gorgeous, rock and roll.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:40 PM) :

Well, u gotta love the scarf. Could be even bigger as far as I am concerned:-)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:50 PM) :

the guys jacket looks like the H&M one i saw in NJ......it is a great jacket and i would have bought it if i wasn't a cheapo

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:55 PM) :

Eh, voila!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:58 PM) :

The perfect leather jacket. Wow.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:10 PM) :

James Danziger's scarf: calculated, old. Young Paris' scarf: casual, youthful. This is a study in very measured proportions that are very much pulled off (and topped off) by that mop of hair.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:16 PM) :

i just loved the jacket, but man, that hair is really damaged.

Blogger Elizabeth said ... (8:18 PM) :

I don't know which is better: his hair, the jacket, or the wall in the background?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:24 PM) :

Yum.
His hair is awesome.

Yes?

Blogger Patrick said ... (9:22 PM) :

I like the fit of that jacket. It is really snug, and slim fitting.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:15 PM) :

I love the rock-n-roll feel.

Blogger Unknown said ... (10:20 PM) :

like a modern rimbaud!

Blogger rosemary x said ... (10:42 PM) :

this may be my favorite look you've featured yet Sart! possibly because it's exactly what i would wear...or WANT to wear if i could find that jacket...

what a lovely mop of hair!

I love the contrast of tough guy clothes with angelic curls. If he were my son, I would burst with pride!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:59 PM) :

he is lovely..
cool, calm, collect - and fashionable!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:15 PM) :

THAT JACKET, that face, that confidence!!! Mais, oui!

Blogger AdamfromVA said ... (11:39 PM) :

looks ridiculous, poor choice for a picture

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:48 PM) :

is it just me or does this remind anyone of bob dylan?

Blogger Leigh said ... (11:55 PM) :

he looks like young bob dylan!

Blogger emoney said ... (12:06 AM) :

Very Bob Dylan. I like.

Blogger Unknown said ... (2:24 AM) :

the texture of his hair + dead vines in the background = amazing.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:40 AM) :

because of his frizzy brown hair, i think he looks like bob dylan. why didn't anyone else think of this? come one! it's so obvious: young, male, curly brown hair! bob dylan, guys, man are you all slow on the uptake, he's a dead ringer, as are roughly 80% of young caucasian males with wild brown hair. here comes the story of the hurricane! like a rolling stone! boots of spanish leather! stuck inside of mobile! jingle-jangle! she's an artist she don't look back! aaah remember when he went electric his hair looked totally sweet

Blogger gabrielazeanadal@hotmail.com said ... (4:20 AM) :

He is so cute and cool! I think it is a very unusual thing for such a young boy to have such a clear sense of style -scarf, belt, ring, pose...- That is what makes him so extraordinary.

Did he decide to wear all that on his own? I can't help wondering if that outfit is constructed out of some girlfriend’s, brother's or parent's advice. Anyway, that would be a natural thing and it really doen't matter much.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:30 AM) :

cute hair and the jacket is great

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:25 AM) :

Such a cutiepie! He looks like a guy who enjoys reading poetry or talking girls for a rideo n his vespa:)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:45 AM) :

Stunning....

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:03 AM) :

Great photo overall. I wish young men in the US would learn how to dress like this.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:51 AM) :

Rock n' Roll attitude, but so meticulously styled + proportioned: could the scarf be more perfectly wrapped (cascading diagonal of the fringe). He looks great! I'd be looking twice if i passed this lad on the street!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:54 AM) :

the outfit is very nice, but, please, that belt.. omg... I don't even comment about it.. :-D

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:21 AM) :

I LOVE this look! The whole ensemble is awesome!

Blogger Chloe said ... (9:29 AM) :

I LOVE "young Paris" - Parisian kids that come to McGill university are always so effortlessly well-dressed. More, please!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:27 AM) :

Hélas! Extreme youth goes by in the twinkle of an eye. Hence its great beauty. It's a wonderful iconic photograph for latin Europe.
Thanks, Sart!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:36 AM) :

i love his hair!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:59 AM) :

Great jacket, great belt. He looks oh so cool. Wish I would see young guys looking so good around here.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:45 PM) :

I was trying to decide why I loved this shot so much when I realized that I - one of the biggest Bob Dylan fans in the history of the world - was looking at an outfit my favorite musician might wear. Haha!

This guy is definitely cool.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:51 PM) :

Someone said young Rimbaud. I quite agree!

Blogger Liz said ... (2:18 PM) :

The hair, the jacket- both remind me of a young Dylan- its the ring on the middle finger that i find so intriguing though.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:34 PM) :

Trop mignon, celui la... j'adore ;)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:20 PM) :

oh wow, so french.
his scarf is to die for.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:00 PM) :

Simply awesome jacket and cool attitude.- Just perfect.-

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:02 PM) :

What an angel! he is a star...
I would let this boy be in my family.

Blogger we could grow up 2gether said ... (7:09 PM) :

we need to come up a name for this kinda hairdo, its GOLDEN!

Blogger deborah said ... (9:08 PM) :

He's quite the looker! His hair is cute...haha. The jacket is awesome.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:46 PM) :

comfortable in his skin, nice to youth expressing themselles with such stlye.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:07 PM) :

tres bon mec ~

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:44 AM) :

To be honest, he looks a lot more like a hobbit to me than Bob Dylan, but he's adorably cute. I like the length and texture of the jacket witht he scarf and lighter belt. Very approachably rock and roll. Where were these guys when I was in high school?

Blogger Parisian_Dandy said ... (2:09 AM) :

very parisian....the scarf does it all for me....awesome

" i would have bought it if i wasn't a cheapo"

a great jacket is a great jacket, no matter what the price, if you need something to be expensive to make it look good you lack personal style.

Yes, Chloe! Hadn't thought of convincing Sart to come to Montreal by saying that the Parisian diaspora could be found here. Nice!

Sart, really: what say you? Rentre a Montreal, man!!

Yes, there's a pinch of Paris here but there's so much more.

C'mon? C'mon. C'mon!

Oh, yes, and lil laddy looks lovely.

mltt

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:02 PM) :

If I knew someone who dressed like that, had a face like that and had hair like that ... well, I would either die and/or jump him (not in that order).

But the look is amazing.

And I can see the Bob Dylan resemblance. But, and this is me still being in high school, he also bears a resemblance to Nick Jonas of the Jonas Brother -- only in the face/hair/skinny body. "Young Paris's" clothes are much more toned down and chic-er/cooler than the JoBro.

Blogger Unknown said ... (2:55 PM) :

gotta go to the source
young bob looked like rimbaud too:)

Blogger Kanani said ... (7:50 PM) :

Ah, youth.
This photo almost made me cry. Teenage boys, you know? I'm a Mom. I have one. And I know how much they worry about looks and piecing things together and I see how much thought he's put into this perfect look.
But I couldn't tell him that... you see... he'd die of embarrasment.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:39 PM) :

What everyone thinks the youth of Paris looks like. He's in fact a rarity, no show, subdued details, contrasted belt (cannot see shoes). Superbe, très beau.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:32 PM) :

I much prefer jeune Paris over the young COWBOYS that go to my school.

*I love the 'fro more than anything.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:10 AM) :

jamie watson DID mention that he looks like bob dylan. i thought she deserved credit. i agree.

Blogger jai said ... (10:41 AM) :

something so plain about the image, then i realize that it is so in harmony. nothing but a deeply connected casual existence. that young man has refined taste and style.
perhaps perfect.
perfect taste, style, time of day, angle of shot, mood.
thanks sart. for sharing it.

I love that leather is making a comeback in a softer fresher way.

Blogger Kseniya said ... (3:40 PM) :

this guy is so cool!
xxx

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:21 PM) :

I hate to break it to you all but everyone dress' like this guy in Paris.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:15 PM) :

He DOES look like Bob Dylan! That's pretty cool. Or like one of the members of The Strokes. Either way he pulls the look off very well! Bravo!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:24 AM) :

Name for this hair-do:

'The Caravaggio'

Blogger kohkohchanel said ... (5:14 PM) :

only if all boys his age could dress as well as he does.....

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:54 PM) :

wow... wonderful ensemble
i'm impressed that someone so young is able to look so well put-together

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:24 AM) :

He looks like a young Meatloaf...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:05 PM) :

i hate leather, but it looks okay here. probably because it's well-beaten...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:53 PM) :

Incredible! Casual Elegance! Confidence Personified. Thanks Sart. for sharing this awesome photo. Ooh to have that hair.

Blogger Gabriela Francuz said ... (3:42 PM) :

pure rock and roll

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:42 PM) :

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:36 PM) :

i love love love love this. so sophisticated, and he looks like a nice guy.

Blogger allrweis said ... (11:42 PM) :

i think that the jewelry is probably my favorite part. well, and the scarf.

classic bob dylan.

my first thought was definitely Rimbaud! very cute, love the jacket.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:24 AM) :

style is effortless and flawless.that is all.

Blogger Unknown said ... (8:56 AM) :

Perfect fit jacket. There is some timeless class to this look, you could wear it almost anywhere and not feel out of place.

Blogger emc2 said ... (9:23 PM) :

Standouts: belt, scarf, and bricks.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:49 AM) :

so beautifully stereotypical :)
