She is gorgeous. Her cheeks are the perfect shape under her beautiful, blue eyes. And the hair around her face...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:11 AM) :

Great portrait of a great face. Ever a beauty is she.

Blogger beths said ... (9:13 AM) :

How glorious! Thank you. The thin gold shoulder-straps attach to a backpack-style bag, I guess. And the bracelet, like a beaded leather cuff from Mali? What a face!

Blogger Kathie Truitt said ... (9:16 AM) :

I love every line in her face!! THIS is what every woman should inspire to be. THIS is why I'll never have comsmetic surgery or botox.

THIS is a face and body of a woman who loves life. I truly think Lauren Hutton is the most beautiful woman in the world.

(Okay, I'll sit down now.)

Here eyes and here smile, she is just amazing grace!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:32 AM) :

I was just looking at my 44 year old face and contemplating what can be done with the approaching jowels and deeper lines. Thanks Ms Hutton, for keeping it real and beautiful. I'll try to wear my lines with as much elegance.

great portrait!

Blogger Patricia said ... (11:49 AM) :

I love to see a woman who is not afraid of wrinkles too, but I think she has had at least some eye lid surgery. Maybe some other not-too-recent surgery as well. It's all really well done.

Blogger Jorge from W Palm Beach said ... (12:03 PM) :

Timeless

Blogger Unknown said ... (12:14 PM) :

She's so fab! I love that she kept it simple and elegant.

Blogger Dominica said ... (12:20 PM) :

Wow !
Great picture of her too !

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:30 PM) :

Lit just right. Sometimes I wish you were a painter, too. Ms. Hutton's nature (kind of wary, kind of wry) comes right out at the viewer.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:32 PM) :

Beauty + character FTW. I especially love the gap between her front teeth, but she still looks beautiful here.

Blogger Hadley Makes said ... (12:32 PM) :

Beautiful as always.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:37 PM) :

She is one of our inspirations!

Advanced Style

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:49 PM) :

She is absolutely stunning. I have always admired her for the way that she carries herself, for the way that she has aged, and the way that she embraces her own personal style.

She is a beauty role model. There is something real and honest about her, and it is so rare to find in fashion and in Hollywood these days.

Thanks for the inspiration.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:21 PM) :

I remember my grandmother telling my (female) cousins not to be so concerned with how they looked when young; at that age your looks, for better or ill, were whatever God gave you. However, she said, usually at fifty one had the looks one had earned in life. Obviously Lauren Hutton has lived a life of incredible courage and grace. I don't want to stir anything up, but if memory serves me, she had some incredibly bad luck with either a boyfriend or a financial/legal advisor and was practically ruined several years ago financially. I'd be interested in reading what she is up to these days: does she work, where does she live, family?? Best of luck to her and thanks for sharing the photo.

Blogger Brigadeiro said ... (6:59 PM) :

Like a good wine, some things improve with age...Lauren Hutton is just beautiful, classic & elegant.

Blogger susand said ... (7:12 PM) :

FINALLY!!!!A woman who looks her age! She's wonderful.

Blogger junglesiren said ... (7:34 PM) :

She is so beautiful. There's nothing ever to rag on with this lady. She's funny, intelligent, talented, stylish, warm and gorgeous!

She's someone I'd love to travel with 'cause I know she could handle the fanciest hotel or a night under the stars somewhere in the Andes. She's a tough girl.... not an ounce of priss.

Blogger Jenn said ... (9:17 PM) :

She is the defination of glammor

Blogger Joey said ... (10:32 PM) :

Such a great picture from a photography standpoint! I also really respect her for not going the botox route.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:36 PM) :

Such a natural and rare beauty.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:23 PM) :

This is what those botox/plastic barbies look at with envy because they'll never have the beauty that strenghtens with ages which is only achieved naturally and radiates from the inside.

Blogger Unknown said ... (11:33 PM) :

Refreshingly natural (however sad to admit in today's world) - she is stunning.

Blogger Brightlightwarriornika said ... (1:39 AM) :

wow! forever beautiful!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:10 AM) :

Stunning is absolutely right. Striking too. This is a magnificent photograph.

Blogger ellastica said ... (3:34 AM) :

style is in her bones.
rugged yet refined.
a timeless beauty.
thank you Sart. the lack of airbrushing is refreshing!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:42 AM) :

I admire her. Beautiful spirit.

Blogger Bluetramontana Style said ... (5:15 AM) :

I love Lauren...

Blogger hitch said ... (5:26 AM) :

wow

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:51 AM) :

really love your photographies.
you're just so great in catching moments...
I'm at the beginning of my career as a photographer and your work is so inspiring, thanks!

Blogger Unknown said ... (8:03 AM) :

She looks stunning, honestly, like the kind of woman who is over surgery and youth, she is just beauty in her stage of life...Awesome picture Scott.
xoxo,

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:10 AM) :

so genuine and honest and wonderful to see a face treated like a face, not a drum head to be stretched or a cake to be frosted

the lines on her forehead that echo her one raised brow compose the silent caption of her thought at that moment

thankyouthankyouthankyou ms. hutton

and sart!

Blogger Barbara said ... (11:14 AM) :

Here's something to look at as one contemplates plastic surgery. She doesn't have that scary Stepford Wife thing that one associates with American women, and I applaud her for that, but we are so bombarded with Plastic Women that our eyes have become attuned to smooth "ageless" beauty and so this photo has a scary aspect to it too. Lauren Hutton has always been a great beauty, but in a way that makes getting old so fraught with trauma - if age has done this to her, what lies in store for us...?
Having said all of this, I believe that plastic surgery is for frightened women who cannot face the reality of the clock, and looking at this woman you can see that she is supremely confident in her skin, which is what life is all about (or should be!) Bravo, Ms Hutton - c'est vous la plus belle de toutes!

Blogger Alex said ... (2:13 PM) :

I love this picture!!!!!!!!

Lauren Hutton is a beautiful woman;
without facelift!!!!!

I love it!!

Blogger Ine said ... (8:16 PM) :

Oooooh Lauren!! I met her in Barcelona around may, she's soooo nice and smart and down to earth. She told me how she would go camping inside Machu Picchu with Shirley McLaine in the 60's. Badass!! In person she's even more extraordinary. Great pic!

Blogger Unknown said ... (5:53 AM) :

i love her since i saw "american jigolo"

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:40 PM) :

I mean this in the highest esteem!

BADASS!

She's still got it!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:39 PM) :

I look at her the way I look at my mother, I see a beautiful, strong woman and don't even notice the wrinkles... It's sad that everyone who comments here notices the wrinkles, even if in a postive way, applauding her for not looking like a wax figure. I'm not, though, a plastic surgeon, or a photoshop editor. When I look at this picture I notice how absolutely BEAUTIFUL she is. She looks so much better than many young models.
Lauren Hutton, you are perfect.

Maria

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:13 PM) :

I hope to GOD I can be this beautiful when I'm her age.

Blogger Danièle Brown said ... (5:30 PM) :

expression is what gives a person beauty... this lady has character and one can see it in her face. thankx for this pic. Danièle

Blogger nyc/caribbean ragazza said ... (6:23 AM) :

Just timeless grace and beauty.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:51 AM) :

So beautiful...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:38 PM) :

I do not know who she is what should be really sad if I read this blog, but she is a whisper of elegance, femininity and feminine maturity.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:03 AM) :

She is my all-time favorite model, and she is still absolutely beautiful. I saw her on the street once about 5 years ago, and she was stunning. I am 39, and I have to admit I am worried about the wrinkles I see coming, but pics like this make me feel so much better (not that I ever looked like Lauren, unfortunately!)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:50 PM) :

now she's aging wonderfully! Looks normal, looks gorgeous! all those botox freaks should look to lauren hutton!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:31 PM) :

Great great photo. thanks so much for posting it. All of these comment show how much we respect and admire her. Forty-something that I am, I can only hope to age as gracefully & powerfully as she has!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:39 PM) :

she is timelessly beautiful

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:14 AM) :

She has always been my absolute favorite. It is wonderful to see her beautiful face stay filled with character and grace. She is a style icon, full of confidence and a great inspiration for women.

Blogger The Dandelion Tamer said ... (11:05 AM) :

Bless Lauren Hutton- and Charlotte Rampling, for not succumbing to plastic surgery.

Grace, indeed.

She looks ethereal. Great capture of her.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:02 PM) :

She's an inspiration for me...this woman is absolutely beautiful. Stunning.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:57 PM) :

Completely heartening . . . thank you Lauren, thank you sartorialist

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:07 PM) :

confident serenity

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:18 AM) :

I am going to keep this and look at it every time I fear getting older, you can see her age but her youth and beauty shines through so much stronger.

Blogger G2 said ... (12:47 PM) :

I feel better about being fifty when I look at her.

She chooses clothing and a way of wearing her hair that is personal and sets off her lovely face.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:53 AM) :

Lauren is a real beauty

Blogger Bridget said ... (3:55 PM) :

Great!Loren is beautiful, it's make me happy!(Guess why!!!)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:56 AM) :

oh such grace!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:40 PM) :

About being 50! Hutton's well past 50! She's great, but those lips aren't hers. I think that her accident took quite a toll on her, spirit-wise.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:28 PM) :

What a lovely, unique portrait. The way you capture time on a subject - both the fleeting moment and the way time has defined the face or style - makes it so rewarding to keep up with your work.

-Sarita

Blogger AL said ... (12:58 PM) :

Nice capture. The twinkle in the eye and lil smile. Brow arch.

Blogger Duchesse said ... (7:07 PM) :

Just because a woman has lines, do not assume she has not had plastic surgery. My remarks to not pertain to Ms Hutton. Interventions or not, she is a magnificent beauty.

Blogger Marian said ... (8:28 AM) :

Lauren Hutton is stunning,simply stunning!
xx
muah,
Marian

Anonymous Cheap Designer Sunglasses said ... (11:14 AM) :

Lauren Hutton just exudes confidence. I think it is that confidence which makes her so beautiful.

Beauty is indeed in the eye of the beholder but I don't think there would be many who could dispute her beauty.

With people like her you don't notice one particular aspect, or the lack of one, it is the overall package that states it all.
