirt with so much sophistication

Blogger August Clothing said ... (4:07 PM) :

Love her style and approach. She looks classic, comfortable and modern.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:09 PM) :

she carries the second look well. it's not something that everyone can do..

Blogger Love + Cake said ... (4:19 PM) :

Very nice. I really like the second one. I'm into these oversized collar shirts being worn as dresses. It's a step up from the t-shirt dress.

Legs are in...

Blogger LRB said ... (4:28 PM) :

Her simple style is perfect. And that hair!

Anonymous Tandiz said ... (4:41 PM) :

I really loved that outfit
- pure elegance.

Blogger Brigadeiro said ... (4:42 PM) :

I'm SO in love with that 1st outfit! Those legs are killer! Absolutely gorgeous!
xx

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:42 PM) :

Gorgeous she looks fantastic in both pics, the oversize shirt looks great - good proportions. really love both pics!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:01 PM) :

um. the first photo is nice but the second -- WHAT is her outfit? it looks like she's wearing a bathrobe. not flattering at all. a shame, because she looks so great in the first shot. i just can't get on board with the olsen-twin outfit in the second.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:05 PM) :

that top photo, oh my. some people have the yummy. some have the sexy. she's got it all, summy yexy all the way.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:13 PM) :

les femmes asiatiques sont sexy!

Blogger Little Clementine said ... (5:20 PM) :

Oh, she's beautiful!
The top outfit is very clean and put together, but I'm in love with the 2nd photo.
She can really pull it off, I'm going to have to try that!

Blogger Hek said ... (6:02 PM) :

Clean, cool and chic!
My favourite 3 C's:)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:28 PM) :

fantastic legs! very thin though that need not be a requirement for beautiful legs, it's the shape of them and you can't fake that baby!
the clothing is short but well done, she's not giving it all away.

Anonymous holierthannow said ... (7:35 PM) :

i was at F21 today thinking about all those short jean shorts and what could possibly be next ... add that to Katy Perry and Lady Gaga never wearing pants ... and you have a choice of three Next Big Things

- micro mini skirts
- tap pants
- no pants

LOL (but im sort of serious)

Blogger gilty pleasure said ... (8:13 PM) :

love herrrr outfits

Blogger Unknown said ... (8:41 PM) :

AMB beat me to it...

These two looks are everything I love about Parisian fashion.

Blogger Unknown said ... (8:41 PM) :

how flatterning for the owner of the shirt, for her to be wearing it out with such style.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:01 PM) :

love the look! and she has quite the YSL bag collection

Blogger JustFern said ... (1:32 AM) :

i love the baggy top that looks so casual yet stylish!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:26 AM) :

Oh, she's fantastic! Does anyone know where she found that perfect striped top in the upper photo?? I've been seeking something similar for years!

Also, I doubt her second shirt is just any old random boyfriend's button-down; check out the seaming, the sleeves, and the size of the collar. I bet it's by one of the cool Japanese or Belgian designers...

Blogger Mademoiselle C. said ... (5:32 AM) :

Very elegant...

Blogger amalie said ... (8:27 AM) :

shes awesome , soo gorgeous!! x

Anonymous FVAD said ... (9:16 AM) :

& now, this is a woman, that's so self conscious about her body; what to reveal most, and how to boast it by silhouette... <3

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:18 AM) :

Legs indeed!
Love the YSL bags as well!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:50 AM) :

original

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:17 PM) :

She looks fabulous, but I too am curious about her work and living environment - I lived in Paris for years and gave up wearing short skirts while I was there because the unwelcome attention from lecherous men is so overwhelming. At home in Ireland the menfolk are much more discreet! ;-)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:20 PM) :

I love these looks. I actually have that oversized shirt. It's by a Parisian brand called Surface. And it's not a men's shirt either.

Blogger KONSHONCHLOE said ... (12:48 PM) :

me encanta su estilo, es muy muy cool, y ella es demaisado linda

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:27 AM) :

i own the shirt she's wearing in the second photo. it's designed for women in a very square, oversized shape. the sleeves and the seaming are what make it truly unique. French brand Surface 2 Air (love them).

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:31 PM) :

I would kill for her legs

Blogger Joy Mars said ... (2:21 PM) :

Is this a "Do" and "Don't" exercise?

I love, love, love the first pic. So chic, so Paris in the early Spring.

The second one, even though so many of the components are the same -- I'm not thrilled with.

Blogger Lucy in the Sky said ... (3:44 PM) :

These are my ideal wardrobes! I love her simple, yet chic style :) I wonder who is this gal...
