I love the idea of these pants, especially when the wearer is walking- effortlessly alluring. But even though this guy looks comfortable and casual and great in these pants, I'm not sure they look better than a pair of relaxed-yet-tailored "classic" black trousers would. Yes, they're different and fashion-forward, but does the silhouette really add anything here?

It is not so much the silhouette I object to with the droopy M.C Hammer pants you have photographed so far, but the quality of the pants themselves. They have all looked like stretched out and soiled gym/yoga pants. There have been very interesting pants playing with this silhouette featured by such designers as Yohji Yamamoto, Comme des Garcons, Lumen et Umbra, and others. The ones you have shown so far look like cheap running pants that the wearers have taken a poop in.
At 5'4 this will never work for me, but i love it on him! And flip flops in november? i'm so jealous right now it hurts, lol

I still have mixed feelings about this trend. I have a pair that I lounge around in... in the house. Just not brave enough yet to wear it outside. This just might not be the trend for me but I can admire it on others. Talk to me when it's over 90 degree's outside and I might just change my mind.
