The fur collar in the first picture is so fantastic. While I've been longing for Spring, that beauty makes me wish it were cold for a little while longer.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:42 PM) :

Each outfit would be fabulous without the fur.

Blogger Maria del Mar said ... (5:44 PM) :

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:59 PM) :

Wow. I love the "blue" note to the french look this season. So classic and clean. And she looks GREAT. except for the wedding ring =(

Bob,
LA

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:06 PM) :

In the first picture the color of the jacket, the fur and her hair go perfectly together. Beautiful!

Blogger miss sophie said ... (6:08 PM) :

fur isn't my thing, but she wears it the way it should be worn - not too much, and in just the right shades.

Blogger Leopold Gloom said ... (6:12 PM) :

The simplicity of the white t-shirt with the texture and colour of the jacket in the first picture make it work for me. Er, that & the fact the wearer has that coy Carla Bruni thing going on.

Blogger Nik said ... (6:19 PM) :

I bet she's got a wonderful accessories collection at home... I even like the wedding rings!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:31 PM) :

Wow!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:00 PM) :

Both pictures are lovely, but that tweed jacket in the top photo is something special and it goes so well with her hair.

Blogger Maria said ... (7:04 PM) :

1st pic - sooo effortlessly chic! would have been nice with a scarf rather than fur though..

Blogger Brigadeiro said ... (7:07 PM) :

GORGEOUS! Especially the first pic! How does she make a fur collar so effortlessly chic? :)
xx

Blogger Bookworm said ... (7:11 PM) :

LOVE the first. So gorgeous! It just works--the coat, hair, bag....not a big fan of fur, though. ):

Blogger Victoria said ... (7:23 PM) :

I'm usually not a fan of fur, but she looks so fabulous with the fur scarf (top photo). I love the simplicity of her outfit, and topping it off with the blazer and the Chanel bag is very old English-prep and I love it!

Blogger kellywinonaoxford said ... (7:29 PM) :

the first outfit would be so boring without the fur!
the fur is perfectly placed, in both photos.

Anonymous Parisbreakfasts said ... (7:30 PM) :

the Milanese is a touch more casual and free than the Frenchie IMO
Nice contrast.

Anonymous RED said ... (7:40 PM) :

no matter how disturbed i am by the fur, i can't help but admit she looks amazingly put together in that first shot.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:42 PM) :

Beautiful fake fur. Have to respect the taste these ladies show AND have to respect their respect for animals.

Blogger Turtle said ... (8:21 PM) :

As Rachel Zoe would say... I die!

Blogger Alison Rowe said ... (8:24 PM) :

Although I prefer the overall look of the first photo, I'm struck by the rather original idea of fur with a leather motorcycle jacket...now I want to give it a try, too!

Always look forward to reading your posts :)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:32 PM) :

Hot damn, both photos.

Blogger Alice said ... (9:07 PM) :

Beauuuuutiful!

Blogger Joy Mars said ... (9:14 PM) :

I'm pretending they are fake fur.

Very nice!

Blogger That Chelsea Girl™ said ... (9:19 PM) :

Is that a fox-fur? It does compliment the outfit very well.

Blogger J.G. said ... (9:22 PM) :

what a gorgeous lady! I love her expression in the first photo.

Blogger Upper West Side Femme said ... (10:02 PM) :

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:15 PM) :

anyone know the jacket in the second photo? it's awesome!

Blogger Natalie J Monty said ... (10:25 PM) :

The furs are lovely accessories to her outfits. Darling. Though its a shame they're obviously real

Very Chic. This is perfect.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:28 AM) :

good mood and great first pic with the jacket with fur

Anonymous princess glee said ... (12:49 AM) :

A little fur goes a long way with style. Love how she keeps the fur collars tonal to her jackets. Must go somewhere where I can wear fur collars. Mine get very little use in LA.

Blogger George A. said ... (1:07 AM) :

Love the motorcycle jacket. Hate the fur! (I wish it were fake.)

Blogger noelakadjtambour said ... (1:23 AM) :

nice touch of luxury, a small swath of fur is better than a whole lot of it...lovely portraits

Blogger Shadan said ... (1:28 AM) :

chanel bag... mmmm

Blogger Carolina Enriquez Swan said ... (2:20 AM) :

I was sportin the fur collar this winter too! rad!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:23 AM) :

I thought Spring was knocking, why still the fur?

Anonymous suzanne nelson said ... (3:27 AM) :

Fur, like pearls, is very flattering next the skin. i like how these photographs show two completely different colours working equally well for the wearer. i love the cut of her jacket in the top pic too.

Anonymous Jacques said ... (4:12 AM) :

Dark brown trousers would've been better than black I'd say!
but she looks amazing, a beautiful lady.
Would love to see her shoes though.

Blogger Unknown said ... (4:20 AM) :

tres genial et so amazing, i love it FURever! Fiocco Orinoko

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:39 AM) :

so cute!!!

http://rebuscandoenelarmario.blogspot.com/

Blogger Oni said ... (8:29 AM) :

I like the first picture better than the second except it is too much fur. It looks uncomfortable like the fur is going to swallow her head.

Blogger mark lesser said ... (8:45 AM) :

Beautiful girl... can't get paste her face... I suppose the Jacket it nice.

Blogger Lucy said ... (8:53 AM) :

I love the first jacket... could it be Missoni?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:58 AM) :

love the relaxed pant in the top photo

Blogger J. Rene' said ... (9:40 AM) :

She is great! I love the jacket in the first pic, the fur is amazing with it! Great smile!

Anonymous Helena said ... (10:12 AM) :

where did she get those fur collars? I totally adore them...esp. the sliver fox....

Blogger tctnfeed said ... (12:18 PM) :

I love the whole look of the top photo. the outfit is perfect, but it really is about the women behind it that nails it. her confidance, her breezy casualness, and the warmth from her smile...this is what makes this so chic, timeless and original. great photo moment!

Blogger Alicia said ... (1:07 PM) :

I see this on my Chinese students often. It's practical and classic. In my opinion vintage furs are fine.

Blogger Daisy said ... (1:32 PM) :

Two great photos.

The color in those furs is amazing, the second one is almost pearly blue

Blogger Fannah said ... (1:59 PM) :

It's so darnn chic.

Blogger Violeta said ... (2:02 PM) :

I hope it's fake fur, because each outfit would be amazing without it.

Blogger veve said ... (2:31 PM) :

This is inspiring! Very simple twist to add to any outfit...:)

Blogger HeidiRob said ... (3:04 PM) :

They are not pictures of the same girl. Is the second picture Franka Potente?

Anonymous Erin said ... (3:52 PM) :

I love that the other parts of these ladies' outfits look as if they were going somewhere normal on any given day (if that is possible in Milan & Paris), and then threw something glamorous around their necks that make both ensembles swoon-worthy.

Browsing your website is encouraging me to throw caution to the wind when I dress each day (I live/work in the DC area and everything's so plain here). You only live once and you might as well have fun and look spectacular, even on a "normal" day.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:02 PM) :

They both look so natural, pretty and stylish! and, they're both wearing fake fur, which makes the look even better. Real fur is so out!!! out, out, out.

Anonymous fashionpersonality said ... (12:56 AM) :

More than Beautiful...
Love the fur on her!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:31 AM) :

She is so classic and the fur is beautiful.
(fur is the same as leather, so if you 'refuse to wear real fur' you are also against leather...)

Blogger Amra said ... (11:55 AM) :

Love the first outfit really much. Love the bag and the coat especially.

Blogger Jack Daniel said ... (10:45 PM) :

Are these the same ladies? Both outfit in these pics are looking very good!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:13 AM) :

She is gorgeous in both shots! The fur adds a touch of luminosity that is perfect. I don't think it has to be real fur in order to look good.

Blogger D.K said ... (12:56 AM) :

O.M.G

Lovely wow. just wow (dot)

Blogger ylebedeva said ... (5:16 AM) :

absolutely adorable, looks very neat. great photos

Blogger Shaynuh said ... (12:46 PM) :

Love the fur scarves! <3

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:47 PM) :

The leather jacket is Yigal Azrouel - he does the BEST leather.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:36 PM) :

the fur on these girls looks amazing... who cares if its rel when it looks like that... better on them im thinking... and loving the tweed jacket also !

Blogger Ms. Arawiran said ... (9:38 PM) :

Great outfit. It just shows that girls need not reveal skin to look fabulous :D

Anonymous LOGOS said ... (1:11 PM) :

That is how fur should be worn, demure, not in a crazy 'i shot a bear and threw it on' j'lo way

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:59 PM) :

what a doll.

Blogger melur said ... (1:52 AM) :

oh my if I were them, I'd definitely wear them during bedtime! LOL

Love it sooo sooo much!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:50 PM) :

fur: guácala!!!!!!

Blogger Sandra said ... (1:35 PM) :

I love the top one, fur in itself is not a bad thing its how you get it, if its simply butchering the animal for its skin then I do not approve but if it didn't suffer and used afterward for their meat or something I don't mind.
I just love the top one and her jacket is great too :)
