gives me a real winter fashion feeling.

What a beautiful coat! I am an Australian visiting Washington DC and was wondering how to stay warm without looking like a puffy marshmallow. And I have discovered how sensible socks are in cold weather, there is no way you could wear open shoes like that without them so why not make them a statement!

Blogger Unknown said ... (10:20 AM) :

hello yellow - what an extraordinary choice!

Blogger Unknown said ... (10:32 AM) :

Fabulous! Lovely coat and shoes...such a shame she doesn't risk more for the picture...

Blogger Unknown said ... (10:54 AM) :

she seems very sad in her very warm jacket :-/

Blogger Breathless said ... (11:02 AM) :

Very bold! I like it!

I love those tights (socks?) with those shoes and pants. Would never have thought to do that but it looks great.

The coat is wonderful and I'm really enjoying the texture. What catches my eye though is the sock and shoe combination. They go so well with the leaves and the fall.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:49 AM) :

That red coat is stunning.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:00 PM) :

I dont get it?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:08 PM) :

ugh i WAAAAANT that coat. The shoes with the tights and pants is a great look.

great coat. ♥

Blogger Candace said ... (1:52 PM) :

what a rich color for a coat...very nice!

Blogger Wanderlusting said ... (2:29 PM) :

No to socks. Yes to the shoes - saw similar for sale on Asos.com. Yes, not high-end fashion but still fashionable shoes nonetheless.

And big yes to the coat.

BIG BIG YES!

Love the colour, the texture, the collar...drool, drool, drool :P

Blogger Brigadeiro said ... (3:18 PM) :

What a gorgeously lush coat, like Wanderlusting, the colour, texture, cut, collar are just stunning & warm...love it!

Not sure what I would change about this. Maybe the hair which has no style. Whoever thought to pose her with these leaves at her feet (which perfectly match her shoes!) is a genious. Hmm..

Blogger Michelle "Mim" McEwen said ... (4:30 PM) :

How fitting -- it seems to match the song I'm listening to now. It's called "Il Pleut."

Well, anyway I love best about this outfit: the blue plants and the brown shoes.

I am in love with that coat!!!

Blogger Michelle "Mim" McEwen said ... (4:33 PM) :

I adore that coat. I can't stop looking at it! Now I'm sad because I don't have it! Garsh!

I know I mentioned this already, but this photo is SO matching with the song I'm listening to now. I love when that happens. The song is "Il Pleut."

Blogger Rita said ... (5:29 PM) :

Such a great coat!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:36 PM) :

How beautiful she is. Most of all I like her face und her hair which are totally natural. She conveys a lot of self-esteem to me

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:08 PM) :

Beautiful! the coat has such a flowing scarlet color, perfect for the winter season

Blogger Unknown said ... (8:40 PM) :

She looks like Charlotte Gainsbourg. :)

Blogger Dominica said ... (1:50 AM) :

Lovely coat - wine-red = wow !
Adore her 1920-style shoes...anyone who can tell me the label ?

Blogger sadia said ... (5:58 AM) :

fab shoes!!!

Blogger cami falcão said ... (7:29 AM) :

i love the coat but can't take my eyes from her tights/shoes combination, very well done, those shoes are awesome!!!!

That's a magnificent coat - color, texture, drape, and cut are all perfect.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:10 PM) :

that coat is fantastic. I love it.

Now the hem job on the pants? Terrible!
I would not call attention to anything below my knee with that hack job.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:39 PM) :

Love the shoes. . .

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:06 AM) :

wouldn't it be lovely to meet your new SO for a quick lunch in between crazy life stuff, and have him/her walk into the restaurant dressed as well as this???
