yet so much sexier.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:07 AM) :

She's perfect!

Blogger diane said ... (9:07 AM) :

Well done. It's always fun to wear what the boys wear and look cute in it.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:09 AM) :

good looknig girl!

Blogger Kim said ... (9:16 AM) :

I LOVE this look!

Blogger Alice Olive said ... (9:19 AM) :

I love the proportions here. I like the school boy-ish appeal of this.

Blogger à vendre said ... (9:21 AM) :

Une très belle tenue!
On dirait une petite anglaise...
Tendance à la trouver masculine et à la fois féminine...

Tendance-Parisienne

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:23 AM) :

Wahou !
Très chouette la p'tite nenette !

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:33 AM) :

I love this. I always think doing up the top button somehow makes a powerful style statement on a woman. It's very Rag and Bone. I like that she looks classic and not hipster here and I think she achieves it by selecting a good quality shoe. Very smart. Thanks for the inspiration!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:45 AM) :

comme des garcons indeed. The socks and shoes are particularly inspired. Very well done and you don't doubt her femininity for a second.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:03 AM) :

I think this look mainly works because she has such a beautiful face! Despite being dressed in a very masculine way it is extremely clear that it's a woman. I'd like to see this look on someone slightly curvier, to create even more of a juxtoposition.

Blogger Circe said ... (10:04 AM) :

Love this style!

Blogger Cheltenhamdailyphoto said ... (10:08 AM) :

Oh she looks wonderful!

Blogger Sanna said ... (10:08 AM) :

Really hot girl! The Paris-boys must be losing their minds!

she's beautiful.

Blogger Jack Daniel said ... (10:12 AM) :

She can get away with this look, 'cause she's extremely beautiful!

Blogger miss sophie said ... (10:20 AM) :

there's something very insouciant about her oxfords and the hem of her pants - i like this very much indeed!

Blogger ryder said ... (10:27 AM) :

fantastic!!!!

i take this one as an inspiration. its funny, but all the people on your pictures are so beautiful. i guess beauty comes from selfconfiedence. just fantastic!

Blogger Vermine said ... (10:32 AM) :

Burgundy shoes / white socks.

Aesthetical homotecy.

Pavement should have been blond.

Blogger Allen - East Hampton said ... (10:37 AM) :

adorable, head to toe.

Blogger L'Hauteur said ... (10:39 AM) :

I can not love more this outfit. Its a school boy from the 60s, its a beautiful feminine girl from 09.
I dont know why, maybe because of the smile and the innocence of the whole look, it made me think of alex in clockwork orange.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:48 AM) :

She does this look really well. i agree with Alice Olive 9.19am the proportions are spot on. love the hair.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:59 AM) :

Pure self-confidence!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:00 AM) :

the Grey, the white and the red of the shoes is really attractive to look at.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:04 AM) :

Killer girl pretty. Ten points.

Blogger andrew said ... (11:08 AM) :

It really is the hair that sets off this look for me: very feminine with a messy boyish tinge. I think she is stunning!

Blogger Paul Walters said ... (11:12 AM) :

And yet, so unlike the boys in all the right ways! Terrific. Her look is almost like a tongue-in-cheek statement that while she may be dressing in a similar manner as "the boys," she oozes femininity. Gorgeous girl.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:17 AM) :

a classic look done in a rather youthful way, love it!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:17 AM) :

cute style and clever little title for this post! love the CDG heart poking out from her coat.

she kind of looks like agyness.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:55 AM) :

it fits her well. can't find many who can wear something like that so well.
keep the great photos coming in.
very inspiring.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:56 AM) :

Pretty girl, she remember me a Gossip Girl

Blogger pigeon.toed said ... (11:56 AM) :

Blogger soulbitch. said ... (12:18 PM) :

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:27 PM) :

She has such a great face!

Blogger I ♥ You said ... (1:11 PM) :

is that a little comme des garcons heart peeking out from the jacket? love it!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:25 PM) :

oooo, so cute. i want those oxfords.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:39 PM) :

Beautiful from head to kneecaps, not so great below (trousers too short, tight there).

I do like the shoes, though.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:50 PM) :

That is incredibly nice!
Loves everything from top to bottom, and that Comme Des Garcons knit is just what I'm looking.

Blogger Camille said ... (2:11 PM) :

An ideal menswear take! Her proportions are flawless, she exudes simple sexiness without skin.

Blogger Tania said ... (2:22 PM) :

she is so beautiful.

Blogger NVA said ... (2:33 PM) :

comme des garcons...
nice chick too

Blogger Petulia said ... (2:35 PM) :

So awesome. Great look and a natural poser

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:54 PM) :

I don't like boy-ish outfits, but this girl.. one of the best looking girls you posted! Damn!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:32 PM) :

perfection! but i think it'd be more difficult to pull off for a curvy girl (especially in the chest area). her stance and expression are pure effortless cool and sexy... possibly one of my favorite posts EVER!! (especially because it's so classic)

Blogger Brigadeiro said ... (3:51 PM) :

Beautifully done, by a beautiful girl, love this pic! (and jacket/peacoat).

Blogger BathtubSurprise said ... (3:59 PM) :

looks like rebecca romajin

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:01 PM) :

looks like rebeca romajin

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:02 PM) :

Gender-bender outfits usually strike me ugly and forced, or disingenuous... but this girl is so sexy and feminine that the conservative boy's clothes make her even MORE feminine and sexy.

Blogger TMFA said ... (4:09 PM) :

SHE IS WOWW!

IF they only would dress like that over here in Holland. *Sigh*

Blogger No said ... (4:17 PM) :

The maroon colour on her is so flattering. Well done!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:24 PM) :

This girl is absolutely georgeous! Absolutely stunning...I love the way she is able to wear masculine clothes and still remain so feminin.

Keep up the good work Sart!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:20 PM) :

Reminds me of early years of ska in '69s England... a kinda working chic... like it!

Blogger Tom Morris said ... (6:26 PM) :

The world is falling in love with her. Someone please cast her in a film. She's a star. Now, to see her in business attire, and a formal gown - I'm sure she can do it all.

Blogger Deka said ... (6:34 PM) :

it's hard to pull off a "boys" look without looking sloppy
she does it perfectly

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:39 PM) :

Fearless!

I was made fun of in middle school for the same look of her cuffed tweed pants & masculine oxfords. Now I feel vindicated b/c of her kind of smarts!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:45 PM) :

There is a teasing, tongue-in-cheek quality to her look coming from the juxtaposition of her sweet and girly face with the boyish get-up. Clever.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:32 PM) :

so lucious

Blogger mani said ... (9:34 PM) :

title directly translated into french: Comme des garcons :)

love her outfit and her messy hair

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:21 PM) :

Her name is Anouk and she's actually a New Zealander...there is some great syle happening here in NZ.

Blogger jackie said ... (10:41 PM) :

aww such a great outfit. love the cdg vest.

Blogger Cassie Jo - Tofuscloset said ... (11:04 PM) :

she look perfect...i love this one

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:32 PM) :

Very clever caption Sart, like "commes des garcons"? I like that. She undoubtedly looks gorgeous, and the look is inspirational to guys too.

Energie

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:50 AM) :

she just did a great job, love the look.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:55 AM) :

My attention went straight to the shoes.. and I'm wondering, are they boy shoes? or girl shoes? did she go to a shoe store and picked those from the men's department?... Maybe they are her brother's shoes... ok, I'm obsessed with the 'how' of the aquisition of the shoes... did she say anything to you when you took the photo? :)
Elizabeth

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:28 AM) :

oh I like what's happening here!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:24 AM) :

The highlights are striking-- pale hands, blond hair, crisp-white collar.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:11 AM) :

really great chic!
it works because she's a really beauty and the contrast between the way she makes her hair and the strict silhouette of her slim legs. she's got the look meg ryan still wants to have...

please go on loke this!

Blogger  said ... (4:23 AM) :

Simply...in love.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:42 AM) :

Simply gorgeous.

I wish I were pretty enough to pull off this sort of outfit.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:21 AM) :

I'm really fascinated by this style, because although it's really boy-ish and doesn't show anything sexy, it's really interesting and fits the situation; I mean, it's a lovely day outfit for work&school. I don't like: the so tight shirt collar and the white socks in view. But I like: pullover's colour (intense), the jacket's buttons, the hairstyle, and shoes. It's a pity we can't see the bag.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:44 AM) :

wonderful.
the shoes.... i wonder if she does wear them with a different outfit, and how.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:26 AM) :

white socks have never look so good!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:07 AM) :

Her ''boyish'' style reminds me of a seducers story in.. The art of seduction by robert greene.

There's something extremely sexy about her outift, its very charming.

I like the contrast of colors between her socks and her shoes.
Her socks really matches her shirt.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:53 AM) :

meh. don't love this look. it always looks a little forced and artificial when done so completely head to toe like this. The ankle area isn't working.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:21 AM) :

the pant is executed beautifully and gives this look a more feminine persuasion.
I love her confidence. Beautiful example of casual sexy.

Blogger Amy Williams said ... (11:26 AM) :

She pulls it off because she is so beautiful. Brilliant.

Blogger Manuela Cameirão said ... (12:07 PM) :

The girl is beautiful, and the pic is amazing, but I hate the look. I would never NEVER use something like this. I hate the tights, the shoes, the pullover, the cut of the jeans...

Blogger M said ... (3:28 PM) :

love the look!
i always like to wear white oxford shirts tucked into very tight but dressy black pants with over sizedcardigans
sometimes i get mistaken as a boy as well
but im never offended and always thrilled to confuse people haha

Blogger SparkleQueen said ... (3:31 PM) :

This looks like a shot right from Teen Vogue!!!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:40 PM) :

Tights? Jeans? What are you talking about?
Also, the look's great (imho).

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:49 PM) :

pretty girl with boyish charm.

Blogger John B Pritchett said ... (11:18 PM) :

Sooooo cute! She does a great job of pulling the look together. Your photograph makes it all even better!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:46 PM) :

Definitely very interesting style, I'd even say it could be an androgyny style. There are so many masculine and feminine characteristics mixed in the outfit and her look. Perhaps because I'm also Parisian that this style works for me.

Blogger Casou said ... (2:01 AM) :

j aime ce look, elle est parfaite, cette touche feminine venant je ne sais ou, je ne sais quoi dire

Blogger Jaap van Vliet said ... (3:08 AM) :

I don't like white socks. But in this case they are perfect!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:42 AM) :

Women in men's wear has got to be my favorite.

Blogger MARIA H said ... (7:53 PM) :

superb!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:15 AM) :

She is absolutely beautiful -- her lovely, angelic face and hair really make this outfit! And Mr. Sart, I am simply LOVING your photos lately; all the Scandinavian and Florentine photos make me swoon... (-:

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:06 AM) :

her face reminds me of agyness so much.

i love this look. i wish i was this cool!

Blogger Olviya said ... (12:09 PM) :

classical college style

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:13 PM) :

This is the cutest little outfit and the girl's face reminds me of Ellen Paige! I would love to wear everything she's wearing.. very androgynous in the sweetest way.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:12 PM) :

If I saw her on the street dressed like that, it would take every bone in my body to refrain from proposing to her on the spot. Her style is fabulous!

Blogger mchl said ... (12:59 AM) :

pretty face! but her outfit is too boyish for my liking.

-michael

Blogger Jo said ... (12:33 PM) :

her face definitely made the outfit! beautiful!

Blogger Un Monito said ... (10:45 PM) :

The white socks and white oxford under her delicious v-neck totally pull this together - love the tapered trousers with the fat cuff - brilliant sprezaturra and her hair is perfect.

She is so exquisite ! anissoomar

love this look, but the hair throws it off a little bit for me.

Anonymous Aurora said ... (9:23 PM) :

Oh! she's lovely.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:22 PM) :

Beauty doesn´t need explanation someone said, and this is a proof of that. I feel sad watching these pictures. If I could only be beautiful.

Blogger Anne said ... (1:29 AM) :

FANTASTIC STYLE. Would kill for those shoes- trying to find some oxfords in the boys' section.

An aside- This girl is the actress Roxane Mesquida, she was in 'Une Vieille Maîtresse' and is absolutely stunning!

Anonymous Elle J said ... (12:58 AM) :

Beautifully done.
