Comments on "On the Street......Dries Skirt, NYC"
ahhh, i love everything Dries
I really like that a lot. love the coat, and that colorful skirt..very nice!
thats a nice skirt
I'm an absolute fan of DVN's FW08 collection with its gorgeous orbis prints (I'll be wearing one such dress tomorrow!). This skirt, outfit, girl, picture is just PERFECTION! Love love love!
Oh, she looks heavenly. I love the way the slightly folky vibe of her outfit contrasts with the urban greys and grids. Love, too, the yellow cuffs picking out the bright colours in her skirt.
Gorgeous. Love everything about this.
Gorgeous!! She looks stunning with her lovely skirt and besides, the panties make her look very elegant...great choice!!

j'aime ça! The balance of colour and texture is beautiful.
Hi, I'm a Norwegian medical student that writes my own blog about life as a medical student, travelling etc. I saw your blog through a spread in a Norwegian newspaper last week. I've today written about it on my blog and linked to your blog :D I think you have a great blog and I like it very much and have now become a big fan of yours within a very short period of time. I wish you a wonderful weekend. =)

Gorgeous skirt! but show me something by Dries van Noten that isn't sublime... Tad too much black in the whole ensemble for my taste although i love the touch of bright yellow and her bracelets.
chic!
Simply Adorable!
I love Dries and I adore the sudden little touch of yellow. Beautifully balanced :)
Oh....Scott...this is lovely!
And the weather is SO GOOD!
Also here in Amsterdam. I love spring!
Really nice picture.

she's a beautifull girl with a great style. i like the way she uses colours und patterns
She really knows what she's doing. Minus the furry vest and the yellow cuffs, the outfit would be way too safe, almost hearkening back to the 1980s Dress for Success look. Those two additions elevate it to something original and creative. There's a lot to learn from here.
I love each piece from head to toe... and she put them together perfectly. =)
I love it, ugh. Dries is amazing!
v pretty. I love the yellow of the sleeves peeking from the coat. I like the whole ensamble
Im jealous I wish I could replicate that look on the cheep!
love how she paired it with the fur vest
This outfit is Awesoem!
You took fantastic photos for Glamour.. Yes, I saw them ;) They're great! As ever..
Oh, I LOVE that skirt.
The richness of the colors, superb.
DVN can do no wrong.
the yellow bits, so rad.
i love everything about her ... smart hair and smart face and amazing legs. gorgeous.
the yellow cuffs is what really does it for me... tougher for a man to accomplish something like that I think--maybe with socks perhaps (i'm business-dress during the week)... *Note: having trouble not feeling "put on" when wearing more fun socks to conservative workplace
DVN's stuff is wonderful. Elegant, playful, witty and original....and really wearable for women of all ages.
The vest makes this ensemble IMO. Take it off and it's a nice outfit, leave it on and nice becomes sublime.
What are the yellow cuffs? Is that a long-sleeve shirt? Crazy!... in the best of ways.
Monique.... (Why can't I be me instead of anonymous?....Not meant as a existential examination. This wanky comment box won't do what it usually does.)
it must be said: the almost inconspicuous yellow sleeves are my favourites. and the bracelet(?) on her right arm is fantastic. really nice way to add some colour! (aside from the skirt i mean)
wonderful, amazing!
I find inspiration in all of these outfits, even those I dislike. I'm a full time student and have made a school uniform of slim jeans and an oversized white tee shirt. friends congratulate me on sticking to this and relying on accessories and shoes to make it an outfit but let me tell you, I would love to be able to wear silk blouses , dresses and fabulous shoes and show off a little leg now and agaiin.
in short, Sart, keep don' it.
all the best!

Love all the layers and colors! Beautiful!

I love the skirt, it's beautiful. I wonder where she got it?
This great picture shows that DVN's projects amazingly beautifully work on the streets.
Wooo hooo, yaay! She moved beyond all over black and arrived at a fresh look with a lot of impact. The skirt's print is bangin'. Good to see a print used as a pop of color.
Monique thanks for letting us know which comment was yours. After submitting my comment I usually check to see what you have to say, as well as Jorge from WPB, Suzanne Nelson, sallymandy, Jack Daniel, issey???, and a few others I can't think of right now.
i love the way she complimented the skirt with a touch of yellow and fur.

Great look, even better shot. Love the contrast between her and the building--thosee scotch tape grid window patterns are the perfect background for any picture.
cute, love the layers
i couldn't praise this style better than sallymandy did.
love everything about this look except the yellow undershirt...her wrists arrive before she does and take the eye away from her magnificent skirt and coat
perfect from head to toe! when i was in antwerp, the women wore no makeup and marvelous clothes like her! just lovely...
I love the total look! yellow brazelets and pullover make the look even better xl
She designed an evolving experience. It is just so satisfying and fluid.
who needs a clutch when you've got your palm? so ny
The entire photo is the fashion.
The building in back it the star. A plaid building. The upside of NYC.
Amazing skirt! Love the blend of colors.
She's got such a fab, fab style!
Superb look, inspiring on so many levels.
woow!!
So chic
lovely styling!
The yellow sleeves only makes the skirt more beautiful!
i remember her
the gentle one, yes?
IKKS fur, no ?
Best street style blog- bravo!
sisters with chinatown from feb 19? both amazing.
i adore this outfit..from the shoes to the hair..she's amazing!
that is the same girl from chinatown!
You know what makes me squeal? The hint of orange lining(?) on the reverse of the fur vest.
so cute!
I love the very warm combination of colours, the silhouette, and how this look seems comfortable and...I don't know....compact(!?)
...and the shoes...
She is so cuty and lovely. Really angle like face:-) she has good color combination. Especially the black is balanced well in the top and the bottom. Really cute.
