Time.com's First Annual Blog Index

I'm honored to have been selected as one of Time.com's Top 25 Blogs.

This list is comprised of some pretty big-time blogworld players. My inclusion is a testament to the strength of a simple idea and what can happen when a group of smart, respectful, reasonably like-minded people come together to discuss something as simple as personal style.

I share this honor with all of you.

Thank you

Here is a link to the article.
Time.com's First Annual Blog Index

I was also recently named #20 on The Guardian's list of The World's 50 Most Powerful Blogs
Ditto everything I just said above but in an English accent.

70, 000 readers? really? That is heady - what a tribe!
You made a great spot for us to check in.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:09 PM) :

congratulations, you deserve it

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:13 PM) :

The Guardian's list! that's how i found you! congrats and thanks for all the pics.

Blogger andrew said ... (11:15 PM) :

Wow! I am basking in reflected glory for you... i just learned that in psychology! anyways yo are clearly the man and congrats congrats congrats

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:16 PM) :

Congratulation to the attention mr Schuman! It is well deserved.
However I would like to make a suggestion, not so much to you but to the people posting comments on your blog. Maybe it sounds really pretentious, but I would really like to see more comments that are a little analytical. Less of "wow, she's cute" and "I need those shoes", and more of “Her style really fits her because…” or ”Those shoes reminds me of...”
I am sure the people that come here has a lot of valuable thoughts and so that would make the comments much more interesting to read. No?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:16 PM) :

Congrats. Wow. 70,000! Your blog is certainly an inspiration to many.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:22 PM) :

Just barely missed 3 million pageviews last month

Blogger Jini said ... (11:45 PM) :

What modesty despite the occasion. Congratulations! So happy for you.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:52 PM) :

Congratulations Scott! Like many others have said, you have certainly earned these honors.

I have to commend you specifically on the fact that although your blog has spawned numerous copycat blogs around the globe, your talent and sartorial eye has managed to ensure that you have remained head and shoulders above the rest.

You have managed to find an element of fashion that, although deserving of recognition, has been absent from mainstream fashion publications; that is, how stylish people wear clothes in everyday life. This revelation is evident in, not only your monthly page in GQ, but in the recent fashion shoots that magazines have commissioned you for (including the recent Paris Vogue supplement).

I have to admit that I do not read many blogs, and no others with any regularity, but I am no less confident in saying that you undoubtedly deserve the regard you have been receiving.

Once again, congratulations.

Blogger fashionfatwa said ... (11:57 PM) :

Blogger cat minoki said ... (5:00 AM) :

I appreaciate your wide spectrum and the mostly neutral and tolerant position you share with us.
+ the quality of your photos is great,
+ you are much more open towards the meanings of fashion than most of us and this unifies the different cultures, trends, styles.
+ your blog is about individuality, not about money, buying power, labels. Everybody can find inspiration here.
So, congratulions! You have a reason to be proud of you. cheers!

It's a pleasure too to have watched Sart's increase in technical skill and see how better tools have helped his vision reach another level. It's always good to see good people get even better.

Blogger Old School said ... (12:47 AM) :

Why do I get the feeling, day-after-day, that all one has to do is come up with a randomly-selected, frequently outlandish, combination of clothes to merit a photo on this blog?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:24 AM) :

congrats and here's to more of the same, continued success. Eyes on the prize man, eyes on the prize! In the www world the cream is rising to the top, thanks to the great big editor in cyberspace or maybe the sinister spidery googlebot, haha, anyway, in your case, it's working out very well. Honestly - I have no time for blogs with self-indulgent irrelevancies, I have no idea who does. But due to your dedicated vision, I not only have time for The Sartorialist, I have to have time or I'm out of touch! Best best best to you, keep it up.
