Geez Scott, your eyes can cut glass, they're so sharp. The ladies should have fun with that.

That coat is hugging you very well btw.....

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:24 AM) :

So great to see the man behind THE SARTORIALIST.
You look great and as always impeccable. I love how the shades of blue make your eyes pop.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:40 AM) :

Sart you look dashing!
Love the blue peeping out the coat´s sleaves.
I will start introducing this combination of colours more often into my wardrobe.

Greetings from ARGENTINA!

I like the tiny touches of blue in the picture (the cuffs, the eyes, the pillar), they add a nice balance to it.

When r u coming to Mexico City Mr. Sart?

Blogger stylethread said ... (11:31 AM) :

all I can say is the guy in the second photo is smokin' hot ;)

seriously now, I am a big fan of the combination of brown and grey. for me, it blurs the lines of brown vs. black and further proves that a mix of neutrals always works.

Blogger John B Pritchett said ... (11:33 AM) :

I thought that was you in the bottom photo! I'm like, "wow that's the guy from the Gap ad!" Great coat!

Blogger diane said ... (11:40 AM) :

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:31 PM) :

An elegant colour combination. you are wearing a lovely coat Sart and i love the touches of yellow ochre and blue. Those details really make it.
[Incidently i have almost the same intense shade of blue-gray eyes that provoke a lot of comments, it can be a bit disconcerting!]

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:33 PM) :

Sart, you should appear more often.
Come on, don’t be shy… =)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:55 PM) :

Wow, Scott...just had a 'Gatsby' moment. Great pic! You're looking like the archetypical American of the mythic past.

Tres bien fait!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:56 PM) :

Ol' Blue Eyes.

Lovely coat, Sart. Smashing color & cut.

Blogger junglesiren said ... (1:58 PM) :

Brown, gray and blue.

Here we have two very handsome dudes rocking a great color combo that can work for anyone depending on which piece is brown, which is blue and which is gray... Brown coats don't work for me 'cause I'm a brown girl and it's just too much but as pants brown is fine with blue or gray on top.

Top guy really works that beenie (is that what it is?) and I'm a fan of that length and style of beard. Isn't that Maria Cristina behind him?

Bottom shot, whoever that guy is, knows how to "give great eye". And whoa, that jacket is sharp as a shard of glass and hugs him perfectly. But you gotta have a body for that... and boy does this mystery man have the body. What shoulders.... What eyes! Yummy!

Blogger Daša Lončarević said ... (2:02 PM) :

Sart, you look amazing...you should put more photos of you here...see, everyone is happy to see your style which is btw fantastic and we did't expect any different.Tnx, you are constant inspiration to me:)

Blogger anonwomen said ... (2:24 PM) :

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:46 PM) :

A great smile....the perfect accessory.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:21 PM) :

Both photos - gorgeous style, gorgeous men. I am loving these winter photos with the great scarves and coats. Makes me almost wish spring wouldn't come (but just almost).

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:43 PM) :

One of my favorite color combos. Just perfect!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:50 PM) :

Re: the top picture - by some bizarre co-incidence i watched Grey Gardens on dvd last night..anyone who is familiar with Little Edie's headwear will know what i mean. Sart, it's great to see you! who made your coat? You have exemplary color sense.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:03 PM) :

here's looking at you!

cheers

Blogger Andrew Barker said ... (5:13 PM) :

love the color combanation and the gloves in the pocket

Blogger Sartorial Vancouver said ... (6:00 PM) :

Mr. Schuman,

For your consideration:

1 - A flower on your lapel would add a sartorial dimension of color

2 - Might your coat sleeves be too long, or your shirt sleeves too short?

- Charles

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:08 PM) :

that second dude looks kinda familar..

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:09 PM) :

Dear sart, you should post your outfit more often,
Love, nasne.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:12 PM) :

You shoot Garance and she shoots you?

Your gloves look like feathers peeping from your pocket, very sweet!

The man with the beard is happy-sexy looking in his layering...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:54 PM) :

It's been forever since you posted a picture of yourself Sart and man did you choose the right one! Love your coat; perfect fit and shape to it.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:12 PM) :

Blogger UESman said ... (9:41 PM) :

Blogger Jenn said ... (9:49 PM) :

Hey that looks like YOU. You just had to try the grey/brown trend, eth? And it looks mighty fine on you too!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:57 PM) :

damn you're fine

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:07 PM) :

I have i critique if you don't mind; on all of your pictures, your clothes are wonderful, you nail everything - everything but the most important thing.. its something you dont put on, but put out. Its that little thing that makes clothes you wear look like they've been on you since the day you were born. It's not just your pics, there are quite a few people you've shot that look just like those clothes dont belong to them.

Thank you for this awesome site, keep up the good work!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:46 AM) :

Thanks for bringing this colour combination to my attention to wear on a wonderful February morning! Question is, who is the man on the first photo? Sexy. Sart, you probably know him well, judging from the way he's treating your camera.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:04 PM) :

Just so cute, both of them!

I love the combination - grey and brown. And the blue in the second photo adds a dimension to the outfit.

In the first photo, that smile works as a great accessory..And in the second photo, those eyes are killers!

Blogger Frances Davison said ... (7:33 AM) :

You're so sharp, Sart. x

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:55 AM) :

The subtle glimpse of blue cuff mirrors your eyes, and the grey scarf takes it to a deeper level - and then add the gloves for perfection. Scott, you sure know how to wear it as well as shoot it.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:53 AM) :

I love that man's smile! :) And I reeeally like your blue-shirt-peeking-out-from-the-chocolate-coat detail!

Blogger delantal said ... (1:32 PM) :

Blogger elm479 said ... (12:28 PM) :

I love a man with a beard. Especially one that's not "ironic" Handsome shots!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:52 PM) :

I dare to say that I think this coat needs slightly bigger buttons to keep the balance between the thickness of cloth and the distance between the buttons and diameter of the buttons. I could be wrong.

Nice pocket details (gloves, flaps on bigger ones).

Blogger Irene said ... (5:09 PM) :
