Comments on "On the Street....YSL Coat, Milan"
who is this? i recognise him from somewhere... anyway like the look, but i mean it helps when u have an amazing face! the shoes are really great too.
I don't care what he's wearing under the coat - I want him out of it!
AUSTERE
ADJECTIVE:
1.Severe or stern in disposition or appearance; somber and grave: the austere figure of a Puritan minister.
2.Strict or severe in discipline; ascetic: a desert nomad's austere life.
3.Having no adornment or ornamentation; bare: an austere style. See Synonyms at severe.
I think the above explained it all. He's very sexy!
I hope he is, the coat itself is beautiful, but a bit large no?
Another great shot sart!
Is this where a coat meets a cape? Those raglan sleeves and that bitty belts meake this coat look so fresh. Of course the slim trouser leg, beat-up shoe, and chisled features don't hurt either. Also nice move not adding a euro scarf ...would have been too much.
Isn't this coat a bit bulky, actually?i.e not the tailored look that you would ordinarily endorse. Either way, it looks good. Don't like the pants though and jury still out on the shoes. There's something about this picture and this guy that is right, but at the same time that just doesn't gel. Who knows.
Energie
Chic silhouette though.
Oh hello. Oh, and that coat is absolutely sumptuous!
Essential YSL indeed!
I love this coat - even if it might be two sizes to big for him. Great color and shape, the raglan sleeves, the movement - and that tie belt. It adds up. I want one.
Nice one, not even in the US!
Too affected
Lovelovelove those shoes!! The jacket has an interesting texture also.
ohhhh wow if this guy isn't a model he should be! what an arresting expression.. very James Dean-esque, and the shoes with yellow laces are charming.
Stunning coat. I once tried on a YSL trench in Colette. Decided not to spend the euros and have regretted it ever since.
It's a lot easier to be the creepy guy in the dark alley when your coat is dark too. I wouldn't take him seriously if he tried to mug me.
how do you spot them? (well i guess that's your secret :-) I have been living for almost three years in this city and I seldom see such inspiring characters...
I like the coat and his rugged looks. Nicely snapped on that brick road.
5 stars.
what a beautiful man.
He's got a bit of film noir going ... like it!
hot hot hot, hot damn!
Love the arched window in the background.
Love the belt on his coat, it gives him a monk aura.
"I bet he is wearing a sweater under there." Hahaha, good one, Scott!
Nice photo, but this guy looksl ike he borrowed his Dad's trenchcoat, and his Dad is Andre the Giant. And what's up with those shoes? At least his pants are nicely tailored.
Beautiful man, beautiful coat, beautiful shoes.
Jesus. He's like the man from my fantasies. Haunting, almost creepy, but fascinating.
And that coat.
This looks like a very tall chap and he pulls off this oversized(?) overcoat beautifully.
Not a great raglan sleeves fan, but this guy could probably pull off most anything.
Except for the shoes--ouch!
Can you please define how long the dress pants should be?
I'm working in menswear store, and I was trained since my first day that pants should end an inch above the floor, or right by the top of the shoe heel. I noticed same length in another stores/ brands across North America. But watching all menswear pictures from europe, i see everybody have theirpants much shorter...so what's right or what's appropriate for what?
What an impressive outfit...makes me think imposing and strong yet soft around the edges.
I bet he could wear many sweaters under that coat.
This picture reminds me of the Tamara DeLempika painting of the Scientist. It's the trench coat for one and secondly the emotion.
dude looks dope. cant stand the laces in his shoes. if i looked that good i would have a nicer look on my face.
nice coat and I like the tight cut of the trousers. colours fit nicely. nevertheless, altogether he looks as if he just jumped out of bed.
Cute guy, love the shoes... He knows he's rocking it, all broodish and what not
Coat is wonderful - the biggest raglan armholes with the thinnest tie belt, his 60s narrow pants and those oxblood shoes with the yellow laces. he looks like a young Rupert Everett. i love it.
An exercise in proportion: the perfectly tailored pants (!!!) beneath that rather dramatic coat.
For me, though, the whole ensemble comes together with that belt.
An Italian Jean Paul Belmondo.
I'll bet that coat, because of its material and light color, shows both wrinkles and dirt quickly and needs frequent cleaning to look good.
If I had this coat I don't think I'd wear anything under it just because it's so great on it's own. It'd be tied of course and with maybe a pair of slacks or jeans but only so I don't come off as weird.

The yellow laces are phat. I'm going to give it a try.
Many sweaters many many sweaters lol
looks like the guy from Paris with the striped socks.
the guy is good.
At any rate, what I'm so into, right now is the colors in the picture. amazing ritrato + colour!
i love how large the coat is...better too wide then too tight.
This guy really has style - it`s rare to see a young guy who dears that extra volume in his coat. I love how it drapes in the back - and the narrow belt!
Guapisimo y muy elegante. ¿donde se esconden estos hombres?
From Spain, Greetings!!
Nice guy in a potato sack. An YSL potato sack.
i don't ordinarily like slouchy raglan sleeved overcoats, but this looks great on him.
each piece on it's own is great, but those boots really don't seem to be supported by the pants at all. i feel like shorter pants look better with shoes, no? anyone?
I don't get it. It looks like the clothes are wearing him and not the other way round. Too bad because the clothes are nice.
Dont like the coat but like the shoes albeit yellow laces (?)
wow.....He looks like a walking unmade bed.....I guess thats stylish....=p
By the way, where did he steal that
Jacket from anyway???
ROFL!!!!
"DO OR DO NOT-THERE IS NO TRY (yoda)
nice coat, but too large!
Are we playing with shapes? I LOVE IT! At first I barely glanced at it- but when I blew it up I saw that this sweet macho head is well shrunken compared to his giant billowy coat. Then his legs look so bare and skinny (also playing with the light vs. dark!) with those GINORMOUS leather lace up shoes.. Tentatively scuffed perfection is what I call it!
The coat is too big!!!!
who is this fellow? you shot him 'Paris chill, Rive Gauche' Jan 23, and FaceHunter shot him in paris Jan 17; always with those old trail boots (they are wonderful), and always in the rain.
I love this coat and how he blends in well with the scene.
That's Garth Spencer from GQ UK. V handsome.
I am really not wild about this coat. The skinny belt's pretty neat, but the raglan sleeves are a mistake dans mon avis.
What is that oatmeal-colored fabric? It's marvelous.
Love this look! And the guy too, lol.
I think he is Sex on legs. He has a Viggo Mortensen quality, raw yet elegant. Funny how italien men are recognizable, classy and sexy, easy on the eyes and something in their posture. Love the coat, seems to have enough space for 2.
