The bare branches at the top of the frame are reaching out to run their twigs through all that wonderful curly hair. What a great shot.

Blogger anonwomen said ... (1:21 PM) :

I love the mix of proportions the skinny short pants with the long oversized jacket. And the blue suede shoes are great just a touch of the unexpected

Re Crowsfeet: how poetic! I love that.

I love the softness of his coat, and really like the scarf as well.

Blogger Premee said ... (2:42 PM) :

Good gracious, I might not even have noticed his shoes if that hadn't been the caption. I just love his hair and his sweet expression and his air of sort of gentle awkwardness. I agree, a terrific shot.

Blogger jackie said ... (3:06 PM) :

such a great picture!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:16 PM) :

Those blue boots would quietly perk up any simple outfit just the perfect amount.

I'm jealous.

i like that against the snow. Can't wait for your fashion week findings!

Blogger Mz. Paulzen said ... (4:01 PM) :

Bea Arthur wore that coat in "The Golden Girls," but not nearly as well. Perfect punk-industrial.

Blogger Lekan T said ... (4:06 PM) :

I actually enjoy the entire outfit. It fits the trends happening of oversized coats/sweters and slim pants.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:10 PM) :

I like how he made a combination of ordinary clothes into his own style by picking the right fit.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:28 PM) :

Incredible!!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:33 PM) :

Diffinatly attention-grabbing, fasionable in kind of rebel/geek way. Great capture.

Blogger Jay_ said ... (6:19 PM) :

Just read an article about you on Forbes.com, congrats my friend. very nice picture btw.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:37 PM) :

his hair and air of nonchalance reminds me of Bob Dylan
Love the contrast between the oversized jacket and the tight pants.
and those shoes are marvelous.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:59 PM) :

i have noticed when comparing the younger people you photograph, the women tend to be impeccably styled a chic, but the men tend to have a little of the ragamuffin about them... i love the juxtaposition!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:39 PM) :

I don't think that's suitable for the winter, especially here in Canada. Never really seen that style here either. Tight pants usually means tight shirt/jacket. Not that baggy, but the shoes and scarf definately match with the pants.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:40 PM) :

Love his simple outfit, the boots really bring it all together

Blogger bridget said ... (8:58 PM) :

love the silhouette-and the boots!

Blogger Angela said ... (9:22 PM) :

Oh, he's adorable.

He looks like he needs some gloves, though. Pretty hands can't be allowed to freeze! <3

Blogger Emily said ... (10:10 PM) :

Great shoes! I want some desert boots right about now..

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:11 PM) :

Despite not being fashion-forward, I always keep up with your site! I just saw the Forbes feature on you; congratulations!

Blogger Camille said ... (12:13 AM) :

The proportions here are excellent, skinnies and boots, topped with tall, tall curls.

Blogger 1 said ... (2:46 AM) :

He definitely looks like he is from another time and place.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:48 AM) :

YES!!!! This is why I'm coming here. Love the proportions. As much as I appreciate two images posted prior to this, I can hardly imagine that woman wearing any clothes that are not associated with luxury. (Is it just me?) The most current photo exhibits a "person" rather than a "style". I cannot get enough of the Swedish photos. They brighten my day with their subdued colour choices.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:14 AM) :

he is elegant and cool

Blogger Kay said ... (4:02 AM) :

I want them! I love his hair, the whole vibe he has going on is beautifully done. I really like the way he's tied his scarf as well - it fits perfectly

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:31 AM) :

You have taken a lot of pictures of people with clothes like this, but I stil think it'sa good outfit. I'am not getting bored of it!:)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:37 AM) :

orh, he looks so sweet!
Now I get all sad that I don't live in Stockholm...
Really love his jacket.

Blogger Anya said ... (5:38 AM) :

He looks chill and easy going. The scarf and boots added charm to the entire outfit.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:49 AM) :

Lovely hairstyle like the mysterious place and very nice photo shot!

Blogger Julicious Fashionicious said ... (6:15 AM) :

He has his own style to be without style!!But there is some sense in it!

Blogger Unknown said ... (8:27 AM) :

I love his hair. I'm kind of glad that he's in Stockholm - he looks like he belongs there. I like his style.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:42 AM) :

LOVE.THE.SHOES.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:55 AM) :

the shoes is incredibly stunning!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:09 AM) :

fantastic. perfect proportions for him.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:46 PM) :

i really want to touch his hair!

That coat looks gorgeous on him!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:04 PM) :

Wow this picture is amazing, I didn't notice the hair- but wow it looks so archaic and his scarf contrasts beautifully with it. I love his outfit too, the lack of colour is really nice.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:18 PM) :

There is something naughty about wearing suede out in the snow. The shoes might be ruined, but you will bring a smile to many people.

His hair is a stunning feature. I'm glad he let's it fly wild.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:25 PM) :

i always wonder what people are like who dress creatively. want his shoes, i won some red suede boots similar and they are the best!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:41 PM) :

He looks like a character in a Terry Gilliam movie. I love the quirky individualism of his look. And those boots are lovely.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:54 AM) :

the suede shoes, thumbs up! pants as well. not too fond of the oversized jacket though.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:13 AM) :

The shoes are from the Swedish brand Whyred.

Blogger SparkleQueen said ... (3:30 PM) :

i like the boots+tight jean combination on him, it works quite well.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:50 AM) :

This outfit looks incomplete at first glance. You notice his face and hair but there is something wrong with the look in it's entirety. If he had some great gloves in a very contrasting color to his look, it would be more complete.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:30 PM) :

this is Roland aka Vivianne. myspace.com/viviannemusic or kolonirecords.com

Blogger Kaylen said ... (12:12 PM) :

He reminds me SO MUCH of Wybie Lovat, the little boy in Coraline. He's like a human version of the clay model. Sooo weird.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:17 AM) :

I just love the coat and his hair!
And I can't leave a comment without saying: "Don't you mean blue swede shoes..?"
Love your pictures by the way.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:35 PM) :

We went to the same art school and he is very talented too :)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:36 PM) :

Ha, "Blue Suede Shoes", a song of Chris Garneau !
Nice picture !
