Comments on "On the Street......Sixth Ave. NYC (yeah, that's right NYC!!!! Back in da House!!....oops, This Title is Far Too Long....Oh, Happy Valentines Day)"
welcome home... i think varvatos would like this photo...
Welcome back Mr.Schuman. Fantastic light in the photo. Are those velvet trousers?
well done!
Wow!!! I absolutely love this combination. Love, love, love the color of the scarf. Love everything about the outfit, really!
Looking good, everything is perfect!
I love Jacket ... he looks so comfortable in that Fit !
Texture is lovely.
Fantastic casual blazer. Love the knit tie and scarf. If I had to nitpick I would make the pocket square a bit more pronounced. Awesome shot!
I can tell that someone's glad to be home :)
Love the subtle mixture of textures and patterns. Very sophisticated.
I have a pair of corduroys like those and a similar jacket. It's not an eye-popping look but comfortable.
He looks fantastic. Arike
what a sweet looking man
♥happy valentines mr.sart!!
Great jacket and great fit. I love his color choices. Really perfect.
Does anyone else only button the middle button of their three-button jacket? Mine rumples, when I do, so I usually button the top two and unfasten the middle one, when I sit.
What a beautiful beautiful man!
wow! the light in this photo is amazing. you just keep getting better and better, Sart
Wow! Amazing look!
That's how to wear a 3 button jacket.
3 button has been the new 2 button for a while now...
this man knows his jackets
great combination of colors & fabrics... inspirational.
bienvenido de nuevo!
i think the pants are corduroy- he looks fantastic. new yorkers know how to throw it down... =)
i miss nyc!
Beautiful combo of grey, chocolate and mauve! He looks fantastic.
Ralph Lauren tweed-jacket, knitted tie and velvet trousers. Lovely photo.
no need for apologies! I completely understand the transition from a long sting in Florence to NYC!....HAha, I also like how the expression on the man's face kinda matches the mood of your title.
Corduroy, tweed, striped shirt and a soft woollen scarf. Oh yes, a knit tie as well. All my favourites since 30 years still going strong.
Extrordinary color pallet for his gorgeous skintone
I get a little giddy when I see a well dressed man and a well dressed man in the USA...swoon. These muted colors aren't supposed to work well on dark skin. It's working beautifully here.
Ricola, I HOPE that those are, indeed, velvet trousers. It is also my hope that one day I can find that kind of texture and/or depth in a relationship, let alone a day's outfit. I love the interplay of the simple shapes: the rough checkers on the scarf, the gray static of the jacket, the blue stripe on the cuff.
This guy looks great. Love the way the subtle blue in the scarf (you can see it more clearly in the fringe) matches the the shirt.
Lovely guy. No big statement, just simple elegance.
Perfect. Beautiful combination of colors and textures. This is one of my favorite men's shots.
That photo looks like it's going to come to life...really great. judy
Perfectly executed updated trad. Knit tie, tweed, pocket square; perfect. And the tones work so well.
You're back! I can't wait for more NYC photos!
wow
How did you pull off this kind of lighting??
Is it perhaps the tree?
Anyway, I LOVE this photo.
this is definitely one of the best overall outfits as far as cohesion is concerned. Solid from head to toe... fit, color combo, balance... and great textures
Love the jacket! Happy V-Day to u too!
You have such a knack for finding the handsomest guys on the planet. I love your blog. xo
i love this combination of colours and textures. I am especially loving the grey and brown palette you have been featuring a lot lately.
Big shocker he's in NYC. Maybe he just stepped off a flight from Paris.
Perfect!
Great scarf. I wish I could see his shoes. Black or brown?
NYC men are the best!!
Ciao
Cristina
tight!
Lovley!!!
His pants and tie are great. I love a good knit straight tie...
I first thought he was holding a banana... Now THAT would have made a hilarious picture.
Love, the coat, love the pants, and the scarf really brings the ensemble together! Oh, and just noticed the striped shirt underneath the coat - what a great combination of patterns!
LOVE the tweed blazer/scarf combo, he dresses just like me english teacher!
*2 snaps*. i love it. the color combo is great. (www.theurbangent.com)
Such a wonderful shot! I love his style and the lighting and his expression. Kudos!
Blazer, neat fitting cordoroys, sharp scarf. Impossible to go wrong, here.
The whole look is scrumptious, but I especially adore his tie
mmm! looove the textures and color combos. so pleasantly handsome.
Man, have we missed you, welcome home....ingstali
The tailoring on the coat is perfect! The colors duke the colors...lol! I Love it!
Happy Valentine's Day. Welcome Home!
Amazing, thats "crystal clear" at its best!!! did the sart get a new camera?! lol The gentleman's outfit here is just flawless, not sure his slacks or corduroy's or cotton..either way, the whole thing just wrks!
Good to see you're back, but I'll miss the Paris and Milan shots. Maybe I'll see you when I go into the city this week. ^^
Happy Valentines Day!
This dude is utterly delicious. The clothes aren't bad either! He wears them quite well. Lovely jacket and scarf combo and beautiful combo of textures.
Lovely gent! I missed NY...
A great outfit!
That's a really nice scarf! Looks good with the oufit!
Welcome back "home sweet home")))
This men is so trendy.NY chic.
Estupendo blazer sport!! Muy bueno
amazing perfect love it
JUST GOES TO SHOW....AMERICANS ARE DOING IT FOR THEMSELVES...LOL!
THIS OUTFIT IN MY OPINION IS PITCH PERFECT IN TERMS OF FIT, COLOUR PALET, AND OVERALL TEXTURE!
IF I HAVE ONE CRITIC ( ALBEIT A TINY CRITIC! ), THE POCKET SQUARE SHOULD BE A TAD MORE PROMINENT, A BIT MORE CONSPICUOUS.
ON THE WHOLE THOUGH I GIVE THIS LOOK A PERFECT 10!
-HOGAN-
SHARP! love this.
Gotta love that New York is back on the map, or site for that matter =P. I love walkin' the streets to find inspiration like this. This look is great.
Perfection. In particular I like the lack of scarf over-kill.
so handsome...
the color combination, the textures, it's all great! i love the fact that he kept in mind how his skin color goes with his outfit too, just wonderful composition overall.
the scarf is a beautifully detailed.
The lighting in this photograph is exquisite. I think you could have photographed anything and it would look beautiful. This man looks splendid however. Your photograph just enhances the fact.
What astonishing light! The jacket isn't too shabby either.
Nice jacket. The light in the shot looks positively filmic. Does the left hand look a little retouched though?
Super cool! And he looks like a nice person too--as the French say, "bien dans la peau."
The outfit this fellow has on is going to make me hit Barney's Warehouse sale...and I said I was going to take a moratorium on shopping in 2009!
i love new yorkers!
welcome back where you belong! i love the photos from abroad, but save the real hometown pride for your ny street shots where it all began.
Obviously one of the most gorgeous men alive! Love, LOVE, L-O-V-E the look!
Fantastic pic!!!
Looks great!! You bet - he's my nephew!!
Great reserved, comfortable, versatile look...timeless. I really enjoy the two-tone scarf and how it pulls the shirt into the mix of earthtones. Doesn't look like he worked too hard to look good (his look lends some effortlessness to his attitude). He is a genius of sartorial excellence here.
sexy debonair-look.
Great fall look that suits him perfectly. I want that outfit.
Good look in Ralph lauren
I'm almost sure that's a herringbone sport coat and not tweed.
His jacket is too tight. The scarf is too bulky and it looks like it is stuffed into the jacket.
Great fit. It looks like the clothes are perfectly tailored for this gentleman.
Forget the outfit - your photography is getting to be stunning!
