Wow, here is a little story going on, it seems. I really like the colors though, they seem to suit her very well! I could never get away with that colorscheme...

Beautiful colors!

I'm posting today for the first time, to say that your eye and talent are a magnificent addition to my mornings. Your photography as of late has demonstrated a keen-ness of observation and a quick reflex that makes these photographs sing, not simply with fashion, but with situation.

I have been an avid viewer of your site for a year now, but these recent photographs tap into a spirit that is even more beautiful than before. Sincere thanks and congratulations.

The mustard and the burgundy looks very good together, never would've thought to put those colours together, lovely.

Trendspotters pay attention! Like yesterday's sensational photo of the ragamuffin- not as was incorrectly noted "granola" but definitely more folklorico ( as they say in SOCAL)...id est, checks, shades of plum, yellow lines and floral prints.

I'm grooving on it man.

I like the ways the colors play off one another. It's Hogwarts-esque, if I must admit why I really like it.

What is that splash of bright color and pattern on the outside of her coat, but behind her? I can't really see it, and I was wondering if that was an additional element of the look?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:00 AM) :

Can somebody clarify what's going on with the pink, maroon, and white print that's sticking out slightly to her right below her waist and extending below the coat? I can't figure out what piece of clothing that is.

Blogger Post-it boy said ... (10:19 AM) :

Love this look, although not sure it would work as well without her arms crossed?

Blogger Unknown said ... (10:30 AM) :

what a beauty!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:44 AM) :

A nice study of contrasts.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:36 AM) :

I love the colors.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:40 AM) :

i agree with the hogwarts thing. she could totally be in gryffindor.

Blogger Joseph Gordon Cleveland said ... (1:03 PM) :

j'adore cette sac.

Blogger Austin.Garnett said ... (1:22 PM) :

a++! there's a reason the two guys behind her are checking her out!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:28 PM) :

that color combo reminds me of the dalai lama. blue beanie in the background looks interesting!

Blogger Miss Cavendish said ... (2:00 PM) :

I love the punch of yellow

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:53 PM) :

This is the reason I love this blog....because even though this color combination is not my favorite, I appreciate that beauty and inspiration is different things to different people. I do love the way her coat matches her lips. i wonder if that's her natural lip color? Congratulations on all of your success Sart!

Blogger marie said ... (6:50 PM) :

love the mix of patterns!
i just made a bag like that in pinks and reds (with exactly same check!)
oh and the quilted coat is lovely!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:52 PM) :

Gorgeous, gorgeous photo!
Striking colors...

The thing peeking out from behind her, I'd say it's an umbrella!
(Or a plastic bag?)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:08 PM) :

What a lovely girl!!It's nice to see CDG ?'s amusing one.on the runway,we didn't think anyone could wear those coats so naturally .

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:59 PM) :

I must say, I think the plaid shirt sleeves absolutely tie it together. :D This woman did an excellent job choosing colors that harmonize with her skin tone. Very nice!

Blogger Jessica said ... (12:07 AM) :

I think the (paisley ?) printed thing behind her is an umbrella that she's holding in her left hand that's tucked under.

Blogger Mai said ... (12:54 AM) :

i that umberto leon (opening ceremony) i spy in the background?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:59 AM) :

that was supercute and inspiring. love the hair and the colours and the coat and such a quirky way to use that yello.

Blogger JRenee said ... (10:08 AM) :

I love the composition of this image. The three perfectly placed characters, the drab colors in the back ground slowly growing more interesting as your eye moves the front from black to the blue cap to the explosion of complimentary colors with the perfect plaid texture here and there. Fabulous.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:45 PM) :

The clothes are great, and what a pretty girl!

Blogger The Spicers said ... (1:34 PM) :

What a great color combination!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:44 PM) :

I must be the only one who doesn´t like this photo.Actually the colors match her skin and hair, but the colors together are so sad that I instantly feel very depressed.

Blogger Wildegenes said ... (2:35 PM) :

I like this because it doesn't look posed like the other shots. It looks *un*- self conscious as if she didn't put a whole lot of thought into it. She picks colors that appeal to her and naturally it comes together. I'm glad to see she is bucking the trend of doubling the scarf and sticking both ends through the fold. I am so tired of that big lump on the chest.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:49 PM) :

masterpiece!

Blogger C said ... (10:12 AM) :

love the way you captured the two guys looking at her.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:32 AM) :

well, nice color contrast, but um..i love her lovely bang more, which makes me want to touch and feel the softy of her silly hair.
