I dont think I had ever seen a red striped shirt used in this manner, I think it is a bold yet rewarding statement. As always, love the way his suit jacket lines echo those of his overcoat. Other than the color of the shirt, this is a classic ensemble, to be sure, but always in style! Jorge from W Palm Beach

Love the cinched waist

Blogger The Concrete Commentator said ... (9:25 AM) :

great shot. Nice fitted coat.

Blogger David said ... (9:31 AM) :

beautiful, beautiful coat.

Blogger UES boy said ... (9:35 AM) :

Hmm, I don't know if I would try the red striped shirt thing...but I'm thinking about it more, now!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:44 AM) :

Love the way his eyes also laugh!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:54 AM) :

How do you look at this picture and not grin right back? A wonderful example of attitude being everything... then again, I suppose you could argue that being beautifully groomed and dressed encourages a very positive attitude!

Anonymous modediktat said ... (10:01 AM) :

ooooooooooh, watching his laugh is making my heart smile, too.... :)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:14 AM) :

that is one well fitted jacket!
His confidence and smile is what really sells this look for me though he wears his look so confidently

Blogger june said ... (10:18 AM) :

everything is immaculate -- the peek of red/white, the navy tie, the flawless cut of the coat... the smile! i love this!

Blogger KD said ... (10:28 AM) :

Please let us see the shoes next time. Otherwise great shot.

Blogger Laura said ... (10:30 AM) :

Blogger CW said ... (11:33 AM) :

Excellent business style! Isn't this one of the Marzottos of the fabric mills?

Blogger Zara said ... (11:44 AM) :

impeccable fit. he looks so good!

Anonymous suzanne nelson said ... (11:53 AM) :

What a handsome and well-dressed gentleman! Beautifully cut coat. I think pin-sripe shirts are rather dashing. I want to live in Milan - does everyone always look so good?

Blogger norawoah said ... (11:54 AM) :

I think his smile is his best accessory. To many well dressed people tend to look Too Cool, but this man looks like he loves life!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:14 PM) :

Great silhouette this guy has--you photographed him before. If he is not, he should definitely be a model. Great shot, Sart!

Anonymous princess glee said ... (12:32 PM) :

His curly hair and unrestrained smile are delightful. The combo of the shirt, tie and cardigan make a cheerful picture. The coat is a delicious brown that suits well with the brown shoes. I'm afraid to say that I don't like the coat's length and fit.

Blogger louise and nivaldo de lima said ... (12:42 PM) :

There's nothing nicer than a lovely smile!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:30 PM) :

Wow!! The coat is a knockout!! It has the best fit seen on this site yet. The shirt is fantastic as well and perfectly frames his very handsome face.

Blogger PrincessSteph said ... (1:47 PM) :

He is gorgeous! That pink shirt is delightful and he is just adorable. I love it. It made my day.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:18 PM) :

Gorgeous formal outfit in the bottom photo - love the coat especially, is cut brilliantly to flatter the guy's shape without clinging too much to the suit.

Blogger Red said ... (8:18 PM) :

this is a really great look. nice looking man and nice looking clothes. this goes real smooth to the eye.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:56 PM) :

Yes. It all fits him, nothing is gapping or hanging out or straining at the fastenings. Very nice.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:16 PM) :

I lust to have a jacket with that wonderful cut and fit and the restrained colour with the pop of colour is wonderful. I want to be him or at least be his best friend.

Blogger thestyleadvisor said ... (9:35 PM) :

This is how an overcoat is supposed to fit!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:49 PM) :

This is a photo that represents why I visit your blog daily. This (as opposed to the fake fur coat guy) provides me with style inspiration for tomorrow. Thank you.

Blogger said ... (10:21 PM) :

Too lovely.

Blogger tofuscloset said ... (10:43 PM) :

what a beautiful smile he has

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:46 AM) :

I much prefer this type of subdued elegance than the mix and match extravaganza we have seen recently being paraded as genius in dress.

Blogger Gil said ... (4:55 AM) :

As always Matteo Marzotto is dressed stylishly and impeccably with just the right dash of flair. This man should definately be on the Best dressed List if he is not already.

Blogger Olviya said ... (6:49 AM) :

he is perfectly dressed.
may be even too much?

Anonymous Michelle said ... (7:01 AM) :

This look is the complete package. For me the guy makes it. If he didn't have that sparkle in his eyes, and cheeky smile the red shirt would be a lot more flatter.

Brilliant composition by both dresser and photographer!

Anonymous Lytanie said ... (8:55 AM) :

mmmmmmmmmm I love this smile!!!
So charming.......

Anonymous whedda said ... (9:25 AM) :

He looks like a young David Hasselhoff :) Like the outfit..

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:31 AM) :

impecable style

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:58 AM) :

Finally, a photo of a man who looks and dresses like a man!
Thank you.

Anonymous greying pixie said ... (11:12 AM) :

This is not the first time you have shown a photo of Signor Marzotto and his warm wonderful smile. But when are you going to photograph his equally attractive mother, Marta Marzotto? She is, without doubt, a perfect example of a bird of paradise.

Blogger travelbug said ... (12:58 PM) :

Fabulous. Only in Italy. The shirt rocks. The brown of the overcoat is perfect with the red. The choice of a black tie is brilliant.

Wow. Ruff!

Blogger gyllenspetz said ... (2:25 PM) :

Clean cut, love it!Is it a scarf i spot on the inside?

Blogger Lindalov said ... (6:37 PM) :

No way! I like him soooooo much.... :-D Kisses, LL

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:59 AM) :

Great combo. love the red shirt + navy tie + gray suit/vest + brown overcoat. And the winsome smile!

Blogger tiziana said ... (7:49 AM) :

He's always so elegant, excellent!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:34 PM) :

very elegant and classic outfit (awesome coat), but the red stripped shirt contrasted with the navy tie takes it to another level. also, the fit of everything he's wearing is superb.

Blogger Massimo said ... (8:16 PM) :

....just a little cut of the hair and he could be perfect!!! Yeahh!! Marzoto!

Blogger Milo Beloved said ... (8:40 PM) :

It is like David Hasslehoff, but attractive and well dressed.

Blogger Raul said ... (10:10 AM) :

Well put together. Even go so far as to say that the rolled up mag plays well...

Blogger Keith said ... (9:38 AM) :

Great picture. I really like what he's wearing. Plus it's wonderful to see him smile.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:02 PM) :

Great one, sart!

Anonymous ghazi said ... (10:35 PM) :

Most certainly yes! I wish I could see more of the shoes but let have a guess...Brown suede? That should be a total knock out!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:32 PM) :

it's a case of dress beautifully and they'll notice the man...

sexy smile/eyes

Blogger angie said ... (4:56 PM) :

Met him yesterday at a business meeting in Milan: he's laidback, a great professional and definitely has the most captivating smile I've ever seen in my life!

Blogger james said ... (7:12 AM) :

i belive that shirt is indeed gingham and not stripe?
Anyway he looks great here you have a classic example to all those men who like to do the city look and have a "bit of flair" of how not to overdo it a retain a sense of the understated.. this shirt along with the soft brown fabric of the (herringbone?) coat gives it a slightly softer intellectual twist in my mind.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:29 PM) :

Simply usual!
Who is his taylor?

Anonymous Striped shirts said ... (6:20 AM) :

What a great look. I have 2 striped shirts just like this and a nice jacket but I can never look that good!
