I like this, but I feel chilly. As in cold. Where are your scarf and hat? Isn't Sweden cold?

Blogger anonwomen said ... (3:27 AM) :

I love how the jacket picks up the tones of her hair.

Anonymous LJ Krooker said ... (4:43 AM) :

Her hair just pops vibrantly!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:33 AM) :

I have tried several times to make bulky exposed socks work for me but to no avail. Kudos to her -- it looks marvelous! As does her amazing hair and everything else. And she's NOT SMOKING!!! Yay for not smoking!!! Yes, you can be fashionable without a cigarette.

Blogger Brigadeiro said ... (5:34 AM) :

Oh my! Those booties! Dries Van Noten? Love it!

Anonymous Isobel Saoirse Dylan said ... (6:26 AM) :

She's so preatty, and I like her jacket ans shoes!

Blogger Estelle said ... (6:31 AM) :

This is the fantastic Arvida ! Really love the socks on the jeans, she looks so sweet...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:41 AM) :

love the way she turns her face to the camera.
Tehe haircut fits her.. Beautiful legs. And the shoes - they are great!

Blogger Jorge from W Palm Beach said ... (7:35 AM) :

Love the sh*t kickers! Jorge from W Palm Beach

Blogger J.A.F. said ... (7:38 AM) :

Great jacket but the shoes really make it for me (and the leg warmers).

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:08 AM) :

This hair-do finally is returning! She has a nice suede jacket. Those wedge shoes I will never learn to like, they look too much like hooves.

Blogger Barbara said ... (8:29 AM) :

She's delicious! Her hair and the jacket are just perfect, and I love the background figures with their delicate legs and ice skating vibe, especially the little one in front of her with the white beanie, who looks as though he's skimming along the frozen lake......... BUT I do hate her socks/legwarmers which make her look just like a hillbilly who's just got out of bed - perhaps if they had been a darker colour instead of white they would add to rather than detract from her great look........

Anonymous jem said ... (8:39 AM) :

i love this whole look! her hair is devine, it complements her outfit so much!

Anonymous suzanne nelson said ... (8:57 AM) :

wow! what a great silhouette and layering. Her shoes and jacket are great, she has a beautiful face (that expression!) and cool haircut. The pose, in that elongated S is awesome.
Terrific photo, so cool Sart.

Blogger diane said ... (9:15 AM) :

The hair color, the wedges, the background skaters! Scott, you really are the best. xo

Anonymous suzanne nelson said ... (9:18 AM) :

ps - Sart - your work on is beautiful and inspiring. Stockholmers are great dressers! I like your authour photo too, the intense blue of your scarf is fabulous. It looks as if you took a length of fine cashmere and wound it into a big scarf. Great look.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:27 AM) :

I love how her colour palette (her hair and jacket) are perfectly complemented by the oxidized bronze statue in the distance. Also the asymmetry of her jacket is amazing.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:34 AM) :

arvida!!! shes so hot. So damn cool

Anonymous Becci said ... (9:57 AM) :

EMMMA <3<3<3<3

Blogger Alice X said ... (10:26 AM) :

i love her hair and shoes:) pretty hair too.

Blogger The Concrete Commentator said ... (10:26 AM) :

Her hair is fabulous, and those shoes!

Anonymous Funnigirl said ... (10:30 AM) :

Very few women can pull off that haircut. And color.
Love the shoes even more.

Anonymous carsisa said ... (11:17 AM) :

She absolutely looks great, wonderful outfit, beautiful face and the coloring is superb.

But I'm not a fan of the S posture, I really want to pull her shoulders back to make it an even prettier pose.

Blogger dennie said ... (11:25 AM) :

do her shoes have little studs on the tops of the toe area? fabulous.

Blogger BooKoo said ... (11:54 AM) :

Blogger Mad Hatter said ... (12:09 PM) :

shes great, love the winter look

Anonymous Daisy said ... (12:34 PM) :

Has anyone said this?
Its very Breakfast Club

Blogger Camille said ... (1:19 PM) :

She's beautiful with her little pageboy cut. She reminds me of a tomboyish Cintia Dicker.

Blogger Hyakoukoune said ... (2:34 PM) :

She's lovely yes !
Just don't like the shoes.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:51 PM) :

Love the socks!

Anonymous la sartorialista said ... (3:06 PM) :

I checked out the photos on the Sweden site and they are great, cool style and different from everywhere else. I love the woman in the green and white coat with the brown troll hat!

Blogger John Christopher said ... (3:07 PM) :

OH how I like a gorgeous, well dressed redhead...with a touch of androgyny even.

Blogger Kevin Stupfel said ... (4:36 PM) :

i like how the shoes lift her legs almost like heels, this makes the whole skinny jeans thing actually work for once

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:41 PM) :

as other have said, the jacket + the hair = perfection.

Blogger STUDIOPHOTO1 said ... (4:41 PM) :

a Jean Seberg look in " a bout de souffle " de Jean Luc Godard, just missing Herald Tribune...
I love the hair cut and the nice face with this splendid mouth.
Nice man suede oversized jacket,I wish we could see the bag, nice that there's no scrf, the neck is superb!!!

Blogger Shaynuh said ... (4:56 PM) :

Want the shoes!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:05 PM) :

Interesting jacket, the cut at the bottom is quite peculiar but very flattering for her. Socks over jeans rarely work but look pretty nice here. This is one of the nicest haircuts I've seen in a long time, suits her perfectly.

Blogger Jack Daniel said ... (5:06 PM) :

this redhead is looking fierce!!

Anonymous Zo said ... (5:37 PM) :

Arvida is ace and so is her new lovely haircut!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:11 PM) :

I LOVE her haircut.

Anonymous crowsfeet said ... (12:02 AM) :

I'm coming back in my next life as a redhead with legs up to my armpits.

Are those horns on her shoes??

Anonymous Sara Lua said ... (3:31 AM) :

This girl is mythic. I'm reminded of choir boys with angelic faces.

Blogger indie said ... (3:57 AM) :

love her!

Anonymous giz said ... (6:18 AM) :

she reminds me of molly ringwald x)
pretty in pink'09

Anonymous Sundström said ... (10:17 AM) :

Sweden is not that cold, it's about 0°C (32°F) right now. (Btw did you know that Celsius was Swedish?) But if you wear longjohns in May you might find it cold... I don't. I'm disappoined of the winters nowadays. It's late January and there's hardly any snow at all... not as when we were kids in the eighties...Green House effect? I dont know, but I hope with a new president that USA finally will sign the Kyoto Protocol...
This photo was taken in Kungsträdgården ("Kings garden"), Charles XIII-statue in the background. This girl is beautiful, lovely haircut and color, but I don't like her clothes that much.

Blogger Veronicahhh said ... (10:35 PM) :

Arvida is such an inspiration. Especially that she dyed her hair like that as a dare.

just to link to her site..

because it really is wonderful.

Blogger Alex said ... (12:41 AM) :

Very 1990s. I love it.

Blogger MarieAnn said ... (9:00 AM) :

Aah, the hair, the hair! Love it..

Blogger Tina T. said ... (12:36 PM) :

Her jacket and everything else about her stuns!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:06 PM) :

On the shoes: they're H&M actually. I have them in brown 'leather' with brass lace holes and they are super.

Blogger Anya said ... (6:18 AM) :

The boots, the boots!

Blogger Linda Famularcano said ... (12:34 PM) :

I'm so loving those shoes the most! (^_^)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:24 PM) :

She simply rocks. Awesome.

Blogger Magdalena said ... (1:08 AM) :
