On the Street.... Peter, Milan & Paris

Peter always seems to be around during the most boring moments before a fashion show or outside with me during the most boring shows.

During one of the more boring shows in Paris (I don't remember which one) we dared him to let us shoot his tattoos in the Jardin des Tuileries. It was very cold, very funny and very brave.

During the Blumarine show in Milan, Peter decided it would be fun to run up and down the extremely sloped bicycle track where the show was being held. We decided the resulting photos looked more Michael Jackson than daredevil.

At first glance, pic 3 looked like Heath Ledger!!

Other than that, Peter looks cool. I especially like his 'retro' camera :-)

What a wonderful subject--his coloring, his moves and face, his clothing, and of course tattoos. Thanks for taking us behind the scenes in this way.

Just looking at this guy you start living him! The clothes, the shoes, the hat, the camera, the tattoos, the sunglasses. Everything looks great!

Are you implying that Michael Jackson is no daredevil?

Blogger ricola said ... (9:11 AM) :

OK. I need to move to Paris. Or at least intern somewhere. I need to reabsorb some of the style these guys know par coeur.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:12 AM) :

Handsome and cool, if he'd just lose the hat. Hard to take seriously with that hat.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:15 AM) :

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:38 AM) :

fun pictures. the bottom one is wonderful-- his look could seem so "right now" and really hipster and overly trendy with the extreme skinnys and the raybans and plaid and cardigan and oxfords but he does it so well that it looks original and great.

Blogger melange muse said ... (9:43 AM) :

He seems like a fun guy!
I really like the last photo.

Blogger Dan in Richmond said ... (9:44 AM) :

The tattoos look like a work in progress. I have this feeling he will keep adding...

I think you caught the moment and the man just right though.

Blogger Remah said ... (10:24 AM) :

I love the last picture, it's so funny! I love his jeans and his shoes. Great combination. And his hat tops off his whole outfit. Great photos Scott!

Blogger londondog said ... (12:00 PM) :

Lovely pic! However, his look is too reminiscent of a Hoxton boy for me to be exceptional. And he looks a lot like Blake Fielder-Civil (Amy Winehouse's hubby)

Cool camera - looks like a an old Russian Zorki. Camera envy Sart? ;-)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:03 PM) :

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:03 PM) :

I'm pretty sure the knuckle tattoos say "Hold Fast"

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:08 PM) :

He is adorable (I'm old enough to say that about young men now, sadly). I especially like the last photo!

Nice camera!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:50 PM) :

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:55 PM) :

so tired, trying to look vintagey-hipster. Never was a big fan of buttoning all the way up either. I like the flannel though.

Blogger MARIA H said ... (3:57 PM) :

FYI: those "extremely sloped bicycle tracks" are called Velodromo (technical name)

Blogger Unknown said ... (4:45 PM) :

I thought it was Blake Winehouse (Amy Winehouse's hubby)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:48 PM) :

You camera geeks realize it's the M8, a digital Leica, right?

Blogger SML23 said ... (4:51 PM) :

Great pics of a gorgeous and funny man. But, please, someone tell me, WHEN will men stop wearing skinny jeans? They are so contrived and so unflattering. I could go on for days about this. And yes, I do need to get a life : ) !

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:19 PM) :

what a cutie
i like his outfit in the last picture!

Blogger Peter Miszuk said ... (9:18 PM) :

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:02 AM) :

oh my... i've been hit by the lovebug.

is he parisian?

Blogger Luuworld said ... (2:59 AM) :

Skinny jeans are effortlessly supercool and slick. They are like the sushi of jeans.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:02 AM) :

nice shirt

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:42 AM) :

If I had a M8 and someone mistook it for a Zorki I'd be weeping for a week.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:05 AM) :

the jeans in the first 2 pics are ksubi... cut is called joey, colour is mikey blue or something similar... i used to own them :P

Blogger J. said ... (11:13 AM) :

I love it! He owns the look...even if its a little bit of a tired style. Nonetheless, I still want to frolic in Milan and Paris with Peter, his energy makes the shots alive more than anything.

Blogger Jimena said ... (11:24 AM) :

Blogger KAT! said ... (12:19 PM) :

Wow - Peter is hot! :)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:24 PM) :

His "retro" camera is a Leica rangefinder, + $6,000.00.

Blogger dwashington314@gmail.com said ... (11:03 PM) :

I must be having a Grumpy Stilsken day 'cause this is just nothing special to me. He's got skinny jeans, tats and a funky camera...not really "brave".

I need a nap.
