He looks cool! I love the bag he's holding....

Blogger TMFA said ... (11:48 AM) :

nightshots can be beautiful!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:56 AM) :

nice casual outfit. is this sweater by h&m?

Blogger Jack Daniel said ... (11:57 AM) :

Did he really just came back from the Gym?
Looking really dapper. Haha.

Blogger Michael said ... (11:57 AM) :

The colours work, but I'm not loving the outfit itself...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:57 AM) :

he's cute, but that just looks awkward

Blogger Unknown said ... (11:58 AM) :

It is possible to do classy comfy, more people should see this picture.

Blogger Unknown said ... (12:04 PM) :

I AM POSTING THE FIRST COMMENT! i like the bag.

Blogger junglesiren said ... (12:06 PM) :

Gym perfection.... but on closer inspection.... are those gym shoes? I don't think so. Maybe he went to a yoga class in which case he wouldn't need a proper sneaker. The bag doesn't look gym-y either.... Hmmmm.... This dude did NOT just come from, nor is he on his way to the gym, Dr. Watson! He is a workout impostor!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:10 PM) :

i like.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:12 PM) :

I can't decide whether It's like the ultimate in lounge wear or athletic at it's chicest... Either was it's exquisite!

Blogger Paolo Manaloto said ... (12:12 PM) :

now thats how you should work out in style.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:16 PM) :

Sweats. Even in Milan it seems, sweats are still sweats.

Blogger KSK said ... (12:20 PM) :

It is natural and expected that an Italian would look smashing even going to the gym...

Blogger Bel said ... (12:21 PM) :

That seems comfortable!!

Blogger L'Hauteur said ... (12:21 PM) :

sooo weird i got the exact same sweater in green at urban outfitters a few years ago...for girl...he still looks great in it!

Blogger sallymandy said ... (12:29 PM) :

Hmm. What's the story here? He's not wearing athletic shoes, and he's carrying a briefcase and what looks like a shopping bag, so although he looks like he's coming from the gym at first glance, maybe not. I love the overall balanced proportions of his combination, which the thick scarf helps. I kind of wish I could figure out if this is an athletic look or not.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:33 PM) :

his scarf and the way he used it is absolutely fab.

Blogger H @ Narnia's Closet said ... (12:35 PM) :

great picture! very creepy.

its amazing how much the scarf adds to this outfit!

Blogger Jo said ... (12:44 PM) :

inspiring. i love how people could turn dowdy gym clothes into something chic, like what McCartney has done for adidas - but this guy takes it one step further, he turned some plain sweats into an outfit!

Blogger diane said ... (12:45 PM) :

Must be cold there, that scarf is wrapped up pretty good. Love the gym bag. xo

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:47 PM) :

I love how his scarf is wrapped. Looks very cozy.

Blogger JEYQ said ... (12:54 PM) :

GREAT lighting!

Blogger UESman said ... (1:02 PM) :

one of the things I always do when going to the gym is take a grey tshirt and tie it like a scarf. Then I pair it with a half-zip sweatshirt....Don't know if I would muck up a nice looking cardigan like this, though (I sweat up a storm!). haha.

Blogger Elena said ... (1:13 PM) :

Amazed how he looks so elegant in swet pants! Great.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:17 PM) :

Wow, the lighting is awesome on this!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:24 PM) :

nice colors but the scarf worries me, all I can think is of the Padaung women who put rings on their necks to make them longer and immobile. I'm chocking right now.

Blogger Stephanie Sabbe said ... (1:46 PM) :

I think I have that shirt:)

Blogger Aussie said ... (2:01 PM) :

those pants look surprisingly flawless on him
I love how more and more men are carrying leather bags.

Blogger An (ex) alien in new york said ... (2:02 PM) :

I love the proportions here. It keeps the look streamlined- without the scarf and the bag, this look wouldn't have 'it'. Well, and the beautiful lighting... but that wasn't brought to the table by him, Sart.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:15 PM) :

That is a whole lot of scarf. He is safe from the guillotine.

Blogger anonwomen said ... (2:16 PM) :

Shades of grey, and the bag! Looks so great makes me reconsider going to the gym.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:18 PM) :

You should take night pictures more often. This is fantastic!

Blogger greenjeans said ... (2:22 PM) :

if this guy beat me up at night in milan i wouldn't even be that bummed...I would just tell everyone the most stylish pugilist ever kicked my ass. I do want his sweatshirt though....

Blogger Butterball said ... (2:39 PM) :

The way he is wearing that scarf is wonderful!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:46 PM) :

First, Great title for the picture, not too many people use dandy to desribe gentleman anymore, but I still do. Also, it seems to me that Italian men don't really use pashmina scarves, they tend to go for cotton, what material was his scarf?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:56 PM) :

more people need to dress like this all the time

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:17 PM) :

nice pants!

Blogger rd. said ... (3:36 PM) :

gym dandy to the rescue...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:42 PM) :

wow how great that someone can look so chic for a workout

Blogger EDUARDO said ... (3:42 PM) :

Just like me :)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:48 PM) :

Can't say that I like the outfit, but that is an amazing picture Sart!

Blogger Unknown said ... (4:04 PM) :

i would like to learn how to be stylish as he is even in informal situations like a gym session!
sissi from italy

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:21 PM) :

WOW the lighting is phenominal

Blogger Eunice said ... (4:27 PM) :

Amazing lighting!

Blogger Julicious Fashionicious said ... (4:39 PM) :

sweet =)

Blogger Julicious Fashionicious said ... (4:41 PM) :

SWEET SWEET=)Looking as he just going to the gym!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:04 PM) :

Yay, someone who is dressed like me: wear pants that look like track pants with shoes that look like sneakers, but are not!! It's reaaly cool. D&G does this a lot. He elevates it very well with the scarf: this dude was NOT going anywhere near a gym with this outfit, you wear this to go shopping or going for lunch.

Energie

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:21 PM) :

finally you have found one look very fitness chic. That style is the new allure for people cool

Blogger Brigadeiro said ... (7:12 PM) :

Such a beautiful photo, and that outfit! Looks infinitely comfortable yet so incredibly stylish, love it!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:17 PM) :

I hope he really just came from the gym. I'm not into the whole gym wear worn as casual wear thing. Even though it looks better with the scarf etc, I still think it's a bit sloppy.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:18 PM) :

A totally chiced-out gym look. His scarf looks like a luxe towel wrapped around his neck. His "sweat pants" appear to be cashmere. His bag and shoes are leather? And of course grays always look so refined and easy. Well done signore!

Blogger green lantern said ... (7:46 PM) :

Cashmere sweat pants?? Freshly showered from the Gym...on the way to through back a pint? I can see it!

Blogger LINnY said ... (7:51 PM) :

The ominous background provides the perfect lighting to highlight the outfit. The powder grey and slate blue have the same intensity as the objects in the background, most notably the crossing path which gives a slight grunginess to the outfit. Excellent fit and very reminiscent of Polo's match collection.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:56 PM) :

Go, GQ Russia, Go!

Blogger IAMTHEANGELNEGRO said ... (9:16 PM) :

SO AMAZING!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:39 PM) :

Nice image... grey on grey on grey.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:40 PM) :

Not feeling the boots, love the scarf though. Is that a B.Son sweater? I have one in black that looks very similar.

Blogger Whistful Wind said ... (9:55 PM) :

like the color combination, and love the scarf.

Blogger Eli said ... (10:17 PM) :

Blogger Sahrex said ... (10:23 PM) :

He is stylish and
looks like very comfortable.

Blogger American Otaku (E is my SL) said ... (1:22 AM) :

i think the only thing id be seen with here would be the bag... yeah, the rest is really not my thing...

Blogger Anya said ... (2:08 AM) :

He looks casual yet active..

Blogger The Voracious Vegan said ... (2:31 AM) :

Fabulous picture, it looks very dreamlike and surreal.

Blogger nookiesoup said ... (5:18 AM) :

i'm a little wary of the sweatpant-material-made-couture idea, and i generally dislike guys in it, especially.
but he just looks comfy and beautiful.

Blogger Kay said ... (7:06 AM) :

My favourite things about this are the way he's tied that scarf, and the way he's wearing those shoes with those trousers.
It works so unbelievably well.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:17 AM) :

It's just a H&M sweater. I have the same one.

Blogger [ fz ] said ... (7:25 AM) :

Very comfy. Best dress in a 16-hr flight!

Blogger soulbitch. said ... (7:28 AM) :

really love the leather bag, but sorry i dont like his trousers. i dont know why, dont fit on him.

Blogger Unknown said ... (9:18 AM) :

oh is it the BOTTEGA VENETA shoes? i think it should be...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:25 AM) :

Great look. As to the shoes, most Gyms I've been to requiere that you change you street shoes before using the equipment. I would guess his workout shoes are in the bag.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:39 AM) :

If he has just been ore are on his way to the gym, he looks surprisingly fresh and have nice clothes:) Like it, which I could look so trendy every time I was heading to the gym!

Blogger secondvurss said ... (12:20 PM) :

OH, just great, Sart....

Now I can't get that damn song out of my head.

(beautiful photo, BTW)

Blogger zincink said ... (3:01 PM) :

one word "comfort"

Blogger James Taylor said ... (3:31 PM) :

Proof that sweats can be stylish. This ragazzo's look is a little bit Club Monaco. I have a pair of heavyweight grey cashmere sweatpants that look and feel great.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:03 PM) :

if he were wearing a skinny pant he'd look like a little edward gorey boy, with the scarf. i like.

Blogger Emily said ... (6:46 PM) :

He looks so great heading to the gym! I love his scarf.. great photo.

Blogger denney said ... (9:42 PM) :

it's hard for me to hate sweatpants when this happens.

Blogger Ryan said ... (10:14 PM) :

He did comfort with such style and ease. When most go to the gym they do not look this put together. I'd totally wear this to the gym.

Blogger Olviya said ... (7:35 AM) :

looks so cosy and comfortable!
and - the most important - very stylish)
