Great outfit! And her smile is beautiful!

Blogger Susan B said ... (9:01 AM) :

She could almost make me rethink my knee-jerk dislike of navy...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:03 AM) :

So WRONG!!!! But so right. Hello life.

Blogger The Spicers said ... (9:20 AM) :

She's a beautiful woman, and I love the combination of black, navy and brown.

She is an ideal of daily dressing.

Oh she's lovely. Blue, black, brown. Swingy proportions. Great hair and a beautiful smile.

Blogger Paul Pincus said ... (10:21 AM) :

She's perfect. You're so right about that smile. Disarming...gorgeous!

Gorgeous and chic
and you are right.
Great smile!

Blogger benson said ... (10:37 AM) :

She could be wearing a paper bag and still look amazing...gorgeous girl with a great smile!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:45 AM) :

Perfect.

Blogger Coryn said ... (10:48 AM) :

FANTASTIC! I love it. All of it.

Blogger okso said ... (11:01 AM) :

wonderful use of culottes, lovely smile and perfect hair :)

Blogger Lee S. said ... (11:04 AM) :

That smile could sell ANY outfit! But she does happen to be wearing a superb ensemble. I am still loving caramel browns in different textures with dark neutrals.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:09 AM) :

Wow! The rich brown boots and bag with the navy and black look so elegantly understated. Soft drape of the full pants and jacket prevents the outfit from looking too overwhelming. The muted beiges and grays in the background are a wonderful compliment. And this girl is so fresh and pretty with that great smile. Really love this!

Blogger Unknown said ... (11:12 AM) :

You are so right: that smile!

Blogger Unknown said ... (11:49 AM) :

smashingly adorable. navy and chestnut colors are like peanut butter & jelly or chocolate & mint. yum.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:53 AM) :

I would never think to mix navy black and brown. I like that the brown is a reddish/clay color. She is delish and happy.

Blogger Cassaundra said ... (12:24 PM) :

classic, cool elegance.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:32 PM) :

Oui, ca me plait. Et un beau sourire!

Blogger Jacq said ... (12:35 PM) :

Is that jacket navy? Or is it a trick of the light?

I would never think to combine black, navy and a reasonably reddish brown, but she looks very good.

Blogger meemo said ... (1:03 PM) :

What a great smile! She looks so happy!

Blogger Sam said ... (1:10 PM) :

She certainly does have a fantastic smile. I think I love her, so what am I so afraid of? Afraid that I'm not sure of a love there is no cure for...

Blogger gabrielazeanadal@hotmail.com said ... (1:31 PM) :

I love this simplicity. Navy blue clothes with an interesting shape, light brown accessories with an interesting texture, voila! Beautiful efficiency.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:41 PM) :

Wow, she's fantastic. Everything is amazing--her hair, her proportions, her choice of colors.

I love it all! On her, its dreamy.

And can I tell you how happy it makes me to see someone else looking so naturally happy?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:40 PM) :

Wow. Her smile is so brilliant, I could barely peel my eyes away from it to look at those beautiful boots! My favorite color for boots, by the way.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:34 PM) :

Stunning. Absolutely stunning. I love the combination of navy and black. What really makes it work are the brown boots and matching bag. I love this look. And of course, this woman is a real beauty, the hair cut, the face. Lovely.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:39 PM) :

A stunning girl. I love the way the collar frames the face perfectly. Beautiful.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:03 PM) :

great detail on the front of the jacket, nice dart/pleating effect going on..

sart, have you ever thought of shooting in the evening/night? I always tend to see more interesting and fresh fashion at that hour..

Blogger Chike-Ikechi said ... (5:18 PM) :

The smile, the hair, the eyes, the flawless brown skin...she has a rack of aesthetics that could be interchanged in the title. But her smile does beat out the rest. Really loving the simplicity of the coat...not overly busy in the neck and jacket as a whole!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:35 PM) :

loveee that jacket=)

Blogger Unknown said ... (7:24 PM) :

What a beautiful smile and flattering haircut.

Brown and black work because of the chic earthiness of the look. The culottes and the three-quarter-length swing coat are classics.

Also, the degree to which her body is covered, right up to the neck, is quite modest without being a tad bit stuffy.

This look radiates confidence.

Blogger Mlle M. said ... (7:31 PM) :

Proportions are perfect. And never have I felt such a lust for a pair of boots -- I WANT THOSE!!! Ahem. Her lipstick is also such a good shade.

Blogger jackie said ... (8:53 PM) :

love the simplicity.

Blogger Darlene Sinclair said ... (9:44 PM) :

Absolutely perfect. Everything.

Blogger Michelle said ... (10:19 PM) :

one of my life goals is to dress well enough to be spotted on this site. you amaze me!

Blogger Ann (MobayDP) said ... (10:47 PM) :

bwoy di smile pretty fi true!

(boy her smile really is pretty)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:29 PM) :

Splendide.
And that is a great coat.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:11 AM) :

This is one of my favourite looks presented here, ever. I love it because it's so chic and effortless and classy and practical all at once. There's no showiness to this - it's all shine. And the smile and fresh hair...beautiful.

Blogger Stitch Society said ... (1:25 AM) :

Love!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:18 AM) :

Minimalism should always be this beautiful.

Blogger Unknown said ... (4:41 AM) :

she would have made a great model for my shoot..natural, non-posy.. and that skin!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:11 AM) :

Effortless and sassy. Like her hair and that smile that could win hearts and save lives! 10 points:)

Blogger Carl Lehnen said ... (4:55 PM) :

Forget the colors, it's all about the way the coat and pants flare out so dramatically. I'd love to see her walking down the street on a windy day.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:15 PM) :

v. cool
navy black brown

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:25 PM) :

omg, she is the most beautiful lady yet.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:09 PM) :

the line carried between the pants and coat broken by the button at the neck make it seem like her legs go on forever. The way the line tapers upward guides the eyes perfectly to her great smile.

I love it.

Blogger Kanani said ... (12:41 AM) :

It's wonderful because it's not overdone and the greatest accessory that she owns is her smile.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:58 PM) :

Love the flow in her outfit. She's gorgeous; I reckon with that hair and smile, she never looks bad.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:38 PM) :

wow, what a beautiful face. stunning

Blogger USelaine said ... (12:09 AM) :

I love the shapes. There seems to be more and more saddle brown out and about lately.

Blogger Carly said ... (3:42 PM) :

This is a great example of how a blousy silhouette can still show off the great body underneath. I think a big key is the length of the pants. If they were much longer she would be drowning in fabric.

Blogger dwashington314@gmail.com said ... (12:46 PM) :

She looks like an editorial in Essence. They have the best editorials (check em out)and she could easily be in a story on Paris. And that smile!

Blogger la femme said ... (12:14 AM) :

So many African women I've met have gorgeous smiles like that. She looks fantastic.

...and the brown contrasts nicely with the navy blue.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:17 AM) :

I have always admired her style... Mayb one day I will achieve that elegant simplicity.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:27 PM) :

Beautiful woman, who happens to also be very smart. The best about her outfit is her class and sophistication.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:41 PM) :

Damn. She looks great: would not change a thing.

Amazing.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:20 PM) :

Nice coat...oooh, and that smile!
