first

-- very stylish.. I'd wear a pair of brown shoes though ;)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:00 PM) :

love her shoes.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:02 PM) :

Oh my god! Just look at all the dimensions of black!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:05 PM) :

that is a WICKED duffel.
that man looks warm.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:08 PM) :

Forget him! I want her shoes!

Blogger Tristan said ... (5:12 PM) :

No one wears black as well as New Yorkers...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:27 PM) :

The girl behind him called more my attention!

Blogger the november princess said ... (5:29 PM) :

I can't stop staring at the woman to the right's shoes.

Blogger Mitch said ... (5:58 PM) :

Never considered putting a down vest over a bomber--it works here.

Blogger Brett Johnson said ... (5:59 PM) :

This guy's my boy

Blogger diane said ... (6:24 PM) :

I love the fringe bag!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:31 PM) :

Her shoes are fabulous. At first glance, I thought he was carrying the brown bag in his left hand! :)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:38 PM) :

love the girl's outfit (minus the bag)

true though, the guy certainly does look warm...as he should with both a leather jacket on and a quilted vest

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:52 PM) :

Really interesting combination - straight down the line with the monochrome formalwear paired with the black leather bag/gloves/shoes, but shaken up a bit with the bodywarmer.

I think the overall effect is great - both stylish and practical.

Blogger Hannah said ... (7:05 PM) :

@ Tristan: possibly Melburnians in Victoria, Australia! Black is our state's uniform. :-)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:36 PM) :

My man! King of the fashion world!

Dont no body know!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:43 PM) :

nice touch of UNDERSTATED Vouitton black 24 Hours bag carried by the guy.Great composition of the grey pavement and the black

Blogger Joy Mars said ... (7:47 PM) :

He looks so comfortable and confident I can't help but wonder WHAT'S IN THE BAG?

Louboutins on the woman? I want them NOW!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:48 PM) :

I have often been tempted to wear a vest over a jacket/blazer....but never trusted myself because I really am not creative. Then HE appeared and I LOVE IT !!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:03 PM) :

Love the vest over bomber and who knew an all black look could have so much depth to it.

Blogger Alida said ... (8:18 PM) :

Her shoes are fierce, and like the belted coat and her glasses. Her pants however are a different story.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:20 PM) :

Okay, he looks fine. But what about her, in the background? Great shoes, really interesting bag, lovely coat and belt, really cool scarf, and great hair and glasses. She looks great.

Sorry, what guy?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:23 PM) :

Bulletproof Banker !

Blogger CANI DESIGN said ... (8:35 PM) :

ysaa

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:34 PM) :

i always thought that quilted vests were anything but sophisticated

warm, but not stylish. i always thought that it could single-handedly ruin an outfit

this guy certainly challenges my preconceptions

great pic!

Blogger James Jean said ... (9:48 PM) :

I'm loving the girl's look too....Do I smell Louboutin??

Blogger Happyretro said ... (10:12 PM) :

A tie and a puffer jacket - very stylish. I want her shoes.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:16 PM) :

does anyone know what kind of duffel that is?

Blogger Ron said ... (10:21 PM) :

She's the story.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:27 PM) :

agree with everyone noticing the stylish femme to his left - that coat with the belt and the contrast of the shoes (to say nothing of the glasses) is so chic.

Blogger DEYN said ... (11:09 PM) :

wow now that's a very nice duffel bag and that gal is rockin' the fringe and that Christian Louboutin ...so sexy

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:11 PM) :

is that... the vision?

Looking great as usual, and rounding out the Sart/PRL love affair...

Blogger Lost & Found said ... (11:12 PM) :

can we please just take a moment and pause and reflect no the beautiful Christian Louboutins on her... wowza
and the bag.. it's too much, terribly wonderful that she is in the background and not the foreground.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:15 PM) :

they're louboutins!!

python, i believe

Blogger Jack Daniel said ... (11:20 PM) :

Is this still taken during NYC fashion week?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:08 AM) :

I don't know which of them looks sharper.

I do know I love her torn jeans with her otherwise very polished look.

Blogger Sharon said ... (12:23 AM) :

how perfect are both bags. and her SHOES

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:32 AM) :

ahh shes in some of my classes at parsons

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:21 AM) :

Her outfit is great (espacially her shoes!)

Blogger Ellie Lee said ... (3:40 AM) :

I actually prefer the lady more! LOVE her shoes; of course! And her jeans! So perfect!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:50 AM) :

love the mood, the elegance and her shoes!!!

Blogger ikbennoelia said ... (6:44 AM) :

The guy looks completely amazing, but... look at her... her fringe bag, those glasses, HER SHOES, the maxi belt... I would go on my knees for a fashionista like her! Bravo!

Blogger tizzylish said ... (7:24 AM) :

I think the man in the photo is carrying the new Louis Vuitton bag that Sophia Coppola designed. looks great!!

http://wwwfuzzyland.blogspot.com/

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:51 AM) :

Shoes are Louboutin snake skin
Bag prada

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:54 AM) :

Both look great, his bag and vest do it for me.

And her shoes are great, same for the jacket and belt.

OK, this is boring but.... how long can a woman stand walking in shoes such as hers in NY?? What's the pain level?? An innocculation?? Root canal?? They gotta be calf builders...

No offense, she's a knockout, just wondering??

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:03 AM) :

He would certainly turn my head!--but agreed would prefer brn shoes and some interesting socks.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:10 AM) :

Love his look, cool, stylish and young and still professional...great combo of tone on tone blacks...could see a different pair of shoes with this outfit.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:59 AM) :

John Vizzone and his daughter

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:19 AM) :

This dude is "Sport chic".

Nice mix and it's all about the "2 days bagagerie "

La finesse.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:44 AM) :

I love the outfit on the girl in the background!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:47 AM) :

Has anybody an idea where to find his black bag/holdall? Thanks...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:47 AM) :

BAG IS FROM LOUIS VUITTON ITS CALL THE OVERNIGHT

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:16 PM) :

LEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:48 PM) :

If this is--as someone stated--a man and his daughter, it gives an insight into the evolution of personal style. The gentlemen has dressed according to his own likes and needs--a sign of mature creativity. The girl, charming as she may be, is all about what's trendy.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:00 PM) :

I agree with Anon @8:54. I also live in the city, but I can't handle heels all day long, with both the commute and the office. I normally change into cute, colorful flats for the subway/walk home. Do any of you women manage to go ALL day in your heels, from home to work to home? I need to know if I'm a wuss.

That said, I LOVE his bag and her shoes are great.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:07 PM) :

Lea Vizzone is the most stylish young women I know! At the age of 19 she should be trendy and play with fashion! That's what being young is all about!

LEA is FIERCE!!!

Blogger Lauren Rosenblum said ... (2:25 PM) :

I love the woman on the right - the glasses, coat, shoes! Stunning. But the guy in the foreground... I don't know. I just can't abide by puffy vests!

Blogger Jazzbuff630 said ... (2:35 PM) :

Killer duffel! I want it!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:15 PM) :

the vest over the leather bomber looks good ... I should do this look , but it's already too hot here in italy to wear a vest over a leather jacket !!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:03 PM) :

I don't understand puffer vests. They remind me of bulletproof vests, very CIA or KGB. If I ever require secret service protection, I'd like the men to look very polished and high-end like this gentleman.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:50 PM) :

In Italy every other guy wears a quilted vest over their Prada/Armani suits...but over a leather jacket....ummmmm, i don´t think so. It's the contrast what makes the look work.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:09 PM) :

Anon 8:23 PM: Agreed. Very good thing these days too.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:45 PM) :

i like the lady in the background as well.

at first i thought he was holding her bag.

Blogger Carissa Rose said ... (9:19 PM) :

He looks like a member of the Gestapo, a warm member of the Gestapo.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:47 AM) :

I need that Prada fringe bag

Blogger Unknown said ... (3:10 AM) :

I can't imagine somebody actually dressing like these two. I mean it is incredible how well and effortlessly the both look. I always wondered what these people do professionally do actually afford such luxuries. It may be a guy thing but seriously I don't understand how a girl can wear a pair of $1000 Loubs and for it to be a normal day. Sometimes being rich do have their moments...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:30 AM) :

Did you happen to snap the girl in the background? She jumps out at me and steals the show!

Blogger spring flowers said ... (12:41 PM) :

omg... i love those shoes.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:43 PM) :

oh man...please not that shoes..pick one of the black best boot u have!

Blogger achnyc said ... (5:55 PM) :

She caught my attention first - love the bag, the belted coat, the glasses. So professional, so chic!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:58 AM) :

good for him! i'm bored by black though and would rather see him holding the feather purse....

Blogger JonathanUribe said ... (12:26 AM) :

I to was taken with the ladies shoes. And decided all this guesswrok needed to end. Here they are, Neiman Marcus has them here:

http://www.neimanmarcus.com/store/catalog/prod.jhtml;jsessionid=CCI4JBMYVUPVICQAAKTRACY?itemId=prod75670047&ecid=NMALRFeedJ84DHJLQkR4&ci_src=14110925&ci_sku=X0BB7

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:04 AM) :

those shoes are incredible. im in love. i also adore what she has going on around her neck.. how on earth did she arrange her scarf (pashmina?) so fabulously? kind of love the rips in her jeans too. makes it look less polished and more interesting.

i like the gentleman's leather gloves and his man-bag. if he had been carrying the fringe/feather purse that would have been an absolute hoot!

again, great job finding these two!

Blogger Elise said ... (1:01 AM) :

love her shoes and her bag.

Blogger Unknown said ... (6:57 PM) :

Ok folks, John is the lead designer for Ralph Lauren and that's his daughter as someone else pointed out. This is why they are impossibly chic. I dated him in college and his nickname was "GQ John". We had no idea how right we had it.

Blogger trevor said ... (1:48 AM) :

Hahah Thats my best friends dad and his sister. And my other best friends girlfriend.
