Gorgeous!!

What a pretty girl and terrific photograph!
Still, I see no signs that there are buttons in Australia ... *sigh*.
Stunning.
great picture!!!
It could be a painting, except for this joyful holiday sky :)
beautiful!
Angelical!
Angelic & striking...beautiful!
xx
Great design! Perfect mix of colours: the red hair with that blue!
Love the light and the expression of the pic!
something about the lighting and the girl's expression/hand gesture makes this look almost religious. her blouse (dress?) is beautiful, and i love how the cornflower blue goes with her red hair and pale skin.
She touches my heart, so ethereal!!
Great shading!
lovely
Angelic! Love the orange on blue, and that dress/top!
I keep your page open on my tabs and love refreshing it to see something new each day.

Beautiful. I love the simplicity, the color blue on her, and especially her bare face and hair. Natural beauty to be sure.
she's beutiful and the color of her hair!!! wow

I am loving your use of the colour of our skies as an amazing backdrop for your pix. I can't get enough of your pix from Sydney... when will we see more, more more?

http://www.styleanthem.blogspot.com
I love everything! Everything is amazing and beautiful! Wowzas!
romantic and other worldly..beautiful..
Love this shirt/dress/whatever. The color works so nicely with her skin and ginger hair. And god how I dig the freshness of naked freckles.
She is an escaped angel... a nun doubting her faith... an elf from the down underworld.
She's Tilda Swinton's secret love child.
not to be overly redundant, but... gorgeous!
Congratulations for this beautiful, angelical, gorgeous, lovely photo!
Magic.
Scott, you have captured Sydney's Autumnal light perfectly in these last 2 shots.
Extraordinarily beautiful. I want to keep looking at this forever.
So very....Vermeer!
very Bergmanesque..
xxo HH
Love the gig bands on her arm..
I just watched your Age interview Scott, I knew I shouldn't have.. your face and voice are no longer a mystery to me I'm not yet sure how I feel about this!
You've gotta get out of the harbour and into the inner west/eastern suburbs..
great picture as always ...
hands down most favorite of your photos.
This reminds me of the the photo of a girl named Mariora called "Blind Faith" that was used as the cover for the band of the same name's eponymous album.
Not only her hair and complexion, but the element of innocence and possibility in the picture.
This is such a lovely photograph. It portrays to me a sense of beautiful serenity and calmness...well done.
Hooray - some Australian correspondence. Look at that beautiful blue sky. Can y'all believe it is mid autumn here in Oz?
Fantastic, this is such a beautiful picture and the colors are so complementary, I came back to look at this picture more than once. It's so calming.
For some reason, I sense the entirely of Australia's history in this girl...
?
Go Sart! Sydney's starting to rub off on you now & you can feel the vibe!
the colours are simply divine in this photograph.
i wonder what she's looking at?
I love the contrast of the red hair with the blue shirt/sky. ps i just started my own blog check it out:dashing-lee.blogspot.com
Ahhh... its perfect!
such a beautiful picture.
Her hair pops!
An angel has come down from heaven to bless us with her presence.
Exquisite!
gorgeous shot. by the way, this is a dress by therese rawsthorne. i believe it is called the 'illusionist' dress.
She's beautiful.... love the orange/red hair! how old is this girl? how do these kids these days look so stylish... I wore overalls into my pre-teens!
Yay! I'm so glad to see you've finally come to Sydney!
Beautiful and natural.
What a gorgeous picture.
A beautiful mix. Naturally beautiful x
For some reason, most of your pictures of red hairs are incredibly striking. This is gorgeous. I especially like the shirt/blouse, beautiful!
Energie
what a lovely shot, very evocative
She's like Anne Shirley with those puffed sleeves.
I agree with Patricia, you have to check out the Aussie Fashions in Bondi and on Oxford Street!!!!!!! I'm sure that you fashion engagements have you hovering close to the Opera House/Bridge but that's where you need to hang out as well!!!!
red hait is amazing, i have so i know! lol and the face is so fresh and young, captivated! the shape of the look is great
Isn't Sydney and its people just beautiful in Autumn...I say this as a Sydney-sider - no bias whatsoever ;)
The colors together are absolutely divine! To have that unique hair color alone makes this picture stand out ten fold.
She's beauty. Lovely face with a fired amazing hair. I loved her suit!
this is beautiful, great colours!
Her name is Georgia, and she is the most beautiful young woman! xox
I bet when she wakes she eats rose petals on toast with tulip butter.
And when she gets home she gently unfolds her wings that have been hidden inside her clothes.
She is an angel?
For me this image has a Botticelli, Renaissance feel. it's stunning. Has The Sartorialist just discovered the next new Prada model??
No one has yet caught what looks like a hospital band on her wrist...adds an air of fragility.
Go Gee Gee!
pretty girl!
love it!
scott you are amazing. this shot is just wow.
I love the pose she's taking (is "pose" the right word? I mean her general position on the picture). Very good picture and original angle.
Great photo!
look at the curve of her neck, on the left, my eyes just keep tracing it.
Very Arts and crafts...X
she's a van gogh.
gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous. the blue sky! the blue harbour! the blue clothes! the almost orange skin & the definitely orange hair!
I love it.
It is strange how in real life the comments and reactions about red hair are mostly negativ.
Waow. This is so beautiful. Merci pour toute cette beauté. I love your pictures !
It is so lovely!!!I like her red hair!
She is a gorgeous girl
i cant believe that noone has noticed her hospital tag! Is she in her gown?
its these little things that amaze me with you sart just the things that you capture
Splendide ... il y a comme un je-ne-sais-quoi de "début d'une nouvelle ère"
What a beautiful shot!
http://fendmagazine.com/
She is about 13 and the daughter of a Sydney based stylist.
She is beautiful! I saw her around the fashion pack earlier at the overseas passenger terminal with her Mum. Can't help but wonder how she will contribute to the industry with all this exposure she has at such a young age..
what an absolutely AMAZING picture Sart, with that pop of red against the blue sky. and the sleeves. Stunning
i have just been reading these comments about myself and they are so nice. As i am the 14 year old in the picture. Thank you XX All so lovely......Xx
Gg
The Rocks is such a beautiful place to take snaps. (:
I absolutely love Circular Quay.
Hope you're having a lovely time!
X.
I love blue bright sky.
Prefect combination nature sky and this gorgeous girl shot together. :))
That is very nice, Mr. Sartorialist.
Exquisite contrast between her red hair and the blue sky. Sigh. I miss blue skies...we had one here once in Scotland. 1983 I think it was...
who is that girl?.... she is incredible!!!
Lovely. The proportions really work. She reminds me of Jane Frame.
the color is amazing in this photo. and that girl looks great.
WOW, my hometown is looking good - even though I am now very far, Sydney is always in my heart... thank you for the artful pics and this girl's dress really rocks! The pose, the light, her colouring, everything is lovely...
http://ifoundsometreasure.blogspot.com/
She looks ethereal...
She needs a calculator watch
beautiful :> she looks a bit like Barbie´s little sister Skipper :>
Really hideous
True blue Australian.
botticelli angel..?
i like how yhte opera house is out of focus behind her. in focus i think it would have spoiled the ethereal fantasy vibe
Ooh, this is nice, scott.
gosh... this is just amazing... i keep getting this vibe from her of a sense of inner peace. she just looks so angelic... great shot! please check out my blog http://framestheworld.blogspot.com/
This does look like a painting. Very romantic. Very classic painting meets modern setting and modern girl--love her wristbands. Looks like she's been to some concerts, like any good teenager should!
There is just something about red heads.... anyone with me?
http://fendmagazine.com/
She's so beautiful
je l'adore! magnifique!
its an interesting take on Madonna-like image.
Gorgeous shot!
Hope you're enjoying Sydney!
G G , you look beautiful as always.. +
Is that a hospital bracelet on her right arm? That would explain the hospital gown.
I'd say the wrist tag is for entry to Sydney Fashion Week, where the shot was taken.
Your photography is eclipsing the fashion.
Maybe you were Vermeer in a past life.
Ron: I would never have seen the hospital thing, but now that you mention it, the suggestion adds to her angelic-ness, as do her sleeves. The opera house in the background looks like heavenly wings. And she's praying.
It takes a beyond-lucky photographer to capture something like this. Or a great director.
This is on a ferry not a street!
But very pretty.
You should really come in January, Sydney has much more eclectic summer fashion.
Facially this girl could be 12.
Extraordinary!
she reminds me of the young woman from "six feet under" sitcom.
both spiritual beautiful!
claire fisher, is that you?
my dream what to have red hair
there aren't enough red headed and frecklefaced people in the United States. Seems like there many in the 70s and in the 80s they all seemed to have bleached their hair to blond and covered up the freckles. It's too bad, I always thought it was so nice to see a variety of people.
I constantly fall in love with the women in your pictures... you have an eye for beauty that goes beyond what they're wearing and lets us see right inside their souls.
This would make a great oil painting. Timeless.
Love the color of her hair and her dress...simple but amazing. All in all, nicely captured.
she looks as though she cannot contain the moment any longer and is getting ready to burst into song.
This photograph transcends fashion. It is just stunning. The light! I would hang it on my wall as art.
She is like a Venetian saint.
The blue colors perfectly compliment her pretty hair. lovely
This is absolutely breathtaking. And what's more intriguing is that at first it's hard to tell if she's a young girl, or young woman. She is dressed so maturely. Wow...
And I am reminded of Vermeer as well...
surreal..straight out of an old movie :) great shot!
Whats with the ginger?
Wonderful!
hope....
She transends age.
Scott, how did you find taking photographs in the harsh and brilliant Australian light? Its so different to that in North America and Europe. I'd be interested to read about that!
Angelic messenger of style !
Amen!
Philippe

Love the light and the expression of the pic!

future top model! she is stunning!
Get a load of the ginga.
this is a very powerful image. evocative. the hair, the face, the flow, the hands. especially the hands. that works for me best.
blue and ginger? as if she had a choice.
Great design! Perfect mix of colours: the red hair with that blue!
Love the light and the expression of the pic!
This is a future model.
