Comments on "On the Street.... Spinning Class, Florence"
Brilliant one, Scott! :)
And love the gentleman. As well as the stylish bike.
stylishly staying warm and getting around!
I see you're in Florence at the moment, I'm going in two weeks. Can you recommend any cool places to visit, day or night? I want to be inspired too...
hehe, funny title, yes:)
And may I add that your blogg is absolutely amazing!!
love S,

well, this is my kind of spinning....:-)
I just discovered your blog and it's brilliant. Incredible photography. I'll be coming back.
Clever you!
creepy! i wore this SAME look today on in women's wear.
wow.
titles are my favorite part :)
haha i sometimes dislike title-ing posts also. i try so hard to think of something clever, and sometimes, i just can't.
I love the quilted coat.
Anyone know anything about the brown suede shoes/boots?
Haha, perfect title... what a great shot too. Well dressed and fit - perfect!
Yet another example of riding a bike as a stylish, ageless activity rather than just for the super-fit! Excellent pic.
I noticed that the european men like their pants to hit at/or above their ankles. I haven't seen this yet in the states...
Never seen a better-dressed cyclist. Love it.
It is love, even his bicycle is perfect!
yessss great title :D
i love the detailing on his jacket
I like this color, great photo. What is going on with these ankle-beaters?
that bike is gorgeous!!!
From Florence: Two incredibly handsome, fifty-ish men in just two days. What am I doing in Chicago?
Witty title true.
I think it so well done how the clothes are the same colour but in different shades as are the accesories. Such a simple but exciting look
C.
The man on the bicycle has class indeed. Love, love, love the coat.
This one is so very good!
I am getting really excited about your book!
very good title
=)
The scarf is too short and the shoes too "ordinary". The jacket and gloves are great though.
gorgeous - the man and the photo!
love your blog
kk
Its always such a treat to see style pass by on a bike.
Recently, while in New Orleans, the most stylish men I saw were leisurely cruising by on bikes. They make it look so easy.
Great!
I wanna be so stylish like him when i get older!
There´s no doubt, thesartorialist is the best blog about street fashion.
yuk yuk
excellent shot! i love these classic looking bikes
i love this so much...
my dad have same jacket with this man, wow i can't believe it
:-)
I like this kind of comments from you. You did it pretty good! ;-)
Okay, so I'm in my late 20's and this is the hottest man I've seen in weeks...
so great, so cool
Congratulations for your recent book!!! Here, in Spain the news are publishing the notice today! I'm coolhunter too, and I would like to travel more than I do..So thanks a lot for show us your views and pics. KiSSS!!
Anyone know what kind of bike that is?
It's funny, whatever that is in his pocket is what made the whole thing click for me. when I covered it up the whole look seemed wanting somehow.
Shoes, jeans, gloves. Perfect.
Very italian.
I just love Florence, one of the most beautiful cities in the world. And some of the most stylish people, of course.
It is unreal to me that men bike around in Italy looking like this. I know it's true though because I've seen it first hand. I want the boots!
Chic and Dandy.
Bicycle too!
I'd like to see people riding on the bicycle like him on the street anytime;)
Great coat! There is something about quilting
good pic, good title, handsome man.
kss
;-)
That's a really great bike, he's on. Clever title, Sart.
Bonita bicicleta!!!
Beauty bicycle!!!
Me gusta tu blog!!!
I like your blog!!!
ADIOS!
BYE!
LOVE it.
Love the quilted coat. I'm guessing that's a hat in his pocket, considering the heavy coat, gloves, and the scarf.
The boots must be hard on the ankles when cycling. I'd choose something with a lower cut. But, keep the brown suede. Brown and blue are meant for each other.
He looks Dutch....
And what's that white thing in his pocket?
Very witty.
ma che carino!!
adorable♥ I just want to hug him
where i can buy that bike !!!!!!!!!!!!! ajjaja
Scream if you wanna go faster!

what i love about your blog so much is you don't waste time trying to be clever. that and you notice the fine details that most people miss.
I have recently brought a shorter style jacket from barbour. Haven't stopped wearing it since i got it!
He looks great, and i love the small scarf poking through.
As for titles, nothing ever seems forced when done by you. If it comes naturally then do it. If not then dont!If people don't like the fact you aren't witty or entertaining all the time, then they are here for the wrong reasons. Your photography mixed with the subjects you choose is why I tell everyone to have a look. Keep up the great work, really looking forward to what you have got coming up for the year. No pressure, but your site is my style inspiration at the moment, so shoot sharp, and shoot well!
Oh, you and your bike shots! ;)
Italians have been wearing these quilted coats since the 80's --most often in shorter versions. I find it hard to judge if they look classic, or merely conservative. However, I do know I love his suede boots.
These shots really nicely capture the relaxed and chic way the Florentines dress. And there's often an interesting bohemian element there, too.
Add this to your "Bicycles" category!
How about Quilty Florence Biker?
I realllllly want a Schwinn bike. A cherry red Schwinn bike. I'm serious.
Anyone know anything about the shoes? Details... details...
Thanks!
Haha great title! Very witty! Your photos are always so iconic!
How do you do it?!
love it.
This just shows that great use of colour doesn't have to involve more than one base colour... Whoever said that boys dressing in blue had gone out of fashion?
I love this blog, never misses a trick.
