Hair, Bones, and some beautiful draping. Quite Angelic.

Blogger TMFA said ... (8:27 AM) :

I really love the dress and the drape of it. But is that an H&M bracelet she is wearing?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:38 AM) :

I am happy to see that when I go to rio later this month that my natural wave will be ok with all that humidity!

Blogger John-Bryan Hopkins said ... (8:42 AM) :

A real beauty.

Yes the hair and the monotone color scheme is wonderful.

My favorite though is the dress.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:07 AM) :

Sart, Your globe-trotting has resulted in a real smorgasbord of lookers... the contrast between the stark grey of Moscow and the lush tan of Brazil is a real treat. How are you going to top this?

Blogger Maman said ... (9:21 AM) :

Tout en longueur...sublime beauté Carioca.

Blogger Unknown said ... (9:21 AM) :

She's got a beautiful face. I like where the belt sits - it's not really typical for it to rest on the hips - because, even though it's not the slimmest part of her figure, it doesn't make her look any less thin.

Blogger Jaime Randle said ... (9:24 AM) :

Stunning face, hair, dress and backdrop. And look at those GAMS!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:45 AM) :

This lady is absolutely beautiful. In response to Michelle's comment, I honestly do not understand why someone would be ashamed of one's own natural wavy hair texture? Working against your natural hair rather than with it is old-fashioned thinking, no? Europeans seem to have a more modern attitude about their looks.

Blogger Unknown said ... (10:18 AM) :

Beautiful dress and belt, she looks quite great...and you're right, her hair is fantastic!
X

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:33 AM) :

Interesting bone structure..the outfit's ok.

Blogger Barbara said ... (10:39 AM) :

This photo looks like something out of a magazine. I definitely agree that it is all about the hair, but look at those legs!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:43 AM) :

The dress suits her so well and she looks so amazing! The hair matches the dress and the picture is very pretty! Plus her arms and legs are gorgeous, so smooth.

Blogger norawoah said ... (10:47 AM) :

She is a stoic beauty! Wonderful hair and color scheme!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:48 AM) :

Different cultures, different ways to dress.
Your hair is beautiful. Doesn´t matter if is natural or not.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:55 AM) :

I love the 70's glam vibe in both her hair and what she's wearing. It seems classic for a beach setting.

I also want her flats.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:27 AM) :

I am in love now. She's so beautiful....

Blogger whyioughtta said ... (11:36 AM) :

Geez. Gorgeous much?

That dress is heavenly.

Women in Brazil are obsessed with hair. The longer (and blonder) the better. Women here like their hair as long as possible (Penelope Cruz in the recent "Vicky Cristina Barcelona" and Blake Lively could serve as references).

Shorter hair is still a taboo for brazillian women. It is very uncommon to see a woman wearing her hair above her shoulders. Most of them dont have the confidence, they feel less of a woman if their hair isn´t super-long.

Man here are quite obsessed with super-long hair as well.

Brazillians are a lot about sexiness. More than simetrical features, an angelic face, perfect bone structure, eyes, noses, good skin and the greek ideals of beauty, they go for "sexy".

Sometimes you see girls with perfect faces, fabulous features that go by totally unoticed around here. That´s not what´s valued over brazillian standars. Natalie Portman, Keira Knightley, Eva Green, Jennifer Connelly probably wouldn´t make much of a fuss here. Its all about a very "in your face" sexyness.

They go for the Marylins, not the Audreys.

Blogger TEXTSTYLES said ... (12:09 PM) :

so gorgeous
and that hair!

Blogger Olviya said ... (12:19 PM) :

:)
nude look is perfect for the beach, i think)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:28 PM) :

I like everything about her and that dress is perfect for her

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:39 PM) :

Et si il n'y avait que les cheveux....

Blogger mette said ... (12:41 PM) :

I agree with someone earlier, who said that her skin is smooth. It is also so flawless,no marks of bruises whatsoever. Her longish features are to be seen all along;the face, arms, legs. Stunning.

Blogger Dominica said ... (1:33 PM) :

simple chic, always a winner !

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:51 PM) :

I have that belt. (Urban Outfitters.) I do not have that hair.

Blogger Gia said ... (1:53 PM) :

she looks very natural and the dress is really feminine:)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:00 PM) :

it's funny that there is a previous comment about the bracelet being from H&M, because that belt is from urban outfitters. I didn't think runway models shopped at such places.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:12 PM) :

What a natural beauty....she actually somehow resemebles SJP, but a WAY TEN MILLION TIMES more stunning SJP :D

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:23 PM) :

Love everything from the neck down. STunning legs and she wears the dress so well. Definitely don't like the hair. I don't like fussy hair, and that's fussy hair. Must be the feminist in me talking... :)

Blogger Carolina Lange said ... (2:37 PM) :

Amazinh hair!!!

Blogger Lady Lala said ... (2:46 PM) :

the dress is awsome, quite easy but really sexy.

Blogger Maggie May said ... (2:55 PM) :

she's like a beautiful gazelle.

her hair is such a lovely color i've been working to get, that light over dark.

and her skin and her legs are amazing, and then the dress is perfection for it all.

a beautiful moment.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:25 PM) :

i want to say sometning. am i the only one who can feel that beauty comes from inside? that gorgeous girls looks that way beyond her slim legs and arms. She is comfortable with her self, she is relax, the problems she might have in her life, do not overcome the true nature of her heart. Typical latinoamerican trade. About the features, i´m glad people over the world (and specially northern parts) can become aware of the other parts of the world. Her features are one of latin combos. german meet native meet french and so on, guess you all wouldn´t be so surprise if you really look at people, everywhere, anywhere beyond the outfit, just look !! and please, you, all OPEN YOUR EYES. among humans we are all we have.
Ps: Scott thanks for using your passion to let other people see.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:49 PM) :

Her limbs just go on forever! GORGEOUS!!

Blogger Allie said ... (4:14 PM) :

Wow. Absolutely stunning.

Blogger Jill Turner said ... (4:28 PM) :

She seems very Roman to me. The drape of her fabric and her bone structure.

Blogger soph naylor said ... (4:35 PM) :

the dress is wonderful!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:53 PM) :

Im sorry. I don't like this at all. Maybe the safeness or unoriginality of it sits strangely with me.

Blogger Sanna said ... (5:25 PM) :

Wonderful gaze, wild locks... And the belt is very nice. This photo makes me want to take a vacation!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:38 PM) :

I do not care for the outfit. the belt with the shoes with the metal detail with the accessories etc... but SHE is beautiful.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:49 PM) :

Now this is glorious! Best photo of female subject in Rio. She has that southern Brasil look-- classy, long & leggy, (Germanic?).

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:43 PM) :

She is love.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:17 PM) :

I'm so not reading this blog again until the Rio pictures are over - these people are all unachievabley
tan and beachy sexy, there's nothing in their clothing that I in my pallor can take inspiration from.

By which I mean, they're gorgeous, and I'm jealous!

Blogger LRB said ... (7:31 PM) :

Goddess...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:37 PM) :

Bonjour,

The first image.. he is delightful, lovable, and charming.

Merci,

~ Zoé

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:45 PM) :

Yes, she's stunning -- but does anyone else think it's hilarious that she's sporting what looks like hot-rollered (or curling-ironed?) hair at the *beach*?? Also, I think her lovely face would look prettier if her hair was parted low on the side...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:36 PM) :

Her name is Bianca Klamt. She is a Brazilian model (yet another one haha).
The bracelet which some people are saying is from H&M is actually part of the African-Brazilian religions present in Brazil such as Candomble.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:51 PM) :

oh well that's just not FAIR! do you have to be Brazilian for that gene-pool? (and i know what they say about beauty from within, which is true, but she doesn't even have to TRY on the outside!)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:19 AM) :

I don't like the upper half of the dress, the cut makes it seem like she's missing one breast.

I do like the color scheme, her hair, her body and that she's wearing flats:)

Blogger Unknown said ... (5:24 AM) :

Hello Gorgeous

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:31 AM) :

Anonymous at 9:45, you have to take into consideration that she was not lying on the sand facing the sun, all sweaty trying to get a tan. She was attending a fashion show which happened to be held at a place by the beach.

That being said, women here are totally hair-obsessed. It is not unusual to see women who get their hair done to go to places such as the gym (and the beach). They put a lot more effort (and money) in their hair than in anything else (including clothes).

Hair is a major asset here. Brazillians are obsessed with sexuality and sexiness, and hair is considered one of the mais symbols of sexiness and female sexuality, so women really stress over their hair, which is a major deal for them.

In Brasil, you hardly ever see a woman who´s hair isnt super long, sleek and "unnatural", in the way that its always overdone. Women in Brazil always look like they just left the hair salon, no matter where they are and what they are doing.

Blogger Marian said ... (8:16 AM) :

love her hair! shes innately beautiful and the boys adorable xx
muah xx
Marian.

Blogger Unknown said ... (2:22 AM) :

simple and beautiful. and i love that it is her face, not her clothes, that strikes you first.

Blogger Cassaundra said ... (3:36 AM) :

obviously!

Blogger Alexa said ... (6:02 AM) :

Eh. She's a beautiful woman with amazing legs but I'm not mad about the dress, which is just fine, or the hair, which is way too "done" and fussy for my taste.

If she wasn't such a beautiful woman, this outfit would be blah.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:52 AM) :

love her belt. wish i had those great legs too!

Blogger HELI said ... (7:24 PM) :

i love the dress effortless chic

Blogger meredith said ... (2:22 PM) :

This look reminds me of that perfume parody from SNL in the late seventies ; "Hey You!" When you can't afford to be subtle.

Blogger Andromeda said ... (9:23 PM) :

perfect hair!

Blogger Unknown said ... (7:06 PM) :

for the man who knew too much:
this kind of bracelet is common in Brazil, those white shells are called "búzios", and are used also for divinatory purposes in the afro-descendants religions in Brazil.
So, the bracelet is as Brazilian as it can get, but if the Swedish H&M copied it they certainly got the idea from here.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:30 AM) :

Love it!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:37 PM) :

So glad to see a woman with some meat on her bones.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:46 PM) :

This girl calls Bianca Klamt, brazilian model...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:25 AM) :

hello

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:35 PM) :

The neutral color tone complements her skin topped with carefree texture of her hair. I must have that belt.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:19 PM) :

yes, indeed we love big hair!

Anonymous netasnir said ... (9:54 PM) :
