Oh, yes--actually everything here, just right! But the light through that hair is so fantastic, she could wear literally anything...

Blogger Susan B said ... (8:59 AM) :

Beautiful shot. Love the lighting.

Blogger Mona said ... (9:09 AM) :

i heart skinny white pants. now if only i had the gambs to wear them...

Blogger Chi-Chi and the Greek Vintage said ... (9:21 AM) :

She reminds me of the tom-boy chic that Ines de la Fressange does so very well.

Blogger whyioughtta said ... (9:29 AM) :

Love everything about this shot, her look, etc., but especially the lighting.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:29 AM) :

Isn't she Ines de la Fressange?! Absolutely chic, as always! Ines is my fashion icon, since I was 14 years old (and I'm 32 now).
Simply the best.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:41 AM) :

Classy and fresh. Love white, slim pants.

Blogger Reepicheepers said ... (10:25 AM) :

Simply beautiful! Love the shoes and sunglasses! Why do Europeans always know how to wear and tie scarves better than the rest of the world?!

I wish it was spring where I live!

Blogger Kelly said ... (10:44 AM) :

White denim is one of my favorite staples of all time. I think it looks chic and elegant. Love her shoes, and love the way she tied her cozy scarf. Sart, the lighting here is lush and fantastic. Great shot.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:55 AM) :

so chich, so simple.

I think you can achieve that kind of elegance just if you're slim and in grat shape like the lady here.

You also have to be born with such fine bone structure.....

How about who's a little bigger?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:56 AM) :

That is such a beautiful photograph and it's all about that light streaming in! The way the woman is captured against that light is also great. I like her outfit, but not really her shoes. Otherwise, I just love the photo.

I love her white pants and those Roger Vivier flats!

I like this look. It's very simple compared to a lot of the looks you present, yet very fun. Love the snakeskin bag especially. Her personality seems to be easygoing, like her hair.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:27 PM) :

Is that a scarf or a sweater around her shoulders? It is sort of thick toward the back like a sweater. Happy YES to big glasses/short hair, Skinny white pants/flats, metallic(snakeskin?)bag/grey scarf. Is the fringe on her sleeve or the bag?
Her hand in pocket is a charming pose.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:30 PM) :

Sublime! I love the contrast of the dark coat and the white pants. Her hair is marvelous. Effortlessly chic.

Blogger gabrielazeanadal@hotmail.com said ... (4:42 PM) :

In certain moments of weakness, such a beautiful light make me cry of joy .

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:47 PM) :

That light ...

I left you a message few days ago, but, again, ....That's the real "romanesque" for me ...

Ines -full of grace- with her, time is no time, age has no age...

Few years ago for chanel and...teenager forever, I love her , she's rare, a Lady from another time, not a fashionaddict.. STILE con...questo je ne sais quoi in più...
She could be Italian really ...

Thanck's for that slice of spring ...

the shoes look so cute against the white trousers (jeans?). interesting contrast - bulked up around the neck and so much bare foot showing.

Light.

Beautiful woman - but the halo and backlighting make her perfect.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:47 PM) :

Well Sart, there you go again. God created the planet, Yoseminite Sam, and decreed that only the Milanese women could wear over-sized sunglasses with an "oh so Jackie O" look in those totally mega fab slim pants in the middle of .. Hello ... February, with those cute-fem-Louie cat torze shoes. You and her got it so right at that space in time. Thanks for sharing.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:57 PM) :

Oh my gosh!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:58 AM) :

there's a beautiful nice mood to this picture...
very inviting and warm...
this picture make me want to move back to italy right away.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:07 AM) :

I absolutely love this woman. She looks great and the lighting is amazing!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:45 AM) :

Great picture and outfit. I'm so envious - we are all in layers of winter clothing and up to our waists in snow and slush in Toronot, and there is more coming -no sign of Spring in sight:-(

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:04 PM) :

This is the perfect spring trouser length, and those shoes are just darling. Bravo!

Blogger The Spicers said ... (12:09 PM) :

Ines is such a style icon; always chic!

Blogger Eni + Anu said ... (12:18 AM) :

Love the pants. Hate the look. Think it's a lil overrated.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:10 AM) :

I think this is the way to wear white pants, the length is perfect. With that hair she looks very relaxed, like she's on holiday.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:14 AM) :

The French fashion touch!
Thanks Inès!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:33 PM) :

that is ines!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:39 PM) :

it has to be. only ines can make the sweater over the shoulders look cool & chic!

Blogger Unknown said ... (3:56 PM) :

Wonderful Ines as always...
Not a fashion victim and so stylish

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:27 AM) :

the pants are perfection! that is how the skinny (or slim) pant should be worn

Blogger joshylola said ... (5:27 PM) :

A perfect mixture among Jackie Kennedy and Audrey Hepburn. If they were asking me to define the word elegance with a photography undoubtedly would do it with this one.

Blogger Unknown said ... (9:02 AM) :

Milan: the capitol of style, glamour and fashion.
Happy to live there

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:48 PM) :
