Comments on "On the Street...Adorable, Manhattan"
how cute, adore the pumps
i love her hair, the grey mini, the pumps, the tights, the popped collar of her jacket, but above all, her sweater, which she is wearing almost as a dress, which matches her hair and pulls everything together. she is so cute, too...without make up, she looks about 14.
niiice
I like her simplicity ..
This is the look I aspire to...a chic urban nomad. Lovely!
How adorable is her twenties bob and that cheeky smile?!
True. Adorable she is. Very strange yet very charming mix of sweater, skirt and pumps.
Adorable. Is that an Alpaca sweater?
the same haircut than Mireille Mathieu oh my gods !!!
Where the heck do I find tights that opaque?
I wish you had that shopping guide scheduled for April 07 up!
yep, she's adorable.with the haircut, the leggings and the cute shoes.u go girl
i TOTALLY agree. LOVE the shoes.
Very cute, how the pumps match the color of the skirt, nice, love the gray against the black. Detail on sweater breaks it up nicely.
yesterday was truly a february weather treat and i also took the opportunity to go short with tights. love her hair as well.
From the front the shoes look like an amazing pair that I have from Acne jeans. They are from last s/s collection. The material is denim, with geometric heel with grey suede at the bottom. I wonder if these are the same? If so, great taste :-)
She has that kind of face where you can't tell if she's 22 or 42. Beautiful. I've been wondering when you were gonna take advantage of all these wet side walks around here.
Another one of those. "God I miss NY!" shots.
This is a perfect shot of a perfect girl, in a perfect city.
Very adorable
LOVE the shoes, but the sweater is quite hideous.
such a lovely ensemble... chic, comfy, sophisticated and yet down to earth. beautiful combination of colour / texture. also very much like the way the ground adds an almost tactile quality of material.
so cute! Great hair especially.
she's warm and cozy and cute all rolled into one.
the panel of muted tones (sweater, skirt) framed by black, in turn framed by the wonderful colours and textures of the wet concrete- this photo is so beautiful! what a lucky person. my eye is drawn repeatedly to the line of her ankle and calf against the bright spot on the concrete...
perfection, the fall shows seem to be going in a superficial direction, but here the fabrics are more natural and soft. Her hair cut is sofisticated yet (paired with her eyerows) seem naturally untamed. Love the sweater (faded dusty rose and black!) and proportions. Also like the grain on the concrete below her, it echoes her refined and natural beauty.
Absolutely stunning.
she does look adorable ..
and comfortable (which is the key to being cute).
The northern and southern hemisphere in one look. I love it.
Oh, this is so me!! Unbelieveable! So I really don't have to worry that this hair is making my face way too big... Kisses, T.
oh, yeess! ADORABLE & MIX!!
great sweater. great colors. great mini.
great sweater. great colors. great mini.
Boy, what a sweet girl!
Love the smile and the hair!
precious
cute.
love the V-neck sweater.
Love the texture in this picture, the different fabrics on her clothes and shoes, the blur of the background, the grooves on the street. Very nice. She is great as well, love the confidence and the style.
I love the juxtaposition of her look. The rugged alpaca sweater and oversized men's jacket against the dainty mini and pumps. Even the angelic shape of her face and softness of her bobbed hair seem to belie the mischievous twinkle in her eye. This girl is a force to be reckoned with I bet!
The look is very good. I think it helps to enhance the uniqueness in her. She looks naturaly beautiful and confident.
I love her haircut- It goes well with her face.
I like her way of mixing sage, tan, and black...it works well and it looks clean.
Her cute bob and expression are what makes this adorable. Not so sure I'm all that into her sweater...
Nice soft shades with sharp black... The grey shoes are perfect.
le charmant petit chou...
i only like her skirt and shoes.
when you only look at the small version of the picture, it looks like she's standing on a wooden floor!
I have been looking at your site for a couple of years now and never commented....but she is the goods.
how old is she?
The pumps are fantastic and I love the wheat and charcoal combination.
Of course, I think these proportions really only work on a very thin woman.
She's adorable: the kind of ebullient girl you want to spend all day sipping coffee with.
Love the bulk of the coat with the sleek black tights...but what's she wearing under the sweater?
She looks so cute...love the youthful ease of her look.
y love your blog!!!!
and the sweater of the north of Argentina .
my fashion blog is http:tejidosypieles.blogspot.com
Adriana
lovely coat, with the jumper and the shoes- absolutely adorable. she looks so chic, paris/nyc. also love her haircut and the ends of her shirt showing perfectly enough in her pockets
This is a great way to wear a funky sweater! It kind of dresses it up without trying to be too formal.
We need more cute, and this is the perfect balance of cute, fashionable, and sexy (Helps to have great legs)
I love everything on her: page boy hair, mini skirt, long sweater, legs and smile. The wet asphalt seems to join my feelings.
love the proportion of her outfit.
Oh, love love love! The hair, the coat, the stance. What a cutie.
the outfit works but her face it is abs lovely - really fresh lights up the photo!
I enjoy wearing heels, but find that taking public transportation and do a lot of city walking in rainy Seattle. I've always wondered if these stylish women really suffer for beauty, or have tips for us mere mortals on to make wearing stylish heels a reality?
I enjoy your insight and thoughtful observations.
i like it but i think it could have worked better with different shoes
I love her shoes.
perfection! lengths, layers, colors are all just right.
Cool, very natural.I like hint of grey in the dress that matches the grey with her shoes.
who thinks the bob is coming back? will it take over long hair? your thoughts?
A modern Holly Golightly - sweet!
I love this one.
It's nice to see people who appear so comfortable with themselves and their style.
I want to put her in my pocket! Perfect.
Completely adorable. I love the Amelie hair, and those shoes... le sigh.
How old is she? Kind of looks like Ellen Page.
i love the layering of the shirts, and the jacket length. and the colors! over all soooo cute!!
i love the lhama sweater
Love the hair! The sweater reminds me of those indian blankets my mom used to get at festivals. Love the look all together.
I love the mixed colors
This is really good. Perfect actually. Thank you for a non fashionista.
Perfect placement of the Peruvian pullover.
oh so cute!
great way of wearing a bariloche sweater, specially creative, and of course, charming.
finally a cowichan sweater that doesn't look like it belongs to a hippie.
Wish my childhood "fashion" photos looked like this. Love the outfit... it's current and age appropriate!
She's so cute, she looks like Alexa Chung especially with the fringe.
Adorable shoes!
She's wearing a sweater under that coat!
i've been trying to find meself an artic sweater. now after this, i'm gonna look harder.
I never thought I'd see anybody in NYC wearing a Cowichan sweater, and I never thought it would be considered "chic" lol
in a visit to venice a couple of winters ago i likened the experience of walking the narrow streets and the 'canyon' formed by the buildings framing the sky above and/or canale and pavement below to a small-scaled version of the same manhattan phenomenon, in this case sky and pavement [especially in the financial district where i used to live]. but a long tangent...
i love the reflection of sky behind the girls left leg. i miss NYC.
Adorable says it all :]
I love the whole look, especially the coat. Her haircut is perfect.
Cute, simple, and warm, yet not boring in the slightest! Loving the popped collar.
love the haircut!
Even Morty likes her look.
And I do too.
An 10:07 You should try Wolford 80 denier tights. They look as opaque as the one the girl has in the picture.
She is chic and well-dressed without taking herself too seriously. A really inspiring picture.
Lovely - young and cute without looking too hip or pretentious.
love egg-shape. love "supa-cute" haircut and love legs. my look!
even more than the outfit, i love the photograph - how the subject is between two buildings, the details of the cards and construction stuff on either side, the grittiness of the pavement, and the lines that direct the eye to the depth of hte photo... and the strong line that veers off to the right. well done!
ahhh, one of my favorites so far... she gets it.
xo*
Awesome, love the cowichan style sweater, oversized is always good. I've yet to tire of these bobs, they're everywhere but I LOVE 'em. Style-wsie, def see the A.Chung similarity.
Adorable. I love the grey pumps. Anyone know what tights they are? I love the rich opaque matte look.
i love it, but seems like there's a trend of andean-ish pattern sweaters...
Oh no. Took a second look at the picture. She has ruined her sweater by pulling out the sleeves and rolling them over the sleeves of her coat. That´s the way with young people. They just don´t care. Wear and throw away. That´s how it seems to me.
gorgeous!
cute girl!
Jack Daniel:
I said the same thing when I commented yesterday (even though my comment is nowhere to be seen today - ?!!)
If you only look at the bottom half of the photograph it looks like she's a tiny character in a stop motion world as if she's standing on a wooden table!
Those shoes with those tights...terrific!
Love her expression!
she looks like a cute fashionable mushroom.
Katie!!!!
Oh yeah.......she's got it. Whether you like the sweater or not, this girl has style. The real deal.
I love the childish bob.
The Bolivian (or Peruvian?) sweater could only look so chic on her under a shapeless peacoat like that.
Love the facial expression and playfulness.
u look great,Katie-love, Dad
i love how the sleeves are slightly pulled out...she's look so effortless and chic.and i agree..she totally gets it
Mi piace molto il suo modo di porsi davanti all'obiettivo! Mi ricorda Charlize Theron in Sweet November!
In English: She's really nice, and in my opinion she look like Charlize Theron in Sweet November
super adorable!!!!
yeah, adorable, indeed! :D
forget the clothes!!! it's the FACE that's the ULTIMATE look here!!
I would wear this in a heart beat.
Super cute, super simple, super stylish
What a gorgeous photograph. I love the black and her legs!
Like an F. Scot Fitzgerald heroine... Love her!
insanely cute. she should be gift wrapped for the world to enjoy.
Way too cute and innocent. Love her and love the look!
I have to say that is wired to see a llama sweater in NYC. That sweaters are made in South America, specially in Peru or Bolivia. at Argentina, my country, all the people use them. I have to say that are really worm! you shoud buy one of those for winter! I already have one! josefina
These jumpers (yes jumpers in Ireland) are the kind of thing you wear again and again, lovely to see them having a chic outing on this stylish girl!
Pullover del Altiplano Boliviano, muy buena idea. Parece de alpaca.
Peinado genial
Tenes razon Josefina, parece de de nuestro norte argentino, o al menos del altiplano boliviano. Saludos. Silvia.
saw her in nolita after this shot and told her i saw her on the sartorialist - sweetest girl ever with the cutest features. so NY.
i love her. i really want my hair like this but have been advised against it as i would look about 12. the coat is gorgeous.
Exactly the look I aspire to. Fun, cute, confident and a bit of sexy.
I just found this blog and I love it. For a girl in small town Germany, this is exactly the inspiration I needed.
shes super cute. it looks very scandinavian
