Comments on "On the Street....Sunny Winter, Milano"
Love that hair and the sunnies. Love it all!
hot hot hot
Lovely. A great example of how a good short haircut can elevate a whole outfit. Imagine how much less interesting this would be if she had, say, long hair in a pony tail.
I wish more American women would dare to go short.
Oh, how warm & sunny. Mmm... Camel - one of my favorite colours if not the one I love the most. This scarf is to die for.
Esta chica es un caramelo, de color y de apecto.
love the ray bans and the pixie cut.
Nice picture! The sun light looks gorgeous and this girl looks lovely, like Jean Seberg in ‘A bout de souffle’ in a winter brunette version. I’m not sure about that coat’s texture though…
soooo stylish!!!!!
Anyone knows where the bag come from? Looks like Longchamp.
Love the hair$glass. The hairstyle is hard to pull off. But in this case, she got it.Love the whole look!
very excited in a long time!
love the scarf & the way it´s wrapped, very nice coat, too.
love your blog , by the way
cheers
her coat looks like it's made out of the mat in my bathroom. fun and interesting. great hair as well.
The light on the scarf only enhances the fantastic play on textures and nuance between the wool/cashmere scarf and the jacket.
And that hair with those glasses perfects a very playful tomboy look according to me. Very cute!
Nice bag too!
You are truly great Mr. Sart
Great photo - especially as the sunlight makes her skin tone match the scarf and coat.
Great photo - especially as the sunlight makes her skin tone match the scarf and coat.
Love love the hair!
AMAZING. hot.
wow, incredible! i'm speechless.
i like how if you just look at the coat and scarf, how she looks so proper. but then you see the hair, the patterned short dress, and her cigarette and you realize that she really isnt.
wayfarers go so well with asians! so lovely...
The hair is great. Makes California blondes jealous. Dark hair with pale skin is truly beautiful.
I hope that blue or green eyes are hiding behind those shades. Breathtaking.
But, I wish she's lose the cigarette. Really kills it for me.
absolutely love it, probably im not suitable for short, i just love it
where to start really...
the photo in itself is pretty amazing.
but the main focus, this italian ragazza, can she be any more fun? & I must agree with the comments regarding this hairstyle...just great.
She is going to the cinema later tonight to watch a french film.
This a great three dimensional shot, I love the depth in it.

Why is camel always so excellent??
It's like you caught her under a beautiful spotlight, Sart. I know she looks beautiful ... and the camel colored scarf is to be commended, but it's your photography that's wowing me here. The lighting is exceptional.
Having been viewing your photos for two years now, I can safely say that you're really growing in this art. I'm jealous!
Hmmmm....
Strange juxtaposition.
Her head looks like it came straight out of 1986.
From the neck down she looks vaugely 1940s.
Her handbag is the most modern looking piece in this ensemble, me thinks.
Love the glasses and the haircut !!
Great shot. Great style. The sun hitting that beautiful carmel colour, and her adorable haircut wraps up a perfect moment.
She is perfect! Every little detail is spot on fantastic.
She is fabulous!
Camel and black is always a great combo - and fantastic with a subtle burst of colour under!
In reality, she wouldn't look as cool as in this picture.
It's because of the way she has been captured, by a great photographer with a nice timing-skill.
Good work, Scott.
Beautiful haircut! And is she wearing two scarves? Either way, she looks great.
Kirsten Dunst?
Really over those sunglasses.
I agree with Kara, though. The light in this pic is the best accessory any girl could wish for.
amazing lighting. beautiful!
Adorable girl with that haircut and shorter sleeved coat. The raybans make it look like a bit of classic mixed with modern.
this photo is one of my faves. i love the lighting and the textures and colors of her outfit. and i love her haircut. perfect.
isn't she a movie star? ; )
I get the hint of some funky watch poking out of that sleeve...
She looks exactly like kirsten dunst but with different hair.
very elegant and beautiful.
Sart...this photo is all about how you have captured the light so magnificently. I believe the subject could be anything--although she is too cool for words--and the "anything" would be striking in your light. Thanks for the great blog--
Great photo: the light and the low angle work nicely while the person in the middle ground suggests a crowd and the building is the perfect backdrop for the "girl in the city" atitude. And what an attitude! She makes camel look interesting. My first thought was of Kirsten Dunst too--I wonder why. My second thought was of Jean Seberg, not in Breathless but in Bonjour Tristesse, a sartorial must-see...
She has allure... Gorgeous!
Th photo is really beautiful, but I can't help thinking that the second she moves into less flattering light she'll look frumpy and dull.
Sorry, this is the look of practically every girl in Los Angeles, therefore rather dull. The lighting and angle are beautiful, though.
wow really like her haircut
Her hair is amazing!! Such an inspiration...

Observing your artistry is one of the more cultural moments of my day!
Beautiful girl. Subtle, but fascinating style.
I love the way the scarf is twisted. She looks great!
oh yes.
everything about this photo is perfect.
I love the pattern of the dress peeking out.
That hair! The next time I go short, I must bring in this picture. It is so cool and perfect, classic and basic as well. The Ray Bans are great with the look--it's ladylike, but with an edge. I agree with a previous poster--something about her expression is very Jean Seberg in "Breathless." Nice photo!
Loving the caramel tones with black! Very chic :)
doesn't this look like kiki dunst? she would look cute like this. i want short hair
wuold be great to see her footwear...
There are not many things better than a sunny winter day so you can feel all playful composing your outfit.
Gorgeous! The Bans, the bag, the ciggie, she's delightful.

It's amazing how some people can put together a look so well. And camel being my favorite colour... Well, my favorite today is still the girl with the glasses.
Great hair! If I had that amount of hair....
Anyway, is she an asian girl?
somehow the form of the face and the guy beyond her let me think this.
I wonder what she wears under the coat.
I like the pattern of the skirt either.
Fantastic. Camel and black. What can beat it. I NEED that bag.
Beautiful shot - I would love to be in Milan with that sort of weather!
Love her Longchamp Legende bag as well... looks like the "night blue" colour which is black patent with a slight sparkle.
Wow, the Kirsten Dunst comments made me think I had awoken to an alternate universe this morning. I don't see it at all.
I also never knew people were so obsessed with handbags until I started checking out your site. I wish people would stop asking about them. It's boring.
Aitch
Nice look. Would be nicer still if she'd lose the sunglasses.
lovely ... except for the cigarette.
it must be hard to be this chic.
gorgeous!
You have some kind of weird talent for taking pics. Bizarre.
Ains..... i love this look, her Hair... the attitude. Great Photo! ....this light...
Ray Bans have been out for ages, but this is an example of how personal style can override trend completely. Meanwhile, the photog has captured a perfect "Breakfast @ Tiffany's" angle/moment.
Don't be such a bore dahling -- pour me a another martini....
Love the light at this time of year....you have captured it beautifully. Nice use of aperture too.
She is a brillant example of great personal stye, and of how the Italians manage to accessorise with class. If an English girl were to carry that bag it would inevitably look gaudy.
Am not sure about the fabric of the coat though.
sho is she?
god she's sooo stylish
this photo has solidified my decision to chop my hair off.. thank you for the inspiration.
It's pictures like these that make me incredibly antsy in front of the bathroom mirror with the hair scissors, fingering my long-ish locks, and wondering whether I should just go for it.
Beautiful. I like the slightly shorter sleeve length on the jacket - I tend to think it lengthens and streamlines the arms. Funny, because on the other hand there's nothing that makes legs look stumpier than capri pants.
Luisa.
Short hair gets me every time! Love this look.
ouh, i love this! short hair is so lovely
i am such a sucker for this type of girl.
beautiful photp. i want that dress. the light is gorgeous.
The natural light is amazing! The angle of the photo is really nice. I like how she pops out against the blurred background. Her haircut suits her her small frame. Love her shearling coat and how she twisted her scarf.
This pic makes me really happy! It's beautiful. When are you comming to Stockholm?
I like EVERYTHINg about her, looks and style.
She's gorgeous.
I like the coat!!
i am ansolutely in love with her dress. it is one of the most beautiful geometric prints i've ever laid eyes on. i really wish i could see more of her watch, though.
great photo! incredible light! like the way the scarf it´s twisted. oxox josie
This is one of my favorite shots. I like everything about her, her style and looks and she looks so happy in her own skin. I don't think we older women look good in cropped hair like hers. I did when younger.
sart
any idea where to buy a scarf like that?
or do you know the designer?
Funny how everyone loves the sunglasses and haircut, because I CANNOT STAND IT. I said it before, and i'll say it again, those Ray Bans are
O-V-E-R. The haircut is a hideous fad, just like Agyness Deyn. There is absolutely nothing chic about it.
These Ray Ban sunglasses are lovely... as well as her it bag, which brand is it ?
this outfit is inspiring...beautiful.
love her scarf and teddy bear of a coat...snuggles.
so perfectly fabulous - and she looks SO young!
I wish I could cut my hair this way, I am so very jealous.
This shot couldn't have been better even if it had been posed for. Kudos to the photographer .....love the hair, glasses, the WHOLE just thrown together look is magnificent!
oh to be that cigarette
fabulous hair
Great shot! I have noticed that most of the women you shoot are wearing little or now jewelry. Why do you think this is? Are minimal accessorier (esp jewelry) a general rule to great style?
i always look at a picture and notice the different hues and color. the picture is itself all tonal, nothing burned or black. exceptional work with the hues of blue in the northwest corner, showing blue-white gradient. the shadows around the buildings windows show depth of perception and the angle the building is on is spot on. as far as the main subject of the piece, i say the bag is the main focus. everything has color on and around her except the bag, a dull yet vibrant patent black. it looks like it was photoshopped in. and yes, i love the camel scarf. cant say much else about what shes wearing. i hope im making some sense, my 1st comment on your BLOG! :D
Stunning. That hair is.
love this photo.
she reminds me so much of mavis fan, the taiwanese singer.
The coat is astrakan, a bulky weight yarn, mostly wool. This one looks for real, and believe me, having sheltered in several 100 per cent astrakan coats through serious winters, they are worth their weight. Nothing delivers the warmth and protection, not to mention the divine texture and longevity of astrakan. Having worn cream, brown and black astrakan, I'm enjoying seeing it in a new colour. Never mind the great ensemble work.
astrakan = lamb skin or simulated lamb skin. Let the fracas begin!
