Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:05 AM) :

She is adorable. Was there ever a time when Parisians didnt wear scarves? I am kind of sick of it.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:08 AM) :

Oooooooh, how much I love this picture!!
She is soooo beautiful! What a wonderful laugh!
And the sun is shining through her hair.
Master picture!

love her happiness!! nice pashmina, it looks great on her.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:24 AM) :

she's cute

Blogger John Rowbie said ... (9:25 AM) :

A young Carla Bruni - very beautiful, elegant and chic. A very natural smile as if he is giggling and enjoying the moment. Normally I would study what she is wearing, however, in this instance, her natural beauty surpassed her outfit. Lovely to wake up to such a wonderful picture.

Blogger Adriana Ximenes said ... (9:33 AM) :

Love the scarf and the style of combinations ...
And also like the picture of happiness ...
Smile is part of life!

I love her straw purse with all the winter trappings! This girl embodies sunshine.

Blogger The Concrete Commentator said ... (9:41 AM) :

She's so cute.. I can just hear her laughing!

Blogger Lucy said ... (9:51 AM) :

Amazing girl.
It's incredible too se how a charming person can be much more impressive than the clothes he/she is wearing.

Blogger Danah said ... (9:54 AM) :

such a wonderful photo. enigmatic smile

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:54 AM) :

elle ressemble à Mélanie Doutey.

Blogger J. Rene' said ... (10:03 AM) :

She looks so cute and fun. I would love to go have a glass of wine with her!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:12 AM) :

She looks like a wonderfully fun person. I have to say I don't really get the summer purse with the winter gloves and the spring weight outfit? It seems like the seasons are all mixed together. Maybe my southern roots of matchy-matchiness are taking over.

Blogger Cassiopeia said ... (10:18 AM) :

Amazing. I love the blue dress / shirt. And the fact that she radiates happiness. Great pic. Xxxc

Blogger Hadley Makes said ... (10:32 AM) :

Second to the smile, what I love most is the addition of shearling gloves!

Blogger Mac Daddy said ... (10:45 AM) :

I heart this!!! It shows that fashion isn't so uptight and worrisome, in actuality it is effortless, fun, and carefree. Amazing!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:04 AM) :

with that smile-this woman could just about wear anything & make it look good, now that's fashionable....

Blogger lauren baluyo said ... (11:05 AM) :

This young woman exudes so much life and happiness...and paired with a cool, laidback style makes for a killer sweeeet photo! Me likey!!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:05 AM) :

The smile fits her realy well

Blogger damarislucy said ... (11:06 AM) :

she is gorgeous! well done.

Blogger Tiawan said ... (11:26 AM) :

I love to people actually smile in a while! I like the bag and the denim jacket with the skirt.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:26 AM) :

gorgeous! she looks happy and comfortable and she looks like she´s keeping herself warm! beautiful! more of this spontaneity, please!

Blogger norawoah said ... (11:29 AM) :

Okay- besdies the fact that her smile is amazing(!)I love the chunky red scarf and the cute blue shirt dress.
Red and Blue always work well together.

Blogger malin said ... (11:30 AM) :

I totally agree with everyone else here. Love her jacket & skirt, and, of course her wonderful smile!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:39 AM) :

If I didn' t know, I' d think that this is a photo of a 70's girl.

Blogger Claudia Shekufendeh said ... (11:49 AM) :

Wonderful, SPECTACULAR composition, Sarto! A genuine laughter is really hard to capture on film.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:07 PM) :

To me she is Marianne, the impersonation of France, and everything Parisian. Glorious, simply glorious. Her happiness is contagious. You can't look at this picture and not feel your cynical heart go mild.

Blogger Unknown said ... (12:15 PM) :

Wow that girl is so gorgeous. I love that she looks put together yet still casual. True parisan style.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:38 PM) :

There's the denim jacket again. Good to see it around so much lately. Maybe, just maybe I must have one.

Blogger junglesiren said ... (12:53 PM) :

How can you beat this? Casual and chic and with a big, warm smile.

I'm wearing the hell out of my jean jacket too. It'll never look dated especially when it fits like this.

Blogger diane said ... (12:54 PM) :

I also have a little denim jacket, made in France. It's perfect with lots of things. Man, she's really got a great smile, doesn't she?

Blogger deanna said ... (1:08 PM) :

beautiful hair and infectious smile! such a lovely photo!

Blogger Krysta Marie said ... (1:23 PM) :

I want her scarf!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:18 PM) :

Is it me, or are scarves getting bigger and bigger? This one is gargantuan! Still, it looks good to me.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:27 PM) :

I don't care so much about the clothes here. Your photo moment with the sun starting to rise above the cold, grey cityscape make her look like she IS the sun radiating warmth and good cheer. Divine!

Blogger Relaunched said ... (2:34 PM) :

And there we have it again:

Contrast: red-blue (which is a great blue!)

A big-big-bigger Scarf

And last but not least: the Jeansjacket.....

2009. Well done!

A bientôt,
Jérôme

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:49 PM) :

I'm kicking myself for giving my denim jacket to Goodwill. Who would ever think to carry a straw bag in winter with shearling and a big scarf? This blog once again confirms that being chic is all about breaking the rules.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:09 PM) :

I need to move to Paris. Well dressed and beautiful what a combo.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:20 PM) :

She is vibrant and wonderful. I love her name, too, like the title character of one of Lawrence Durrell's Alexandria Quartet.

Blogger CW said ... (3:48 PM) :

Straight out of "The Breakfast Club."

Blogger Brigadeiro said ... (4:42 PM) :

Beautiful, what a great shot!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:04 PM) :

OMG! she's absolutely adorable.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:20 PM) :

She's gorgeous and the outfit is perfection! She reminds me of a Parisian Jenny Lewis!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:38 PM) :

The vibe so great, the outfit not-so-great.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:01 PM) :

is that a kilim on her neck?

Blogger cloudy said ... (10:28 PM) :

Just goes to show, nothing, not an expensive designer handbag or pair of shoes, or "fashion forward" outfit, none of those things can beat confidence and a great smile :-)

She looks so comfortable with herself and happy with the day that I can't take my eyes off her...

Blogger Cassie Jo - Tofuscloset said ... (11:23 PM) :

beautiful smile! =)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:35 PM) :

she is magnificent. her smile, her style, all exemplify what paris is.
les jeunes.

Blogger Verão said ... (12:22 AM) :

Each piece is nothing special on it's own, but this lovely girl just marries them so well it's stunning. A perfect example how you notice the woman and not the clothes.

Blogger Joy Mars said ... (1:00 AM) :

I'd definitely look close at everything if I passed her on the street. Unusual, to say the least.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:39 AM) :

THIS is style. I am so tired of seeing people dressed head to toe according to the latest trend. I love that she has mixed and matched to her own tastes; you can see her personality in her choices. Bravo!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:13 AM) :

Fantastic. Perfect. And I even love the bag

Blogger Paco les-bons-tuyaux said ... (6:54 AM) :

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:17 PM) :

trendsetter! i'm going to get my husband's shirt and try this look NOW.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:08 PM) :

Here in the southern hemisphere we are just leaving summer and the autumn chill is in the air. I can't wait to break out my denim jacket and warm pashminas - and I will laugh like that at the cold winds! Ha ha ha ha!

Blogger Vɑle (: said ... (8:41 PM) :
