Comments on "Inspiration in High Techno"
... maybe
Hope you had no need of the pronto soccorso in Milan Scott?
bravo! the hair, the eyes, the attitude. part astronaut part renaissance sculptor
I hope this is his work outfit? Guy looks like a clown if not.
never thought someone could look so cool on the job.
I am getting it. It really is about the attitude.
Sart, this is a wonderful portrait. I've been rummaging through the archives, and man, your photo skills have come a long, long way. These are really fine images you're producing.
2001 space odyssey
I saw many individuals in this uniform while studying in Florence. This photograph shows the panache that Italians can give any look. He looks amazing. I love the contrast between the bright orange and the black background.
he pulls this off so well. i think it's his expression. bravo.
He makes me think of an orange crush version of the green Otis elevator men (and women) - something about the boxy-ness of the suit, the attendant tools and (in the case of the Otis, the straps that have a bit of BDSM to them.) It all says "power" and his self-assured stance simply reiterates it
i guess i don't get this one, maybe a cop or fireman might interest me more.
I like tech materials and the post-apocalypse look. Final Home is an example of the kind of designers that produce fashion forward versions of this guy's gear. Very cool.
And by 'astronaut' you mean Italian paramedic. So part Italian paramedic part renaissance sculptor, yes.
yes, i feel it.
Nah looks more like a refined ambulance driver to me
This is great. (Clearly the expression, and photo, as noted).
But why hasn't anyone actually commented about the clothes?
They are inspiring.
The industrial fabric, the details like "x" stitches around the sleeves are cool (we've seen this in luxer updates. Imagine that coat cut slim in a fine grey wool. Interesting).
More interesting, though, is that color. The high-key, specifically industrial colors were seen in Duckie Brown and other this last season. I'll warrant we'll be seeing great scarves/sweaters/socks (pants for the daring or foolish) in these kinds of colors in the months to come.

I love it. A promise of the future fulfilled- fashion + utility. I had hoped that we'd all get space-age jumpsuits and high-tech accessories on 01/01/2001.
it's kind of humorous that ppl are saying that he's pulling off this "look" well. it's his uniform, and he does look well in it, but very clearly, this is not a fashion statement. it's sort of reminds me of that episode in sex and the city when charlotte finds that actor admiring a fire extinguisher mounted on a wall
I suspect he is quite good at his job and he knows it. Of course, should I ever need him I'd hope he was good at his job!
I like the shameless utility of the jacket and how it totally seems part of who this guy is, and the strength of his character just seems to make up for any crudeness the clothes might do. like 'hes the man'
