Excellent use of gold & black. There's a very desperately seeking susan thing going on here.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:07 AM) :

gladiator sandals and wayfarers, bit too of the moment for my taste. and how big is that bag, it's like it's wearing her instead of the other way around!

Blogger Unknown said ... (2:32 AM) :

Great tote!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:52 AM) :

Her hair looks great!

Blogger xx.e said ... (3:19 AM) :

Love the black, even/esp in the summer when everyone's going for bright colors. And love her YSL tote too!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:22 AM) :

She's beautiful, I really think the glasses complete the outfit! ;)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:33 AM) :

all you need is good pair of shoes and bag!

Blogger Jack Daniel said ... (3:46 AM) :

her sunglasses and her hair.....stunning!!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:04 AM) :

YEAH GIRL!
U MADE IT!!!

Blogger Lady Lala said ... (5:20 AM) :

SUPER CHIC!!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:54 AM) :

black and gold, black and gold ... : )

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:05 AM) :

Very relaxed, laid back. Love the shoes!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:01 AM) :

she is so cute, i want to be her!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:12 AM) :

Not so fond of this one. I don´t like gold nor silver bags when they are huge, not even if it is by YSL.

Blogger Jo said ... (7:18 AM) :

I love her attitude+her gold shopper

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:23 AM) :

Excercising is good, but I do believe that ACCESSORISING IS BETTER. It's all about the accessories here! Great coif too.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:23 AM) :

What can i say? Love it! Perfectly done, gold in right porportions. A bit of rock´n´roll, a whole lot of chic!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:24 AM) :

i love her spartiate
t

Blogger ontheballhall said ... (7:24 AM) :

Beautiful shoes. Beautiful way she carries herself.

Blogger Jorge from W Palm Beach said ... (7:53 AM) :

LOVE the tote! While it is obvious from the construction and the stitching that this is an expensive piece, I suppose one could find a lower-priced one at a market somewhere. That is, if one was bold enough to carry one. Also like her jewelry, it looks lovingly worn-in, like those chains have been around for a while! Jorge from W Palm Beach

Blogger Leigh said ... (8:38 AM) :

could this be the perfect outfit?

i vote yes.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:54 AM) :

It's perfect! Love the shoes. Great weekend outfit (or hangover outfit).

Blogger The Spicers said ... (9:11 AM) :

LOVE her hair and jewelry!

Blogger Alice Olive said ... (9:32 AM) :

Especially love the hair and the retro feel of the sunnies.

Blogger Farrah said ... (9:52 AM) :

Unconventional beauty. The first thing I noticed was not her outfit, but her pretty face and relaxed demeanor. And I'd love to ask her what color lipstick she is wearing. That and the red nails add just the right amount of glamour.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:57 AM) :

LOVE the shoes, but I can't see the dress. The subthe grommet details look promising though.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:55 AM) :

When i first saw this post it didn't strike me hard enough to want to comment; after all it's a common enough look this summer: cute dress, gladiators, prominent jewellry, and i didn't feel this was sufficiently different. However having looked and looked again what really hits me about this photo is her personality. It comes out of the screen right into the room! True style is carried by personality and character.

Blogger LIO said ... (11:05 AM) :

Yeah, I noticed her lips and nails too. With the sunglasses, the hair, and the nicely fitting sleeves she's got just enough bad-ass to pull off the trendy pieces (gold tote, gladiators.) It's all about balance. Think I'll wear black today!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:37 AM) :

I can't believe those shoes get a positive comment. They give an extremely unfeminine feel to an already androgynous look. Chic - perhaps. Feminine - certainly not.

Blogger Luciernaka said ... (12:49 PM) :

Way dig her hairDo.

Blogger Miri said ... (12:57 PM) :

wow!

i have no words...

i actually think this is one of the best outfits ever for this summer... and the YSL tote... its just simply great with the ray ban glasses...

love the whole thing!

:D

Blogger Tea Lady said ... (1:10 PM) :

I am totally inspired by this look. Have been on the lookout for some flat gladiators for summer. Maybe I'll go for the necklace as well. Beautiful! Feminine but edgy all at once.

Blogger Unknown said ... (1:26 PM) :

i just love it all, especially the hair!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:37 PM) :

that is one cool girl. i don't like her shoes, but that's not the point, cause i love everything else, especially the hair. i am always looking for the perfect hairstyle, and hers is definitely on my list.btw she has just inspired me to succumb to my urge and go get me a pack of ciggies...

Blogger Terren said ... (1:37 PM) :

love. her. smile.

just wow.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:44 PM) :

awful shoes, but the rest looks pretty nice, hair is great

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:02 PM) :

Trendalicious. The accessory shopping on display must have been grueling.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:12 PM) :

Something about her look reminds me of Stockard Channing's boldness in Grease.

Blogger Virginie (VEER GI NY) Suos said ... (2:39 PM) :

I like how black is very classy yet these shoes and the gold totally pull it off as very fashionable

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:44 PM) :

It's Madonna meets Kylie Minogue. The bag is DA BOMB! The accesories and the demeanor make this outfit. It is something I could easily wear and feel comfortable in. This is the first outfit I've seen on this site in a very long time that I could actually see myself wearing (with the exception of the cigarette and sandals).

Tara

Blogger Kelly said ... (2:46 PM) :

love her hair and love the shoes with the bag.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:47 PM) :

the bulk of the shoes is a bit overbearing. i'm sure when she stands up and the skirt falls naturally, the shoes become a problem for the balance of this ensemble. maybe it's just a preference of mine to see women with skirts below the knee wearing shoes that don't cover much of the upper foot. i see far too many women neglect the proportions of their clothing in preference for a stylish shoe or in the moment piece of clothing.

the long loose necklaces work well here. those are definitely a great addition to this outfit as far as proportion goes, and i love jewelry with a vintage appeal.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:21 PM) :

want those glasses!
and the hair

(and the shoes too actually)

Topmop! (which is the Dutch word for ''well done'')

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:42 PM) :

i am sorry, but, i don't think that she looks androgynous at all. however, i do find the gladiator sandals to be unflattering, please forgive me...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:47 PM) :

love her gold bag and gladiator sandals!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:10 PM) :

i think it's awesome, the glasses are trendy but not on her! it's the lax of high school and the practicality of a mom, but with the glam of a star

Blogger Maggie May said ... (4:27 PM) :

oh her hair and glasses and rosy cheeks- she is edible!!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:51 PM) :

The shoes look too small for her feet. I'm not crazy about this look. Too much "stuff."

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:32 PM) :

I have that skirt! It's Jil Sander.

Blogger pearlaceous said ... (7:49 PM) :

Great photo! It's true her personality does come out :) Love the hair do, the Ray Bans, red lipstick, red nails, black outfit, and gold accessories..The black gladiator flats add oomph

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:39 PM) :

You can tell this is a woman who pays attention to detail. Everything is just so. Perfect!

Blogger Sunglasses Guy said ... (10:15 PM) :

Ray-Ban is huge in Milano right now. It seems like everyone is wearing them.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:47 PM) :

The best accessory is that smile.

Blogger Giuseppe said ... (11:58 PM) :

Ray-Bans win every time!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:48 AM) :

The outfit I can take or leave, the hair and smile are fantastic, but Sart - why oh why must you photograph people with their revolting cigarettes?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:32 AM) :

Here is a woman who looks relaxed, happy, comfortable and chic. (So what if some of the items are a little too trendy.) Such a contrast to the woman in the LA shot (with Spiderman) who looks like she is trying very hard to have an individual style and is challenging the viewer to disagree.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:39 AM) :

To anonymous at 3.21 PM: topmop is not a Dutch word.
The bag is ugly but I like her shoes, hair, face and attitude!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:49 AM) :

"Sart - why oh why must you photograph people with their revolting cigarettes?"
Our cigarettes find you equally revolting, buddy. In other news, the bag doesn't make the outfit, but it sure makes it a lot better!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:40 AM) :

I love it! Oh, my God, I love it all! I LOVE IT!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:57 AM) :

It's CORSO Venezia...
:-)

Blogger amy said ... (1:04 PM) :

she looks great, but something is not doing it for me overall. it's too trendy w/out individuality? need some quirk. love her hair and shoes and tee and necklaces. bag great too. so why is it boring?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:22 PM) :

Love everything but the sandals. I remain unconverted to to the gladiator look. Love, love the bag.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:23 PM) :

Thi is a great "hungover but I still have to get to the office" look.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:51 PM) :

I'm a huge fan of black with gold..but that said, this is waaaay too trendy...and those shoes aren't doing anything good for her feet.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:11 PM) :

She has a great smile. The hair, smile, shades and cigarette are the best things about this snap

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:59 AM) :

Even though I would not wear certain components of this outfit, that is not the point. It is a reminder of what can be done with plain black and accessories - she's inspiring.

Blogger Barbara said ... (10:01 AM) :

love love love the hair. wish I wasn't growing mine out.

Blogger Lizzie said ... (10:54 AM) :

check out that hair! loves it.

Blogger SwipeFile said ... (3:34 PM) :

i love gladiator sandals.... before they were cool!

Where do I get them???

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:04 PM) :

Shoes, as well as any other clothes, are not allways appropriate to one´s feet. These gladiators ask for more nude legs, or (on the contrary)longer skirts, and/or more delicate feet, I guess. I am sorry to say that, but I believe we can learn with the other´s mistakes.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:50 AM) :

I'm loving her gladiator sandals. They are totally the sandal of the season. I just bought a great pair online at Goldyn--totally check it out!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:15 PM) :

those aren't standard ray-bans wayfarers. but they are spectacular!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:33 AM) :

Her sandals are from Zara. Beautiful.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:05 AM) :

love the shoes!
hate the cigarette!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:51 PM) :

just awesome, will absolutely copy this (minus the bag, though).

yes, wayfares (again), but what can you say? that's why they became classics. just always great.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:00 PM) :

no way, the sandals are from ZARA? hoowl, how could i miss them??
she's gorgeous, extra cool and relaxed. effortless.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:19 PM) :

This is one of those shots that makes this site so memorable. Vibrant, casual, and worldly - the outfit is entirely beside the point when her personality itself is the subject.

-sarita

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:04 PM) :

Sexy from top to toe - una granda ragazza!!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:18 AM) :

so madonna-ish!!! love it.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:53 PM) :

luv the gold bag!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:03 AM) :

And no one said a word about her legs...bravo

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:59 PM) :

Funny how everybody seem to love those shoes. I think they're unflattering. By cutting off her ankles, they make her calfs look huge. But other than that, she looks great.
