Comments on "On the Street.......... Inès de la Fressange, Paris"
beautiful smile!
I love that the peplum is back!
boring
The lovely Ines! No comments...;))
She is so chic. Je l'adore!
She's one of my favorites! Love the gathering on the back of the jacket.
She's as beautiful and stylish now as she was twenty years ago. I don't think I've ever seen better fitting pants on a woman.
The ever fabulous Ines. Short hair, statement sunnies and long long legs. Elegance.
i want to be like her when i grow up - she always looks classy and exudes a natural elegance.
she still cooks!
Ines! The reason I became fascinated with fashion! Beautiful woman!
I like how the blue of the jacket picks up the blue stripes in the pants. I'm not a fan of white pants (hard to keep clean, tend to add pounds), but the blue striping on these is nice. Wish I could see this from other angles. I'm curious to see what the front of the great little jacket looks like.
agreed. love the gathering on the back of the jacket.
Pants are too tight for me.
Where is the jacket from?
Great class, as always, Inès!
You're fabulous!
I'm glad to see women are still wearing oversized sunglasses.
T.
She still makes my heart beat faster.
Fun accessorizing - that appears to be a simple stack of Indian bangles.
She is a beautiful woman and looks completely at home in that ensemble. I've never ever seen a picture of Ines where she looks bad. Not crazy about the sunglasses though--way too big for her delicate face.
Perfect, as usual !
are those indian bangles im spotting? :D
She looks great, effortless chic, style, charm and grace. oh, to be a frenchwoman...(sigh)
she looks fantastic.
Ack, I can't like this. Although she is an extremely beautiful woman, I think she has managed to combine every one of my fashion faux pas'! White trousers with a white top (I can only presume)? Oversized shades, aaargh and I dislike the cut of the jacket and find the bag boring! No no no!
She was one of my first style icons! So nice to see her on your blog.
When someone talks about "French chic" it's images like this that come to mind. A classy and harmonious ensemble, without being too "done." Two thumbs up from me.
Ahh, yes. Ines. She is an inspiration.
Great shot, Sart. She looks beautiful!
Elle est DA BOMBE!! Chic, à tout rompre.
still amazing!
I'd sell my soul in an instant to look like her in my next lifetime.
Love that red, white, and blue on Bastille Day. Viva La France!
Still have style and looks beautiful INEZ rocks!!
perfecto
Scott - I beg your forgiveness for what follows... I think her jacket and bangles and hair and glasses and smile look bewitching and hot. But, as a man over 40, who loves life, his wife and the wonnderous beauty of the tapestry of life, I must also simply say, sorry, she has a really great rear-end.
Okay, let the barbed male-pig remarks start flowing.
I am sorry.
But I speak the truth...
I believe that she suffers from the same problem as I...when we smile our glasses, even if they are not oversized, rise off of the bridge of our noses!!! Or maybe I'm just trying to find a way that I have something in common with the fabulously chic Inès!!!
An stunning, iconic woman but if I did not know whoo she is I'd say the bag is too dark and heavy for the summer ensemble.
I'm so sick of this look. Every day at work...I look at this. Perhaps you should come to the Merchandise Mart in Chicago to take pictures.
Honestly, would this exact same outfit be receiving so many comments if the person wearing it wasn't "known"? What is so special or remarkable about this look? For me, the simple fact that she is smiling is the best aspect of this photo.
Just cut my hair : )
Magdalene
Fierce!
Class. She's still got it.
A classic from Paris. Congratulation Madame Ines !!
This is the first time I have not hated the sight of an armpit bag. I thought they were gone for good. Hope she doesn't start something..
this the definition of "chic"... the whole look looks unstudied, simple, somewhat carefree and refined at the same time...
I love those trousers! Can anyone identify them, please? ^__^
I love the peplum-ed navy jacket and the red bangles. A cute, yet chic "nautical" color choice. :3
That's it a common enough look doesn't detract from the charm. It's not screaming 'look at me' which is what I sometimes think (sorry Sart) of some of the Milan pics.
And. Bangles! Layered Indian glass bangles like the kind I used to try on as a kid (parents from India). What fun. I'm gonna do that. Get a nice straightforward jacket in a good color and add Bangles!
That was the most boring picture I have seen here. Completely uninteresting.
I want to fly to Paris right now and meet her....
She looks just as beautiful as ever. We should all wish to age as perfectly as M. de la Fressange (she's over 50 years old, isn't she?!). I'm in awe.
Divine, perfectly chic and effortless. She makes white pants look easy to wear too! Nice shot as always too Sart
Ah, the smile! Even big dark shades cannot hide the exuberance!
Ines is a classic beauty, ageless. Her style is bcbg, nothing too outrageous.
Ahhh, perfection! Could she encourage me anymore than this shot to look forward to my 50s?
Smiles are so underrated. She looks gorgeous.
good combination of the garments, colors and finally the smile...enough to remind you the summer!
toujour Ines, classy, une élégance unique.
Simplement MAGNIFIQUE INES, je l'adore!!!
Lady Z.
Ines, toujours chic! I still have a riding jacket from her clothing line. She is stylish and fun and never looks like she takes fashion too seriously. Just the way it should be.
i adored her look growing up..she still looks amazing!!
I adore YOU INES!!!!!
I used to be such a fan... still am I guess
The eternel chic Ines
the jacket is from Zara
I've nvr noticed it was Ms. de La Fressange in this blog till now after going through it again...wow..how did i miss that?
