Comments on "On the Street....Pink & Grey, Paris"
I really like that. It´s kinda classic and elegant. Perfect for a business day in Paris.
I *love* the dusky colours with the richness of the leather. This is serious.
She looks really fab in those pastels, not an easy colour to pull off...I'm also in love with her earrings...
Great bag too, makes the look a bit more fierce ...

so pretty an soft.
It's a very pretty look, but this woman doesn't project a sweet, feminine image and I'd have liked to see her add an element that reflects her seeming ballsy confidence. Perhaps the sunglasses were meant to do that, but right now round glasses are too trendy to be meaningful.
Or could be she thought that the classic cut of her clothes--and the structured bag (Choo?)--were enough to offset the girlishness of the pink. To my eye, at least, the pink's in charge here. She needs a signal of "good bitch playing girly girl" to really make this work for her.
Great shot, though. And despite the seeming negativity of my comments (frankly, I'm seeing myself in her) I give her props for capturing my attention.
beautiful! I love her hair too.
hi!
i just love how this two colors fit together =), but, above all I love her sus glasses, any information about them?
cheers frOm Spain*
Parisian flawless dressing.
Love it, so elegant and thoughtful.
i like the way how the end of her scarf blends with her trousers
does it bother anyone else when people don't remove the labels from their scarves??
(it's a pet peeve of mine...that i just had to share) :)
ps: loving the new photo format!
The pinky ring... J'adore!
Great match indeed-
I totally love soft(pale)pink
And grey is always difficult to match with-so-Well done!
The bag and the earrings give a touch of fashion style-
The result is not fashion and not to classic, perfect balance!good*
I desperately want that bag!
OMG. She is Classic Woman. I love everything. The cut, the colours, the hair, the glasses, her 'way', and especially that bag, which I covet quite desperately.
*whistles* That's a bold look! Love every of it!
so nice to see a Parisian sans cigarette.
Leave it to a french woman to wear heavenly pastels in a sea of black during winter. Bravo!
wow...such a great blend of colors, and i luv that pink overcoat! it's so hard to find really great warm winter coats...
I love the way she way able to pull off a mixture of textures. So pretty in pink and grey makes her look sweet yet gutsy by using strong accessories like her dark glasses and rich brown leather bag.
Its a combination not many could pull off but she did it flawlessly.
Her style, and her hair are fabolous!
i love her outfit! pure class and elegance!!
Money written all over her
pink and grey are a really strong combo, but I agree a darker grey would have created a bit more drama. Or perhaps if the scarf was a different fabric, a silk, it would break it up. Georgous proportions.
just a side note, do we really have to be on the phone all the time?
Perfect lady!!
When I'm 70, I want a woman like this.
Great, great shot, Scott!
love how all the colours blend in
that pink and grey works out very well, she looks Important
She looks effortlessly cool.
I wish she had removed the tag...love the pink and gray.
For Anonomous of 10:32:
Perhaps she is wearing fierce shoes, stiletto boots of black lacquer or leopard?
gray and pink- what a sweet color combination.
I love this combination! Her outfit is very chic!
She looks so elegant!
Bonjour,
Oui, she is charmante in the rose et gris. Les lunette du soleil {the sunglasses} trè chic.

I love the Parisian style!! Flawless!!
xx
Luckystrike Louboutin
She puts it together well, but get off the phone already. So annoying.
I want to be her when I grow up.
Sunglasses are by Chloé, the model is Myrte.
Love grey & pink together, as said before, it's very soft and elegant. But I think it's also Parisian charming that makes all the outfit work so well.
She's very beautiful and elegant, and I love her bag and coat! Fantastic shot, it looks like a fabulous moment! Congratulations... Rebecca
Gah! Why do people leave tags on scarves??? Otherwise I love the drape of the jacket. Looks v expensive.
Anon11:08, I think the sunglasses are Chloe.
Gorgeous and luxurious. So rich and effortless looking. If there's one key to French dressing, it's that the outfit may have taken hours to pull together in front of the mirror, but it never looks like it did.
i love that coat. the color in winter is unexpected but amazing
xxo
She's so riche, I just love it.
I don't like the bag, though. The hardware, specifically the rings, looks dated. Still, I'm nit-picking. The over all effect is smashing. I'm DYING to know what shoes she's wearing. I'm going to guess chocolate Louboutin flats with her pants EXACTLY the perfect length.
anon: i bet the tag was deliberately left on.
luxe, i love the well ironed pants. i would never have picked them
however i think the slightly overstyled hair and not quite right sunglasses could be improved.
i just like all the ohsotouchable pastels
Nice... I miss Paris :)
Say hi to Stephen Gan in the background ;)
very elegant, I love the coat
Great photo, Sart. She's hot. Very much so! I love the soft pink of her coat and how it matches with her dark brown bag and glasses. But I'm fascinated by her beautiful hair. Wow!
Beautiful coat, with cloth covered buttons. And the gray scarf and pant look gorgeous.
The real star, is the woman herself.....she looks like such a star, without overtly flashy colors or cuts.
Tres Jolie
Haha, this woman makes me laugh.. Although, I do like her Chloe sunglasses!
first thing i noticed are the chloe sunglasses.
it doesn't look effortless... not that there's anything wrong with that. each piece matches another. i think she looks appropriately polished and expensive.
i love her clothes, but the lips, hair, and sunglasses ruin the look for me. the lips should be something classic.....maroons, browns, etc. the hair should be up. and the glasses should be more boxy and BLACK
but the shot itself is fabulous
sart, youve captured her movement well. she could by any kind of a modern day woman
Wow, love the pastel colors and that coat is just amazing. I like how the scarf has a complimentary color of blue and orange. Overall, she just looks Fabulous!
Does anyone know what brand the coat is? Im in love with it...
I think all Parisian women seem to look quite lovely.
However, I do agree with the earlier comment about removing the label on the scarf! I thought I was the only one with this pet peeve! It sorts of distracts from the perfect look and quality of the fabrics and the outfit. It's like forgetting to take the label from the sleeve of an off-the-rack suit jacket. Even if the scarf is cashmere or has washing instructions, you should assume it is "dry clean only" and remove the label.
Does anyone know the brand of that coat. Im in love with it...
love lovelove this,
she looks unreal, so distinguished and sophisticated, love that scarf with the two colours looks brills!
The combination of grey and soft pink is perfect.
The Problem is, the combnation is much to soft for her. Stronger colours would match her face and hair much better, and would give her a fresher appearance.
Same for accessoires.
One person already stated it, a silk scarve f.e., in her colours could break it.
Can anyone tell who her bag is by?? A previous commenter guessed Choo, but it doesn't look like it to me.
I agree with "Anonymous(first)" : the outfit is great but with more unexpected sunglasses (or none) it should have more personality. It seems to have been arranged by a professionnal stylist instead of the woman who wears it. Very nice shot.
I liked the colour-combo (pale-pink, pale-grey and honey-yellow together with the darkbrown leather) however... I didn't like the buttons on the coat; they should have been another colour or material and I also think (sorry!) that the complete look was a bit too much 'rich housewife out shopping'. In other words, I didnt find the look particulary interesting or inspiring. But like I said, nice colours though. And I would not say no to that nice soft leather bag... :-)
I've always liked pink and gray, even as a kid. As I got older though, I thought it was too cute to pull off well. Nice to see the combination in a smart-looking outfit. Thank you.
Clearly from this shot, it's not what colours one wears, but how it is worn.
I'm not a fan of pink and when I do wear the colour, it is only with hesitation first, then reluctance. But I've always loved seeing grey and pink together.
This lady accented the cool pink and grey with a warm touch of chocolate brown. (=
Personal p.o.v: While I've been seeing texture, patterns, layers, cuts and accents more on your site nowadays, the colours on this lady (that caught your eye) is a breath of fresh air; maybe it's because I respond stronger to colours and that I've been waiting for something lighter amidst the heavy and sombre tones of winter. Thank you.
She reminds me of Jemima Khan. The look would've worked with a grey, a camel or even a black coat imo: yet this pale pink (just as pale icey blue) makes it stand out. Love the two-tone scarf.
not to be contrarian, but I actually like it that she left on the label. It adds a bit of nonchalance - just like the uncombed curls. Otherwise the total look becomes too precious.
J'adore!
Parisian has their inborn fashion sense to get dressed as easy as turning one's hand over. But, always get stunning outfit!
That's so charming! Busy women will always be a good content for a picture =)
She doesn't seem to be French, but rather American.
You forgot "orange"
She is soo chic and fabulous. The colors are so pretty.
cathyphillipsfashion.blogspot.com
very rich looking... in a good way.
I think there's a Chanel paper-bag on her shoulder!
I like the combination, is very sweet and chic.
No, I second that emotion. Everything about her look is perfect...except that she left the label on her scarf. And unfortunately for me, that's the first thing I noticed! But she still seems like a cool lady.
Sorry guys, but this beautiful women is not a "Parisienne", she is the perfect incarnation of the Milanese women, tourist in Paris.
Those colors, those hairs and the sunny complexion is typical from the italians classic women of north of Italy. Please check your classics!
Anyway, she is sexy.
Caroline
pink, tan... and orange!
money can buy a stylist, but not common sense!
oh... yes, a classic outfit.
she is fabulous!!
she makes me excited for pastels this fall :]
the coat or the sunglasses, she HAS to choose!
I love pink 'n grey!
She is absolutely charming!
Have you noticed the matching earrings?
she´s looking like j.lo - just older - i like her bag very much!!
love the combination: so elegant!
hmmm...lovely!
if it's the girl I know, she looks like her..she always wore this beautiful colors, but her style is much better!!!!
gotta ask her:)
She looks beautiful - if a little tango'd - I'm another who loves the bag, and the coat looks like a beautifully soft and slouchy take on a classic.
However I'm surprised by all the comments about the scarf label...I always leave mine on...never knew I was inadvertently offending so many fashionatas!
I LOVE her anger
Classic! I love the way she has blended these colors. And the deep brown leather bag gives some spice to the sweet! Great pic!
jenn: the bag's from Chloe
She totally reminds me of my mom.
I agree that she doesn't look French AT ALL - if she isn't Italian, I'll eat my hat!
it's a real double face coat, this is couture, baby !
Perfection. Each item is nice but together its very well thought out. The tones of pink and grey are perfectly combined.
I was shying away from pink coats but I have been shown the way!
pink and grey--well coordinated!!!
very plain...nothing unusual
There really isn't much that's better than pink and gray = so flattering on every skin tone.. So classic. I have a pink Duster coat that's 100 years old from Calvin Klein, with a pair of fabulous gloves and a gray scarf I feel like a million bucks in it..
Oh la la, the drama; she could be ordering a pizza for all we know and she just looks great doing it. I hate cell phones, even though I bet Agnelli had one next to his cigarette case.
same sunglasses can be found at Zara ;)
Everything I miss seeing when I am stuck in my hometown and not on the streets. Perfection.
Gorgeous and chic.
love the colour combinations, but more than that...the textures. Love seeing some refined textures that have been carried through the entire look right down to her handbag..
Wow - I look at this and wonder, what's she talkin' about?
http://whitleykros.myshopify.com/
woow, it´s amazing xP
very nice color combo. something for women to consider. as a man, not in my bag of goodies. but what i do wear often is a perennial favorite: grey and brown. i remember many years ago GQ published (a letter I believe) and noted that grey & brown were "ok" and that the Duke of Windsor make i "acceptable". Since then it's been in my arsenal. here is think is another complementary color set.
Is very pinkchic!!!
The scarf she is wearing looks the same as the one on the man on Bowery (NYC) in the picture below..although he is wearing his sans tag. The same grey on one side, beige on the other? Just an observation.
everyone seems to like her so much... but i'm finding she looks rather like anyone and everyone, and wheres the fun in that?
she looks lovely, grey and pink are so nice together
The outfit is beautiful and I absolutely adore the bag, but I don't really like them together. But that bag that bag I need it. Anyone know the designer?
its not a coat shes wearing look at the way it folds at the knee its a light wool fabric a cardi designed to look like a coat I love the look. Pity we don't get to see the shoes
I love the pink n gray combo and the sunglasses and bag is so chic! It is my fav look :)
Love her look! She looks like money. My only criticism is that the coat is for spring, not winter. It doesn't even have lining. More power to her if she can look that good and not freeze her baguettes off.
If I were a girl...i would envy her....the hair the gesture......the COAT..the scarf....even her nails.. i wanna smell her now..... so chic....
Hot! I want what she has! I am no longer complete. Help!
What about the cool guy in the background on the right....should have got a closeup of his shoes!
She looks like a woman that doesnt care, because she knows that she's incredibly beautiful.i love it.
I absolutely love this whole outfit. The Chloe Mytre 2119 sunglasses are my favourite part about the look love them!
Sophisticated and Chic...well dressed woman
