I love this! So perfectly comfortable and laid back.

Im a very thin guy so i dont think id be able to have this look(rolled up sleeves on a short sleeve shirt) but its nicely done i like the fact that he has two pockets in his shirt but they are not easily visible. The red and blue of the shirt go well with the green leaves in the scenery. Nice photography. Keep up the good work.

Amazing eyes, knows how to express himself. I like his outfit too, but it's almost like his personality turned the image from regular to exceptional.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:06 AM) :

Simple and American, yet I think it's too normal for this page.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:14 AM) :

What has he got attached to the leather strap near his pocket?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:33 AM) :

Simple, comfortable, and tasteful. Good for him.

Blogger Pamcasso said ... (8:34 AM) :

Love him! That color looks great on him!

Blogger O!Lightning said ... (9:34 AM) :

what do you see here Sart, he looks fine, but I'm missing it.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:45 AM) :

he oozes beauty and sexiness.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:54 AM) :

The short-sleeve gingham looks great on him, although I would be afraid to try this look in a short sleeve. In a long sleeve, it is a classic, and I wear mine as often as shirt-rotating allows. Maybe it is the sum of the shirt, the wallet chain and his gorgeous features, could it be? Jorge from West Palm Beach

Blogger Alda said ... (10:06 AM) :

i like his shirt, it looks great on his body!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:08 AM) :

the leather wallet leash is a great touch - although i'm not so keen on the label being embroidered on his shirt - it's a bit of a distraction.

Blogger The Spicers said ... (10:14 AM) :

Love the gingham plaid, and the contrast between his personal appearance and his Givenchy creations.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:53 AM) :

Very easy on the eyes, to put it mildly.
Does anyone know the make of the shirt? I'd like to seek it out for my husband.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:53 AM) :

grazie! this is a lovely man.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:21 PM) :

yes, he looks good but not really sartorialist-material, me thinks.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:37 PM) :

I also am surprised that this is how he dresses, given his work for Givenchy. At first glance, it looks very American, what dads in Pasadena might wear, but I'm sure if one sees the whole picture, including the way he carries himself, there would be no confusion. He's obviously very aware of playing with various codes and makes a sophisticated statement.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:37 PM) :

Aw, Riccciiii :)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:40 PM) :

its a bit on the [bland] common side of sartorialist photography, but your camera makes it seem worth more than what it is.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:01 PM) :

He certainly has a style different [at least here] from his work for Givenchy.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:16 PM) :

Just normal, real basic, not very exciting to comment about. Although, he is a good looking guy so that adds more to otherwise less. Thank You.

Blogger Seanrwatson2 said ... (4:21 PM) :

J. Crew or Gap? Good looking man, very informal, normal look. He could pull off something much more.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:30 PM) :

This man is wearing a great shirt.
He must be very well endowed, no?

Blogger Paolo Manaloto said ... (7:23 PM) :

simple. elegant. casual. great outfit.

Anthony

the reason he is included is because he is Riccardo Tisci , head designer of the very fancy French house of Givenchy, and yet he is dressed like a Cali skaterboy.

i have always thought it was interesting to see how designers dressed themselves.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:17 AM) :

Yesssss!!! yessss!!!
I think that this pic is a great lesson: Tisci is a wizard, his dresses are dreams and emotions, but he does not need to show his talent or his "status" (the cell phone is perfect)
Please forgive me for my english....

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:37 AM) :

I think the outfit might look better without the white t-shirt showing.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:27 PM) :

I like this photo, it fits here because this guy's intense.

Blogger mette said ... (3:05 PM) :

Speaking about designers, Stephano Pilati (not sure if the name is written correctly), YSL top designer, also dresses simply and I think he is so perfect. Love him. Quite different than K.L,WHO REALLY LOOKS BIZARRE!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:07 PM) :

The wallet chain looks a bit like a pair of braces worn undone. In combination with skinny dark jeans and a gingham Ben Sherman type shirt, it's got a bit of a mod/skin look. I like.

Blogger Ammie said ... (4:18 PM) :

Thanks for the explanation, Sart. I, too, was puzzled by what you saw here, but it completely makes sense -- I am also interested to see how designers dress in their "off" days.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:54 AM) :

Sexy!

Blogger Giuseppe said ... (12:40 AM) :

I don't get it.

He kinda looks like every guy outside of every emo show everywhere.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:39 PM) :

Whats there to get? he is dressed in a very bland manner, and the shirt is really not all that. Although it is nice/interesting to see how designers dress.

Blogger Unknown said ... (4:10 AM) :

Love that a picture of him is here and so many people are clueless about him. It's cool he sticks to his uniform, but it's so far away from his incredibly creative work for Givenchy, a little like McQueen in that regard I suppose.... I'm a fan.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:05 AM) :

The shirts by Tenderloin which is a Japanese workwear brand seldom seen in Europe.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:01 PM) :

riccardo!!! love love

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:54 AM) :

So hetero! so macho! so man!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:43 PM) :
