Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:44 AM) :

she is lovely, her elegant but casual style and natural face are great, but can't help wishing her hair was a little more groomed...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:56 AM) :

Blogger  said ... (6:24 AM) :

Ravissante !
Faut juste qu'elle change de coupe de cheveux.

Blogger Unknown said ... (7:10 AM) :

such a gorgeously simple bag. it seems very much a part of her and i love how the color springs out against the black jackets and pants.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:16 AM) :

What a triptych! love her pared down style yet she knows quality wins out through and through. That green bikers jacket is a gem.

Blogger mette said ... (7:45 AM) :

I like her hair and the way she smiles. The slender body is her asset too.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:55 AM) :

hands up who wants to marry this girl..

Blogger John B Pritchett said ... (7:58 AM) :

This is such a perfect look. Her playful expression and youth tie it all together. I'm a big fan of canvas shoes.

Blogger Ami said ... (8:01 AM) :

love the color of the bag, especially for these still-warm fall days in italy. i'm also obsessed with her color coordinating in the middle picture - great eye for complementary shades.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:01 AM) :

i love it. i am really marveling at the fact that the bag has no strap-always tucked in her arm.
and she has an eye for beautiful pieces - the jackets and the bag and that ring in the second photo...

i want a big blue bag!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:07 AM) :

her bag is beautiful

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:18 AM) :

What a stunning clutch! Anyone know where its from?

Blogger Dan in Richmond said ... (8:18 AM) :

Blogger starbahks said ... (8:56 AM) :

Is it marc jacobs? i love it.

Sart- you shoot so many people - how do you manage to make all these connections between photos? crazy. :)

Blogger Izzy said ... (8:58 AM) :

yes I think it's Marc Jacobs

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:08 AM) :

she's tatiana from Tatler Russia :)

Gee, if I had that bag, I'd carry it everyday/ every where too!

Blogger Style Noir said ... (9:25 AM) :

Marc Jacobs indeed. Love the color...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:28 AM) :

jacket and bag!!!!

Blogger The Spicers said ... (9:45 AM) :

I love how she lets the bright turquoise bag be the focal point with each of her outfits. That shrunken leather jacket is fabulous too!

Blogger Unknown said ... (10:29 AM) :

She really knows how to play with lengths and leggins.
Great style, great bag although I think she could do better with her hair

Blogger PunkiMeowMeow said ... (10:32 AM) :

I love the color and shape of her clutch. I like that it folds over. I wish I fit all of my belongings into a bag like that.

Blogger Unknown said ... (10:36 AM) :

the first photo is almost unreal - the way the lines of perspective converge on her; the repeated shapes., colours and lines of the scooters, building and trees. she actually kind of looks like a human exclamation point in that one.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:46 AM) :

sometimes all U need is just one bag <3 ^__^ I love the way it brings color to the outfit :>

Blogger Olviya said ... (11:09 AM) :

lovely hair! so natural.
and very nice green lather jacket.

Blogger Unknown said ... (11:10 AM) :

What a smile!
:)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:14 AM) :

The bag is a gorgeous "objet", but I would find something without a strap entirely impractical, except for evening wear.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:44 AM) :

Oooh, I love her bag and natural face!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:07 PM) :

Love the bag -the pop of turquoise adds so much to her otherwise simple look.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:08 PM) :

Spare, simple, bag adds impact, worth imitating.

Blogger Dominica said ... (12:13 PM) :

Love this turkish blue ; it's such a lovely color !
In fact it's a color that's suits anyone and in this case it makes such a statement !

Blogger Alice Olive said ... (12:52 PM) :

A signature piece, well done. Love the last ensemble the best. Simple, monotoned, easy. Love it.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:11 PM) :

it really look like she's having a love affair with the camera. seriously, it looks like a mini-movie. and yes, I too would marry this woman.

Blogger Holly said ... (1:21 PM) :

i like her style in the 3rd pic~

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:25 PM) :

Blogger Jana FitzGerald said ... (2:33 PM) :

she is really just charming. her style is unpretentious and chic at the same time -- i think the kind of style that can only come with ease.

she's making me want these! :

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:01 PM) :

I love the fact that she has left her hair and face so natural, I actually think it makes the outfits, if her hair was all done and she was wearing lots of make up it wouldn't be the same...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:11 PM) :

i love all three pictures and all three styles of her! she looks angelic in the first one, with the light cast on her, the shadow she gave away and the strong contrast between the background and her. i like the vintage green cropped leather jacket in the second picture and lastly, the hi-cut chucks with leggings and almost fitting coat!
oh and of course the turquoise clutch! the ultimate accessory indeed!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:15 PM) :

well, it is a pretty swell bag.

Blogger Adiel | Rose Gold Lining said ... (4:30 PM) :

Yeah, that bag in the second photo is lovely!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:43 PM) :

no ones commented on her jeans! the jeans in the second picture are gorgeous. i want a pair. now.

Blogger Hek said ... (6:12 PM) :

The first photo is amazing! Totally love it. And the girl is so adorable and fresh, and the clutch..after seeing this i really crave it.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:17 PM) :

She looks nice but i'm sick of seeing girls all over europe wearing leggings (underwear) as if they are trousers!
I really dont like the look...
That said i like her smile and hair!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:56 PM) :

its marc by marc jacobs and i think it's actually on sale now ! original price was 389 USD I believe... worth every penny !!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:25 PM) :

The bag makes the outfit look perfect. Beautiful colour. Especially love the first pic, looks impressive!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:42 PM) :

she is absolutely adorable.

Blogger X1+X2... said ... (8:48 PM) :

I love her hair and the no-make up face. It all spells C-H-I-C. Nice jacket in the 1st and last photos, too. Plus, I usually abhor colors but monochrome, but with her, it's okay.

Blogger Jack Daniel said ... (9:16 PM) :

Who is she? Scott, tell me, please.

Blogger Eyeliah said ... (10:05 PM) :

All she needs is that bag to punch up the color in any look!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:02 PM) :

she's fresh -- like a stylish, mischievous girl-cherub.

the long cardigan in the last picture is quite divine. where is it from?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:07 PM) :

i just paased on a vintage green leather jacket like this one. why?!?!

Blogger Cristina said ... (12:01 AM) :

she clearly has her basics (black, white, leggings, tee, black coats, white chucks) and then the standout accessories (green jacket, turquoise bag). I can't wait to have such a disciplined sense of style.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:27 AM) :

BRILLIANT photos!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:36 AM) :

Love the bag! And I really envy her clean look!!

-VD-

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:54 AM) :

OMG I love her leather jacket, the color, the cut.

Blogger Susanna-Cole King said ... (9:57 AM) :

The bag is beautiful, and the jacket in the second photo is stunning!

xoxo,
S-C

Blogger charlanne said ... (10:38 AM) :

Love the bag and the green jacket, too!!
But nude pumps, when the rest is black (first picture)? I'm not sure.

Blogger Egon said ... (11:10 AM) :

Great colour!

Blogger Unknown said ... (1:34 PM) :

Really nice to see a bag with color when someone is wearing black.

Blogger RECIEN LLEGADA said ... (2:47 PM) :

The bag is her colour amulet¡Nice blue¡

Blogger Allen - East Hampton said ... (4:28 PM) :

Being a guy I didn't even notice the bag (duh), but her assured and easy sense of style in all 3 pix caught my eye (save!).
A+ all around!

Blogger Miss Cavendish said ... (6:59 PM) :

Ooooh--I love how the shadow elooongates her in the first image. I actually had to do a double-take!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:56 PM) :

very nice!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:47 PM) :

i love the composition of the first picture!
when i saw it, i thought she was standing on a catwalk, then i realized those were bikes around her, not people

also, this woman exudes youthfulness, an you've managed to capture this in every shot of her
great job sart!

Blogger simplysteph said ... (12:39 AM) :

wow, shes really attached to that bag. honestly clutches get so tiresome. but yes what a coincidence catching her. great look she has.

Blogger Unknown said ... (3:51 AM) :

I must say that whereas ordinarily - despite being an avid reader of the blog - I never feel compelled to make inane comments on your pictures, there's something about this girl's grace that really moves me. The comparison is surely over-used, and almost always erroneously, but I can't help but draw it; she has the truly effortless style of Audrey Hepburn in 'Breakfast at Tiffany's.'

Contrasted with the leggings, the coat in the first image has the perfect shape. It also reaches the correct point on her upper thighs.

Not only is the green leather jacket also the perfect length, but it also works perfectly with the long, white top underneath. The pants add the perfect among of complication to the outfit; she manages to avoid being a Rothko-esque pairing of vertical blocks of color. All pieces stand alone in this ensemble, and in a sense they all pull their own respective weights.

The soft, draped form of the trench-coat-meets-sweater in picture 3 is another example of a stand-alone, or independently special, garment. The skirt peaking through saves the look, albeit barely, from being too "shabby chic." A perfect amount of shimmering ankle appears between the ultra-slender legging-clad legs and the similarly form-hugging high top converses that seem almost an extension of her feet.

For all of those viewers who feel inclined to obsess over the minutiae - be it the cut of her hair (apparently not suitable to this audience), or the color of her bag (on the contrary, a real hit) - I would issue a brief word of advice, so to speak:

Do not comment unless you have genuinely valuable and novel insight to add to the open discussion of Mr. Schuman's photographs. Stop abusing the power you have to share your every thought, should you so choose, on the internet.

Blogger Marianna said ... (5:13 AM) :

well I will join everyone else in saying I love that bag, but I also VERY much LOVE the green leather jacket. And I also LOVE the 1st photo artistically speaking with her in the middle and all the scooters/motos lined up on the sides...so Italian...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:31 AM) :

thanks Maggie, that's really enlightening

Blogger Robin said ... (10:06 AM) :

I'm in love with her jacket!

Blogger Cass said ... (2:56 PM) :

Totally rockin'! reduce-reuse-recycle...loves it!

Blogger joshuawrites said ... (8:04 PM) :

Although I didn't read every single comment I can not believe more people aren't flipping out over the first photograph: first, the light; and second--her shoes! This woman is gorgeous and, as surely as she holds her Marc Jacobs clutch close to her bosom, will carry the human race one generation further into evolutionary perfection.
They shoes are already there.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:46 AM) :

Love the face and the smile!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:23 AM) :

those ivory pants in the middle photo have such beautiful detailing that completely complement the softness of the green leather. she is stunning in her careless approach.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:42 AM) :

Clutch is a beauty.
Perfect addition to her conservative outfits.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:01 AM) :

it's Marc by Marc Jacobs

Blogger Nicole said ... (11:47 AM) :

Blogger Fabricjam.com | The fashionable online auction site said ... (5:45 PM) :

Interesting! Puzzled...

Blogger Topham Beauclerk said ... (9:48 AM) :

She's darling. The bag is such a signature statement of style for her.

But . . . were you stalking her to get three photos in three different outfits? (Kidding.)

Blogger Caroline said ... (12:12 AM) :

Modern Margot Tenenbaum.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:48 AM) :

the first photo is an absolute masterpiece. I love the shadow of her legs.

Fantastic style!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:11 PM) :

Does anyone know where the green jacket is from?
Love it!

i wonder if it is the same?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:15 PM) :

The green biker's jacket is from Zara.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:10 PM) :

She looks like a modell or an actress.. Can't rember the name though.

Blogger Tannee said ... (7:57 AM) :

what can I say? That is great style.

Blogger worldwideancestor said ... (1:53 AM) :

It's not where she is.
It's not what she wears.
It's her that who knows what to keep, in this case it's her own bag.
What I think what fashion is that everything is in your draws. They are there because you bought them so if there are a few items you never had around, go and find the partners that also are in your draws.
