Comments on "On the Street..... Park Ave, UES"
love the mist behind her, and I wish I could see what she was wondering under that coat, looks interesting.
love the outfit....the peach/creamish top paired with teal legging really gives the outfit depth.
on the other hand....don't ever leave the house with slippers on..haha
I love that coat, it looks soooo warm!
One of your best pics ever!!!!!!
Congrats.
seeker
The shoes just don't work.
i would luv 2see that dress, which is hidden underneath that coat...fabulous look though
Love those thights!!! Nice colour!

AMAZING!
Those tights are perfect. Sublime colour and that length with peep toes - divine!
Beautiful coat! Love the colors!

Cute<3! Love the colorful leggings!
Love colorful leggings! cute!
Not a fan of her shoe-choice...but the rest of her outfit outshines most well dressed ladies!
Love the outfit and this shot is amazing
woah, love the stockings and flats!
Pretty and original...I like the mix of colors & textures....I'm not too sure about those shoes with stirrup tights, though.
Camo with camelhair, blue oxford cloth, and Stewart plaid: THAT's inspired!! The proportions make it all work just fine. HUGE sartorial savvy.
Lovely photo. the steam is the perfect foil for her coat. i love the colours. That big collar and beautiful hair (nice cut!) frames her face. The only thing that's not working for me is the bare feet and shoes, they look like slippers, maybe she's running out for a morning cup of coffee?
looks like vintage persian lamb - love it in the dove hue. I don't really like it with the open toe shoes. If it's cold enough to wear a fur, then why are you running around with bare, exposed feet?

Really nice!
It looked great until I got down to her shoes. I realize that it's hard to walk around Manhattan in heels, but you can't just kill a fur coat with flats.
Love the billowing smoke (steam?) behind her. And the green tights are fab.
I love it until I get to the shoes (which sadly I have to scroll down to see) then it reminds me a little too much of my Aunt Carmella going out to get the paper in her house dress and slippers. Although, to be fair, she was usually wearing taupe knee-hi's, not green half-footed tights.
Fabulously atmospheric--like a Park Avenue vision emerging from the fog of beige Chanel bags..
oh, this is just too kool...
i like the combination of these colors... and her hair makes the whole look even nicer!
I wasn't too sure about this look at first glance but I think I really like it. Not too sure about open toe shoes for winter though but I'm conservative in that area-I bundle up when it's cold...
Love the layering of textures & colours, looks amazing against that background, although my toes would freeze if I didn't have full stockings (or several pairs) on!
Gorgeous though! :)
xx
So chic... the plumage the tights very theatrical. love it!
way to brave the weather and still look so stylish!! i love the neutral tan and grey combined with the pop of green
i love the tights on the flats, especially the colors
her jacket looks so soft! and i love those flats :)
Looks like she popped out of a fairy tale.
Very elvish-ly stylish!
everything but the shoes works... love the pic, though.
I don't like the bulkie dress under that coat it spoils the lines, as for the shoes that look like hotel slippers!!
Like the coat, the girl and her wonderful hair.
beautiful AND eccentric.
Beautiful shot, my friend; absolutely stunning. I love the color palette of this outfit; bold in that its not often played and its even less often that its played with success.
The tights and the shoes are great.
oh yes! Some color!
Love the flat shoes with the tights coming halfway over her foot.
ohh, love the look !
She's got the legs to pull off the elfish green tights look. Love the mini dress, love the coat, love everything from ankles above. It's also hard not to notice that she has such beautiful hair. Not a big fan of peep toe flats though. At first glance I thought she was in a pair of slippers.
I would like to see a grey or black turtleneck and the same colored matching or mismatching pants. Nice black flats, please. Let the coat stand out.
The flats and the tights are the whole point!!
Loving the GREEN tights!
I wish I could see more of that silky-looking top. It looks beautiful. I keep ranting about the beauty of diverse layers of fabric, but honestly, it just adds so much!
a great photo. the mist in the background against the coat looks amazing. I am also liking the green tights - not expected but they work well.
the shoes.. I am not sure about.
LOVE the green tights!
lovin' the coat! <3

I very curious to see more of that dress she's wearing..
her shoes look a lot like the typical spanish "alpargatas" very creative sense of style!
http://moneasywardrobe.com
Soooo nice! the texture of that coat...
Awesome! The teal, grey, and peach--and that beaming smile--look so fresh and springy with that misty background!
Dying with curiosity about the feathers. What is that?
I'm not gonna say I have a problem with the AESTHETICS of her shoe choice, but I hope her feet are warm enough for her. Beauty is NOT pain, and it's important to take care of your feet (I wouldn't have liked to see her in a 4-5 inch heel, either).
Such a beautiful photo - both the atmosphere and the subject. I think I'm developing a bit of a crush on her...
Your blog is amazing! I'm so sorry to have discovered it so late, I kept hearing about it and never entering and now i can't stop.Thank you!
yessss, running out for some groceries, very ny..
i always mix it up w/similar mentality..sweats, penny loafers, my 1/4 beige trench. keep 'em guessing if you're coming from the office or gym
Everything looks good other than the shoes!!!
She looks fabulous! I love the green footless tights. I wonder, though, are her feet cold? That is not a criticism of her outfit or its weather/season-appropriateness. She looks faboo and is a grown woman who can determine whether or not she needs socks.
I'm certain this comment cements me in the "prematurely concerned with matters most often left to the more aged" category...
well, she looks wonderfully disheveled.
love the coat, not so sure about those shoes
Shoes are the foundation on which we stand, figureativly and literally. Her foundation is inadequate and it's causing the whole building to crumble. The shoes look like house slippers and it makes the dress look like pantaloon pajamas and the coat like a ratty, old robe. What happened? Her color palette alone suggests she's smarter and more sophisticated than that.
i love those green leggings...
I love this, her hair, the colours. Deep green feels wonderful again. Thank you for this one!
haha I love the combi of this amazing coat and these funny slippers :)
ooh, you're finally on the UES!
eugenia is so pretty. LOVE the coat. not so sure about the rest...
eugenia is so pretty. LOVE the coat. not so sure about the rest...
FYI - the leggings are margiela, and they're on sale at eluxury.com
And i love the entire look. she looks like she has a very interesting story.
i love how it seems as though in each of your photos that you perfectly encapsulate the essence of a person....its amazing
Is this Mary Louise Parker? Love the whole outfit.
i'll take the LES tights look (below) over the UES tights look. one can buy expensive stuff and throw it all together, but it does not make a look. sorry sart!
also, people, what's with the tights and short top look? sure its the recession and there's a scarcity of many things, but do we need peterpans walking around?
The outfit is interesting (not one of my favorites but still intriguing) but the shoes are dumpy and bring the whole look down.
What I love about this blog, is that I cannot peg any photo to a particular year or season. That is TRUE style and inspiration !!
LOVE her coat, no so much the lower half - though the color of the tights are a great compliment to the tone of the coat. She reminds me of a ballerina who ran outside for a smoke.
Not the right shoes for the weather or outfit. Open-toed flats in winter?
super photo, super composition, super looking chic, but it kinda looks like she is wearing slippers?
what a betty, she is my girl crush
I love the flats/stirrups... you gotta have something that is a little off, a little more or less determined than the rest of the outfit!
beautiful!!! everything is beautiful!!!!
Congrats on your article in MR. It was a nice surprise while flipping through the pages of the 'downfall' of jean sales and the endless adds for magic to see you're lovely face!
she' wearing a slippers?...
love the coat..it's so warm ah..
in love with her hair and her tights! ;)
It's beautiful and weird! I love it! If we don't wear things in an interesting and unusual way once in a while, what is the point?
Most of the outfit is great, but the shoes are tragic.
Hi-Lo! American Apparel tights! I have them, and I've been wondering what is the best shoes to wear them with, but I'm not sure about the complimentary hotel slippers...
What a wonderful and dramaric setting! I love this photo, really great! Thanks!
What in life is better than shoes? :) i love.
cold feet aiaiaimgreat background and love the tights
That's kool. She's like an elfin fairy.
I love how she matches the moss green stirrup tights with the green feathers on her dress.
This is one of my favorite photographs of yours... well done!
I am always struck by the consistent quality of your photographic work - relaxed and formal at the same time, and always there is this intimate hyper connection with your subjects. Love the honest expression from this beautiful girl.
Thanks!
Alex
what a sweetheart. - love the shoe choice.
Adore the color of her tights first thing I noticed. She looks like an elder Leighton Meester (they both have beady eyes :)...
this picture just made my day! wonderful backround and THOSE colours!!!!
i love her look! but I don't understand why she is wearing summer shoes! it makes me cold... great leggings <3
love the leggings
xx
Not a fan of the tights/slippers look (especially not with a fur coat) BUT it's all groovy, because you spotted her on Park Ave/UES, where it's extremely rare to see anyone dressed with any originality. That's what makes me love this picture.
Oh no. Come on...Of course the photo composition is excellent but the flats are atrocious and the hair is lacking attention. This is so wanna be French.
She's a sexy woman, her clothes are great, the background is incredible... her shoes make me want to cry a river named Disillusion.
I agree with Jane about the tights and flats. Some of your posts are about fashion and some are about personal style, like this. Stop complaining about the flats in the cold etc. you people and just appreciate an idiocyncratic look! It's what makes life interesting.
gossip girl?
Eureka! Now I know what to wear with peep toe and d'orsay shoes when I want my legs covered: stirrup tights! Thank you, young lady.
And this is my kind of slightly "off", unexpected style. I especially love the greys of her coat and shoes combined with that wonderful green.
Peter Pan style ! I love that !
Would love to see what is hiding under that coat, it looks like an great top or dress!
It's refreshing to see a successful Mexican represented in the media. She's beautiful, and those "house-slippers" are cute.
should have worn the heels beau.
LOVE the tights!
This has a Blair Waldorf/Gossip Girl quality to it for me.
LOVE THIS!!!! VERY CUTE! The color of the green and the light peach color are gorgeous. Very romantic, very in. XOXO
www.ahauteaparty.blogspot.com
Super nice photo. The steamy background is really cool.
I love this woman's outfit, except maybe the Grandpa Simpson slippers? But who am I to say.....
The shoes????
It's all very Grey Gardens to me.
Mist Smoke~~ Very refreshing!
Great style- lovely picture especially because of the haze in the background.
Concerning the fur dicussion: I think it´s okay to wear fur if it´s vintage- otherwise it´s better not to wear fur than fake one- that mostly looks cheap!
I wish I could conivnce myself to life those shoes....but naaah.
Beautiful picture! The steam works so perfectly with her look.
Very artistic use of colored tights.
Ladybird, she's wearing the thakoon bloomer romper...saw it on shopbop the other day. She pulls it off really well!
Very good photo you have here..
I like your post friend.
And that coat is sooooo fab on her.
And i really love her smile,it is nice to visit your blog always..
Hope to see you on my blog too..=)
regardless of the appropriateness of her open toed shoes, i think the general demeanor of the woman combined with the softness of the textures and colors makes her look very convincingly stylish.
the shoes are perfect! can't you appreciate the unexpected? i love a mysterious element. perfect.
she has such beautiful hair! and that outfit is fabulous. Green tights are really coming back (or into for the first time?) fashion
I really love this outfit! I, too, wish I could see what she is wearing underneath...looks like a lined taffeta bubble dress? With feathers up top? I admit, I'm not a fan of the shoes but oh, well, that's what makes us all fashionably different. xo
To anyone curious about the feathers I believe you can purchase that piece from pixie market. They have a website as well. It would be under accessories.
Stunning hair!!
That beautiful coat with those pied piper tights is a brilliant combo, very witty.
As for the shoes... not my taste either but it's colour matching the collar of the coat that makes everything else work.
Nice work!
I love this girl.
I wish we had an under-the-coat shot.
Too intriguing.
D=
Gossip Girl!
I love her smile and whatever that foggy smokey stuff is in the backround. Cool
Heels would be hot because those flats are not.
