Love his expression on his face, The whole ensemble works for him...that disheveled look

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:57 AM) :

pants ruin the whole thing. too high waisted and too narrow. jeans a better choice or cords...

Blogger Style Eyes said ... (9:12 AM) :

A great tartan scarf. He wears it so well.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:13 AM) :

are those camo pants?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:18 AM) :

Totally agree on the wriststrap!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:20 AM) :

That's Mister Mort! ??!!

Cute! Younger than I imagined.

Blogger Jack Daniel said ... (9:21 AM) :

Fashion wise, I'm not a fan of his pants.

But I do like this capture!! Non-posed. You just caught him off guard. :)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:26 AM) :

I'd like to be the female equivalent of that.

Blogger diane said ... (9:28 AM) :

Camo's, always liked them. Now here is an example of a man who dresses as though he doesn't care, but the details tell you that he does. How handsome! xo

Blogger Modern Craft said ... (9:32 AM) :

I love the camouflage with the camel hari and Barbour coat. Country chic with a little urban attitude.

Blogger stylethread said ... (9:35 AM) :

well, this is a hodgepodge. military on the bottom, hunting on top, and a professor creamy center. can't say I love it.

is that a tooled leather camera strap? I like how it picks up the leather buttons on his jacket.

Blogger KD said ... (9:35 AM) :

What a funny mix, but somehow everything goes in NYC. A mix of hunting, military and British...very bold.

Blogger Enzo AGC said ... (9:39 AM) :

Camo chinos and blazer, first Lapo, then Michael Bastian Fall 09, then Mr. Rubenstein...I'm sensing a trend here

Blogger Sarah said ... (9:39 AM) :

Love the Barbour!

Blogger thestyleadvisor said ... (9:51 AM) :

Some really cool layering here. I am getting a bit of a Johnny Depp vibe with this. The pants though could definitely be swapped out for jeans or a dark wool pant.

Blogger John B Pritchett said ... (9:56 AM) :

His loo is good except for the camo pants. Reminds me of Al Pacino in Serpico...

Blogger Jorge from W Palm Beach said ... (9:58 AM) :

I could do without the camo but everything else is just brilliant! The oxford with the plaid scarf, the camel colored coat, and the barbour jacket. Great use of basics!!! Jorge from W Palm Beach

Blogger Unknown said ... (10:00 AM) :

His colors and fit are so nice... Then he's wearing camoflauge pants.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:03 AM) :

I dont mind the camo... especially not with the great blazer and plaid scarf.

Blogger Paolo Vitale said ... (12:00 PM) :

fantastico l'abbinamento tra il pantalone mimetico, la giacca color cammello e il barbour...! bellissimo

Blogger junglesiren said ... (12:02 PM) :

Yumdillyicious!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:46 PM) :

He always looks great.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:07 PM) :

He has a face that speaks of his creativity, and his choice of clothing confirms it.
Off center? Yes, a bit. Captivating? Absolutely.

Blogger Bedlam said ... (3:09 PM) :

he's handsome, love the rugged look

Blogger Adam R said ... (4:50 PM) :

Great to see a barbour again! Classic Kit!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:49 PM) :

I also love the Barbour. That is definitely my next coat purchase. So classic, so smart and so functional.

Blogger laura.graber said ... (6:41 PM) :

So glad to see Mordy back-we used to hang back in the day when i was a wee soho shopgirl. He never disappoints.

Blogger Jazzbuff630 said ... (7:28 PM) :

I wish I could duplicate that expression when I'm trying to flirt
with someone. My "come hither" look is more apt to make someone switch seats on the bus, or sit closer to the driver.

Not so sure I'm digging the camo pants with this ensemble. Love the Barbour coat, though. He seems like a real character.

Blogger Starck Mad said ... (10:02 PM) :

ADORABLE. Love the layered, almost RL/RLX look.
hyper-cute!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:30 PM) :

Nope. Huh uh. Not even close. At all.

Blogger gabrielazeanadal@hotmail.com said ... (3:19 AM) :

It is a really interesting combo, not a fan of those militar pants though.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:35 AM) :

This spelled it out for me: real classics can be combined almost randomly and look great if the wearer really likes them all and if they fit well. Thanks.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:22 AM) :

Wow, love this. I often mix my camo pants in with some finer clothes - great hunt look! Thanks, Alexander Scott

Blogger Shaynuh said ... (7:21 AM) :

Somehow this look works...but I can't figure out, how so?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:55 AM) :

The wrist strap is fantastic!!
He's a good looking guy.
Great photo...

But, why are so many people trying very hard to look like they are shopping at Salvation Army and failing to buy clothes that work together? Seems to be the recent trend on here. Maybe people are just getting sick of winter and letting go. Maybe the cabin fever is making them lose sensibility.

A real hat would have looked better.

Oh look! Camouflaged pants. How quaint.

Blogger KSK said ... (11:47 AM) :

Great look, most certainly WORKIN it. And naughty look in his eye does not hurt!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:26 PM) :

That's the exact vibe I get from Mister Mort's blog. Awesome.

Side note. Wow. Mad Hatter's blogger photo sure caught me off guard in the best possible way.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:22 PM) :

When you are that good looking - who cares about the details of his clothes!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:17 PM) :

Does not work for me at all - too many ideas, not enough restraint. I flinch when catch myself wondering what shoes he is wearing... too much already; probably best to omit the shoes.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:20 AM) :

Ahhh no! The whole outfit doesn´t suit together!
Too much mixed.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:46 AM) :

I like his look. It is the classic country gent look but with a twist that the camouflage trousers bring into it. Barbour jacket must be one of the most versatile coats ever - it is fine both in the country and the city. This is propably a Beaufort.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:42 AM) :

Marry me!

Blogger Petulia said ... (4:43 PM) :

I like it, looks very Italian with the barbour and the scarf worn like that. Pretty pic

Blogger leather girl said ... (7:48 AM) :

i love the leather strap, too, but i am kind of biased. mord you're looking fabulous as always.. attention given to every last detail.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:16 PM) :

i <3 fashion week.

Blogger Cyclo2000 said ... (5:40 AM) :

I think the camo pants/sports coat look is an emerging trend...hasn't bastian done this look recently?

Blogger Karen said ... (4:15 PM) :

i believe he is using a Leica camera!! the same model that i have :D

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:56 PM) :

Looks like he is LX2 user...Good choice.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:55 AM) :

i feel like i could go camping with this guy- and i hate camping!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:33 PM) :

who is this man?

Blogger . said ... (4:45 PM) :

I love his eyes.
