Can dig the shoes, pants and scarf in particular!

Blogger Trecey Kwun said ... (8:28 AM) :

Love the layers and the color palette, very similar to my own style!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:32 AM) :

The colours work so well with each other.

Blogger simon said ... (8:33 AM) :

somehow i really like it. doesn't look that "clean" but the outfit and the background totally fit. maybe it's really a new type of camouflage ;)

Blogger Camille said ... (8:51 AM) :

Wow, his stonewashed scarf and tweed give him almost a homeless vibe, yet at the same time those shoes are so, so elegant!

Blogger aksel said ... (8:53 AM) :

I love the colour of the trousers! does anybody know what brand they are or where to get them?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:06 AM) :

I just love this one!

Blogger Unknown said ... (9:13 AM) :

Just lovely.

Blogger Susan B said ... (9:55 AM) :

Gorgeous shoes. Everything else is so matte in texture; the gleam is a nice contrast.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:04 AM) :

A soft look, I want to touch the materials. His colors matches great with the background. Ugly weather...now go home, relax on the sofa, a wool blanket and a hot black tea.

Blogger hc said ... (10:16 AM) :

beautiful unpretentious weathered penguin frame

Blogger Kim said ... (10:35 AM) :

Italy in Paris. What a combo..

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:36 AM) :

Like th coat, trousers and scarf.
The colors all blend in so well!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:42 AM) :

What a beautiful picture! I personally do not like the outfit, because it does not look very clean (I agree with Simon). But the setting of this picture is absolutely stunning...beautiful Paris!

Blogger ashley said ... (10:55 AM) :

love how the pants meld perfectly into the shoe. killer fit!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:58 AM) :

I would love it if my boyfriend comes home in this outfit..

perfect and not to much thinking

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:24 AM) :

This photograph depicts a wonderfully weathered, rustic and natural beauty. This is definitely one of your best photos yet! You just keep on improving, Sart!

Blogger Allen - East Hampton said ... (11:34 AM) :

Understated and undeniably hip.

Blogger so said ... (11:34 AM) :

this is an absolutely gorgeous photo.
i love his ensemble, AND the background...
the colors are all very pleasing.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:46 AM) :

Beautiful photo! You have a great eye for how people relate to the space around them, Sart;it gives an added dimension to your work. I love his look and the texture of his scarf. That's a great overcoat, may be it belonged to his grandfather as well??

Blogger thestyleadvisor said ... (11:50 AM) :

Has a very "disheveled elegance" look to it, absolutely great.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:51 AM) :

Scott photography just keeps getting better. This is an amazing photograph, color and composition.

Blogger diane said ... (11:56 AM) :

The first thing I noticed was the open coat and scarf, and I thought "Ahh, spring is almost here". Then I saw the bottoms of the trousers, WOW, I'm in love. xo

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:12 PM) :

This is Chrostphe Lemaire

Blogger Haiku runner said ... (12:14 PM) :

Not bad but not that great either. Think the coat is too big, pants too tight and the scarf is nice but would look better in another outfit. The shoes are nice though! And I like the photo with that background and colors.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:15 PM) :

love the cut of the trousers - I want some!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:21 PM) :

Really like this photo - I wish you sold prints of some of your work.

Blogger Stephanie Clayton said ... (1:35 PM) :

Those pants are cool.
I like how he's a bit unkempt-looking; he looks quite handsome in a not-trying-too-hard way.
This photo shows beautiful color harmony, texture. So real, so lovely.

Blogger Unknown said ... (1:39 PM) :

I totally love the fabric and the colours of the scarf, the trousers and the coat. The coat reminds me a little of a wet surplus army overcoat from the 40's (in Sweden you can get them for a bargain) but the cut is oh, so much more fabulous. And the shoes...

I remember when all the kids wore their jeans with that kind of cut in the hem. Brrr! But here it works.

Blogger Cassie Jo - Tofuscloset said ... (2:12 PM) :

this is an awesome outfit. love the colors and it seems to match him

Blogger Unknown said ... (2:17 PM) :

i have been dreaming of a scarf like that forever. it's the perfect texture of gray. if i'm not mistaken his pants are olive hued, which compliments the color of his jacket paired with the grey so very well. I actually want to borrow his whole outfit, except maybe wear it with heels.

Blogger anonwomen said ... (3:02 PM) :

I love the palette in this photograph, the way the walls and the street pic up the colours he is wearing, well done Sart.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:09 PM) :

Now that's more like it. Just a bit crumpled, not "look at me, I've just been to my tailor. Again." More of this and less of that uptight Italian 'style' and the world just feels so much better. The man looks like he's dressed to actually go somewhere or do something, as opposed to leaving the house to be checked out by other men dressed in the same uniform as him. The greatest oxymoron in fashion is 'Italian style.' More of the NYC, p-lease.

Blogger Rene Schaller said ... (4:20 PM) :

his look ist really great, so modern! would like to see him ridding in his vespa trough berlin-mitte....

Blogger me said ... (4:38 PM) :

see manet - absinthe drinker

Blogger Room4777 said ... (6:11 PM) :

I love the colors, individually and wholly.

Blogger JP said ... (6:15 PM) :

cool trousers- David Copperfield

Blogger Michael Joseph Owens said ... (8:38 PM) :

Fantastic trousers!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:01 PM) :

He looks as though he just walked out of the movie "Cinderella Man".

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:20 PM) :

WOW! Another exquisite photograph. Are you using a different camera? The lighting, colors, crisp details. I also want prints of some of your shots.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:46 PM) :

Love the whole layout and colors of this photo!!

Blogger Patrick said ... (12:04 AM) :

i dont know all that much... but is this jacket a wee bit too big?

Blogger Joy said ... (3:40 AM) :

I love this oversized look. The colors are all from a different family--greens, beiges, cool greys, and plums. He looks fabulous.

Blogger About Me said ... (3:44 AM) :

the proportions and color palette are great.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:58 AM) :

A very unkempt man with great shoes. I must agree with Linda about the colors and the photo but this is not a look I like to see.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:05 AM) :

Absolutly splendid!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:51 AM) :

This is a hip take - playing with proportion and texture - on an utterly classical theme. Subtle yet so intense. You can't get any more stylish in my book.

Blogger GlamMan said ... (7:57 AM) :

A subtle mix. I Love this look. The color and shape of the shoe is classic.

Blogger Unknown said ... (8:14 AM) :

I love this for its photographic quality just as much as I do for his style. Really nice shot.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:03 AM) :

Is that a soggy scarf? Eeh, I'm getting itchy!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:26 PM) :

He's taken on a chameleon-like effect in this photo in that he looks grimey and mildewy like the street and the walls in the background. Kinda icky and interesting.

Blogger Marc said ... (2:28 PM) :

Great photo, great outfit. I WANT that scarf. Any idea where I could find it? It looks almost like denim, but maybe I just need better glasses.

Blogger The Glorious Nosebleed said ... (7:07 AM) :

Well...Once again Christophe Lemaire is the epitome of chic !

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:46 AM) :

Scott-
This is a breathtaking photo. He really is all the color and texture of all that lies behind him and beneath him; the rumpled corner of his coat and trouser legs and the wet weathered stone, the shiny leather beside the puddle and the proportions and every, every thing. If this were a musical thought it would be in a minor key on a viola.
Merci!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:28 PM) :

anyone know the jacket make?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:31 PM) :

The outfit well reflects a man who has lived life, metaphorically, through the layers and texture in the clothing.

Blogger Chevron d'Azur said ... (4:00 PM) :

La petite fente à la cheville, ça ne se voit presque plus, mais quelle élégance....
