Stunning.....simply to die for

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:52 AM) :

She looks so beautiful Sart - a glowing youthful spirit.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:57 AM) :

LOVE her sense of style. she's young and elegant. brilliant picture. and then, the scarf! the multilayered skirt! love this outfit.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:58 AM) :

Fresh, simple and lovely. She has the essence of Audrey Hepburn. Damn now i wish i had long legs! This girl could wear anything and still look good. I love that it was taken in the small "pasillos."

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:02 AM) :

wow... beautiful

Blogger BLOGGGGG said ... (2:12 AM) :

Absolutely gorgeous! Her style blows me away.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:14 AM) :

Well isn't this just charming? And I hope she has another arm under that enormous sleeve.

-AM

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:18 AM) :

She's so beautiful I'm not even going to worry about whether or not her arm exists.

I think that what makes this outfit special are the hues; the white into the light blue, transitioning to the gray and navy. And the shoes add a sense of attitude.

10!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:44 AM) :

One of the most stunning photographs I have seen on this blog. Beautiful.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:44 AM) :

she's perfect. Just about right amount of layering. Air of ease about her. And shoes are excellent-they give some definition to the whole look.

Blogger lucy said ... (3:09 AM) :

truly stunning. in every way.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:19 AM) :

Love it. All of it.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:21 AM) :

I so love this ensemble, particularly the scarf and the top. I love how the top accentuates the outfit, and how the skirt's color appear as a contrast sans the overkill.

Blogger Sabrina said ... (3:25 AM) :

Lovely. I like the tiered layers.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:26 AM) :

I love her sweater/cape!
It's a nice combination with the spring-like skirt and ruffled top peeking from underneath.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:52 AM) :

beautiful.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:55 AM) :

I love her layered mini skirts and also short boots are cute! Her scarf's blue/white adds Asian taste.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:59 AM) :

Sooo pretty.

Get ready for the haters.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:00 AM) :

oh I really like her style!! it's perfection

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:09 AM) :

Looks like a look that can be worn all year. You can unbutton the jacket during summer!

Blogger _journey said ... (4:11 AM) :

she's cute. where's the rest of her arm? lol

Blogger Unknown said ... (4:15 AM) :

This outfit is absolutely ace! the black shoes are the perfect counterbalance to the rest of the outfit's color that goes so well together. it reminds me of a matisse in that way. Plus, when an outfit can make you forget that a girl is missing and ARM pretty much seals the deal for the best outfit ever.

Blogger Fashion Tidbits said ... (4:35 AM) :

love the layers and layers of blue!

Blogger ?mark said ... (4:39 AM) :

wonderful

Blogger starbahks said ... (4:42 AM) :

she's stunning.
what legs! what blues!

i love the tiered shirt and skirt effect...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:28 AM) :

i love the mix of different materials and various shades of the same hue...

the ssetting totally worked its magic too! nice shot :)

Blogger cat minoki said ... (5:38 AM) :

Superb!
Gorgeous legs in great bootees!!!
You can see the temperatures are still unstable, changing between chilly winds and warm sun.
I love the combination of winterly wool, closed shoes, scarf and the light fabrics of the skirt/ dress and
naked legs.
(And again an intoed pose that might tell a nice story... :)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:46 AM) :

cute! i love the layering. it lengethens her look

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:36 AM) :

what a sweet beauty

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:42 AM) :

oooh - lovely....

Blogger Chic Closet said ... (6:45 AM) :

She looks so fresh, so gorgeous! Loving the colour cordinated look. Those shoes certainly completed the outfit, it'd look totally different with other shoes!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:00 AM) :

i love the colours - and what great tanned legs (the outfit - nor the shoes - wouldn't be the same without those!)
: D

Blogger Alice Olive said ... (7:28 AM) :

Simply perfect layering and proportions. Beautiful.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:49 AM) :

The gray-blue shades make this outfit a lot lighter and more suitable for summer than would more saturated shades of blue.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:11 AM) :

very,very lovely...and I adore the sweater!!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:21 AM) :

I think it is the shows that make this outfit. If she had chosen a frump sandal her outfit would have been overwhelmed with a relaxed feeling. I think it's the balance of the coat between structure and relaxed that she then brings to the skirt and shoes that makes everything stand out.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:33 AM) :

really, your pictures are just wonderful ... i can imagine standing in this old alley ... and love the loose layers of her outft. stacking light layers, pushing ankle boots into the warm weather ... thanks for inspiring!

Blogger Pamcasso said ... (8:37 AM) :

incredible- the photo is beutifully composed, and she looks stunning and effortless.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:57 AM) :

Love it, but is she wearing flesh colored tights??

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:00 AM) :

She is beautiful, her face is glowing. I can't stop looking at the ground though, with the light in the water and the flower petals (?) in the puddles. It's fantastic.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:27 AM) :

Beautiful! What a fantastic sweater that could make so many looks! The layering is simple and lovely. All the different textures really make this interesting.

Blogger KT said ... (9:29 AM) :

lovely portrait. I like how the street narrows behind her. The light is great- reminds me of Sargent.

Blogger Unknown said ... (9:43 AM) :

j'aime bien cette photo!!
reminds me of my days back in the south of france, spot-on sart, way to go.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:46 AM) :

What happened to her other arm? Is it in a sling?

Love the outfit. Sweater is fantastic, and the scarf, wow!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:57 AM) :

For all those fashion connoiseurs out there, does this outfit contain more than one waistline? I think it works wonderfully on her as she is model slim, on a regular person, I would not be so sure. Agree with other posters on the perfect blend of blues with the stone buildings in the background, and yes love the boots!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:04 AM) :

amazing photography, i just love the backdrop ARGH!!!

k

Blogger The Spicers said ... (10:12 AM) :

Just GORGEOUS, from hair to boots!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:18 AM) :

This is a stunning photo. I love her style. She's so unique and European looking. The only thing that drives me crazy is that we've lost her left arm!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:51 AM) :

I'm not keen on the layered skirt --it reminds me of things my 4-year old daughter wears. But the overall effect is fab, mostly because she is so beautiful and the colours are perfectly co-ordinated. I'm really studying how she's managed to make the black booties and bare legs work with the rest of it.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:52 AM) :

11...i want to marry this girl

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:57 AM) :

legs legs legs legs legs!
amazing look. if i had legs that good i would wear beautiful flowing feminine mini skirts every day too.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:00 AM) :

pretty girl in a pretty outfit. i like her ankle boots without nylons.

Blogger Jackie said ... (11:02 AM) :

Love this, a lot.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:25 AM) :

Very lovely. I agree that she has the essence of Audrey Hepburn!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:34 AM) :

the pink petals under her feet give a slight shot of bright colour against her neutral look, sutch a lovely picture
xx

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:35 AM) :

She created an ombre effect with layers - dark blue into light blue into white.

Blogger António Erre said ... (11:49 AM) :

Lovely!
Great shades of blue and white.
Unespected country background.
14 in 20.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:50 AM) :

Firstly, her hand is clearly in her pocket, secondly, I wish I had this effortless style (and endless legs)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:17 PM) :

All of these beautiful pictures from the South of France have me going crazy... I have absolutely no desire to live in North America at all anymore... South of France, here I come!

(P.S. I absolutely love this girl's style)

Blogger mette said ... (12:37 PM) :

A cute girl and a very interesting way of layering clothes. She has a nice frame and pretty legs. The shoes are fine too. The texture of the knit looks nice too. Not bad at all.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:39 PM) :

I love her. I want to marry her. Her legs are amazing

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:42 PM) :

Wow, man! Sandrine Bonnaire look alike. The booties are quite cool. I love this look.

Blogger LizBlair said ... (1:27 PM) :

She looks beautiful. The colors and proportions of the clothes are perfect on this lovely young girl.

Blogger yelldan said ... (1:47 PM) :

This photo is lovely. I will be there shortly so it gives me inspiration. Plus, I have that sweater and little booties.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:48 PM) :

OMG! I love love love this. I'm going to put this look together asap. I wouldn't have thought to layer skirts. I wish we could see it w/o the sweater. I love the booties. She's gorgeous. How do you find these women. They all look like models.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:42 PM) :

She is so gorgeous that I simply cannot get past it to even look at how what she is wearing might enhance her look. Unbelievable beauty, her!

Though completely stunned, I was able to note that the photo itself was also really well done. I love the setting but I think that young lady would light up any background all the same!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:45 PM) :

I love the outfit, especially the sweater. I would be wearing it right now, as I am chilly.

Where do I find this sweater?

I love the surroundings, what a beautiful place to be.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:45 PM) :

i could never pull this look off but it looks perfect on her

Blogger Lady Lala said ... (2:47 PM) :

I like it all, she is beautiful

Blogger アンディ said ... (2:57 PM) :

Wow, she's beautiful.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:22 PM) :

The first word that came to mind was, stunning! Scrolling through the posts it's clear to see that the sane thought ran through the heads of others.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:35 PM) :

You're slaying hardcore with this series sir! Love. Beautiful, radiant girl. There's an old-world charm in her style, and in all these portraits. Bravo.

--PLO

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:41 PM) :

This to me is perfection.

The proportions are just bang on, but it just looks so intuitive and carefree. So beautiful. Colours are lovely as well.

This is my new favourite.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:09 PM) :

when can i buy her shoes?

Blogger Seanrwatson2 said ... (4:18 PM) :

Very pretty girl and ensemble. Nice shade coordination with progession from skirt to jacket. Simplicity in all except the scarf for accentuation. Definative black boots. A+

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:24 PM) :

Every place has it's "very's" this is very French. Thank You.

Blogger Chike-Ikechi said ... (4:27 PM) :

The layering is excellently done and the transition of the hues is creative. The move from a dark blue, to a lighter blue, to an eventual white is a lovely play on colors and tones. The backdrop is very serene.

Blogger Andy W said ... (4:38 PM) :

stunning

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:52 PM) :

Fresh, unaffected perfection. Full of youthful spirit, without being tacky. One of my favorites.

Blogger AnnaBaNAna° said ... (5:05 PM) :

i absolutely adore this outfit!! the amount of layering is perfect.! i would wear it the same way... :)
the combination of the colors is stunning.. the black ankles are giving a kind of contrast to the rest of the outfit.
big compliment to the girl!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:10 PM) :

Not loving the white skirt, I find it a little frumpy.

Blogger Eliza Designer said ... (5:17 PM) :

I am worried by the fact that I can't see her arm, though I feel sweater/capes/cardigans just aren't worn enough.

Wonderful.

Blogger Unknown said ... (5:32 PM) :

This is a beautiful photograph. The background, colors, girl... all perfect.

Blogger Anna said ... (5:41 PM) :

Gorgeous. Very nonchalant and French. Love the cape/jacket- makes me want to make one even more!

Blogger OndrejS said ... (5:50 PM) :

Its pictures like this that I like the most on this blog. Of course the girl is stunning on her own. But what makes me so much excited is the sophistication of her style. I would so much like to see that in motion.

P.S.: It seems to me that this double layer skirt is really catching on and I cannot say I mind.

Blogger Miss Cavendish said ... (6:07 PM) :

So gamine and delightful. Those eyes!

Blogger rosie said ... (6:19 PM) :

Adorable girl, beautiful picture! Love the cobblestone road, ruffled shirt layered over pleated skirt, the chunky sweater, bare legs, and well- everything! :)

Blogger Anne Watkins said ... (6:53 PM) :

I would have gasped if I took this picture when I viewed it later. Beautiful portrait - wonderful composition and rhythm. wow. This series from France is exquisite. Hope you are having as much fun as it looks like you are!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:13 PM) :

a beautiful girl with beautiful style.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:25 PM) :

I LOVE YOUR BLOG! YOU SHOULD VISIT BUENOS AIRES AND TAKE SOME PICTURES!

GREAT JOB MAN!

SALUDOS.

PABLO.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:28 PM) :

Don't like the boots but otherwise she looks great--comfortable and at ease.

Your shots in France are so much fun.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:47 PM) :

Such style, inspiration... only in France. Just beautiful.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:17 PM) :

Never in a million years - even in my younger days - would I have put together these elements. Which is precisely is why I love this blog

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:47 PM) :

this girl is dressed fantastically. The layering is perfect. For some reason i love the shape of her eyebrows

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:43 PM) :

She's clearly a model - not that she is on a "job" here, but what an amazing ensemble.

It makes me want to go out and lose 30 lbs, so I could pull that off!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:13 PM) :

can i have the jacket? oh please can i have the jacket.
Sweet Sartorialist! Even for this blog (that never ceases to make me want to do a little dance every time i open it)this photo is fantastic.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:19 PM) :

Love love love love love. I want to duplicate this, or at least its spirit. SOOO beautiful.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:38 PM) :

She is fantastic. The outfit is great (the legs are obviously key to pulling this look together), but what gets me is the expression. Her eyes and her brows are so mischievous. So expressive. It wouldn't surprise me if she were a model.

Inspiring, and just what I needed (the coffee wasn't enough). Thank you.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:49 AM) :

Love the color scheme. Looks great for spring. And those legs! Love her tan. And her boots. An interesting choice to complete the outfit.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:12 AM) :

She's absolutely gorgeous! I love the color combination, the texture, that aura. Everything! It's so pretty!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:35 AM) :

just have a deep breathe......

Blogger Rumi Neely said ... (2:26 AM) :

Genius layering, genius composition..she made that potentially tired sweater look so fresh.

Blogger Anastasia said ... (4:57 AM) :

gorgeous style !! love the blue tones teamed with the summer white skirt...nice!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:59 AM) :

very nice style. who would have thought that such a chunky cape would go so nicely with a summery miniskirt. p.s. I wish I had legs like that!

Blogger gabrielazeanadal@hotmail.com said ... (5:17 AM) :

You often get to see this kind of style in in this blog. The outfit would have worked better with a differant sort of shoes, perhaps in grey or blue and not so urban like... Very nice anyways!

PS. Did she have a brocken arm?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:34 AM) :

everything's off. it's the legs that make it work

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:11 AM) :

Lovely color combination and tres cute style and all, it looks like she's missing her left arm, I mean, in this photo.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:54 PM) :

It so refreshing to see that you are taking pics of women "au naturel". I don't wear makeup and feel a little out of place in California where seems that no one appreciates natural beauty.

Blogger Anniq said ... (1:51 PM) :

i am deeply in love with this picture! it is very inspirational!
and i am deadly in love with those shoes! i am going to go out and look for some just the same now!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:07 PM) :

damn!!!!!

Blogger karinee said ... (4:34 PM) :

her legs are to die for!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:33 PM) :

With legs like that, who needs two arms?

Blogger photolexx said ... (10:52 PM) :

I love this,
her outfit is great.

AND, this shot is just gorgeous.

Blogger Unknown said ... (10:17 PM) :

So chic and pretty. Her look embodies the South of France for me.

Blogger NotAppealing said ... (1:04 AM) :

The outfit is totally surpassed by how gorgeous she is.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:50 AM) :

Why aren't people mentioning Audrey Tautou and Juliette Binoche?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:37 PM) :

Oh!
She's absolutely gorgeous.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:12 PM) :

I want those shoes! Her frame is perfect.

Blogger pearlaceous said ... (7:00 PM) :

Beautiful! Perfect spring look.. The mix between heavier clothes and lighter summery ones balance out perfectly, love her natural glowy look, and her ankle boots in combination with her light summery skirt give an interesting mix..

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:11 PM) :

Everything works so well.

Beautiful.

Blogger pepastyling said ... (8:43 AM) :

Really amazing look but is her 80%, this girl would take any piece of clothing into a higher level.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:52 AM) :

So far beyond beautiful! I think she just looks unreally beautiful

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:58 PM) :

LOVELY STYLE!!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:05 PM) :

What a lovely two-tiered skirt! Very cute and flirty!

Blogger Kanani said ... (2:11 AM) :

I love the contrast of the straight lines in the background, with the angled lines of her outfit. They complement one another, and the blues --wow... how gorgeous against warm creamy colors of the stonework.
Hair --wonderfully and casually done, outif --great. Smile...the best.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:38 AM) :

Wonderful. Marry me quick!

Blogger matt williams said ... (8:29 PM) :

If only I had legs that looked hers.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:24 PM) :

My favourite! Love those legs + boot combination.

Blogger style-magnet said ... (10:00 AM) :

Blogger Unknown said ... (3:07 PM) :

Love her outfit!! just great!!

her mixture of clothes, textures, colours ... and of course her lovely face!!

great finding!

Blogger Unknown said ... (5:25 PM) :

Her cream skirt with those black shoe-boots and the knitted cape is totally unexpected. And the way her hair is tied back and those dark bushy eye brows are just beautiful.

Blogger Couture Splash said ... (12:28 AM) :

adore it!!....I really love your work

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:47 PM) :
